Fun although not entirely compelling. I guessed the identity of Blue Spark almost from the outset of the book. The crime fighting and mind control aspects added an interesting element of intrigue to the novel and while I applaud the author for the inclusiveness of LGBT characters and for treating them in such a matter of fact manner, the relationship aspects felt forced at times.
Overall a fun read that younger teens might find enjoyment from but I don't feel that it will become a long term staple within their library.
