Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this book as much as I did the first one in this series. The characters seemed very immature at times and the fact that they both can just give up responsibilities whenever they want made them very hard to relate to.
Delia is a single parent, but frequently leaves her son at home with her father so she can spend all hours of the night with Garrett often sneaking back home after midnight. She spends so much time working one would think she would want to spend more time with her son but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Garrett up and left Seattle with no notice and seems to have gone awhile without checking in with work. While I think this is a little more realistic than Delia, I don't think it would have been as easy to up and leave and then suddenly come back.
I still enjoyed this story, but I wanted more depth to the characters. I wanted more of a backstory as to the reason Garrett was so in denial of his feelings. Or something more with Delia's ex.
