I just could not get into this book.

It has been said many times that it is all in the details, and you certainly won't find a lack of them in this book. In fact, there are so many details about the minutia about the main character's life, that you might just fall asleep before you finish the book. I nearly did.

This would be a much more interesting book, in my opinion, if the narrative ran smoother. Perhaps there are others who will like this writing style, but I found that it made it impossible for me to get into the book and feel any closeness to the characters.

Read the book and see what you think. It just wasn't for me.
