What originally drew me in was the title and description; it did not seem like the typical YA fantasy novel that follows the same trend. I was right but at points, I was a little confused. Willow stood out to me in the book; she is driven and smart but other than that, I could not get hooked.

I would consider this in the dystopia genre of books though it had a medieval feel to it. Over all, it was pretty good book. The writing is slightly choppy, but I liked the main character.
