This title was beautifully written and heartbreaking. The book jumps between times in the author's life in order to better explain the story of how her sister's 'perfect' marriage ended with her murder. A must-read for any murderinos.
This book was such an eye-opening memoir and should be required reading for anyone concerned with an abused family member or friend. What I really liked was that the author did not focus on the abuse, rather her life and how it intertwined with that of her sister. Taking the reader through life as young girls and how as they grew older, their lives had an ebb and flow that changed with their own lives and family committments but always keeping their connections until tragedy strikes and they wonder what could have been done to stop this. As a rule, I do not gravitate toward non-fiction but this was a hit and I will be passing the title along to others.
