A very interesting, valuable account of the relationship between Kennedy and Roosevelt - both incredible ambitious (and self-confident) men, who left an indelible mark on American politics. Beschloss details the working and political relationship between these two men, and the ways in which they supported and clashed with each other. (There is also the rather nice circular narrative - Joseph Kennedy supported FDR's campaign for the presidency, and Franklin Jr. would later support JFK's campaign for the presidency.)
An interesting book, well-written. Recommended.
