Man, I Hate Cursive is a collection of comics from Jim Benton about a variety of topics, including parenting, school, religion, self-reflection, the creative process, and more. I felt like it was too short, and many of the comics had me laughing out loud. Jim Benton really showcases his flexibility as both an artist and a comic in these pages. While reading I had discovered that I have seen several of the comics on Facebook over the years since this book was published, and had not realized it was by Jim Benton.

Note: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley. I was not compensated in any other fashion for the review and the opinions reflected below are entirely my own. Special thanks to the publisher and author for providing the copy.

hm.. I've never done a comic sketch review before but this one actually wasn't bed. The humor was pretty dark but in hilarious way. Some of them were funny, some ok, some not funny at all and some I just didn't get it. I had few out loud laughing. Overall it was very entertaining reading and I actually enjoy it.

I have to download a program to my PC to read this book (Adobe Digital Editions) so I will not be able to read this book. Had I known I never would have requested it.
