Melena wakes up one morning in an especially good mood and a song in her heart. She decides to listen to this song and let it guide her through the day. This book carries themes of forgiveness, kindness, and starting each day with a blank slate. I liked the diversity in the book as well and the author discusses what jubilee means and its history in the back of the book.
