Two damaged souls trying to heal each other...
Ewan is happy to manage his uncle's pub and live normal life until his past comes to bother him. He left that life 5 years ago and happy living in this small town outside of Boston. While he is waiting for the thug to leave, he bumps into someone and she is lying on the ground. He was trying his best to help beautiful yet disoriented girl on the ground.
Quinn just lost her parents and she decided to spend her summer with her aunt. She never expected to literally run into someone. When she realize Ewan wasn't the one who caused her to fall, she lets him escort her. When she arrives at her aunts house, she finds out her aunt is not big fan of Ewan.
Quinn is new in town and she wasn't sure if Ewan is bad boy like everyone assumes. Quinn is not sure what is drawing her to him but she isn't uncomfortable around him.
Ewan feels different around Quinn. Something is different about her and it is drawing him to her. He wants to get to know her and spend time with her.
However, Ewan never opened up to anyone about his past and he feels he will never be enough for Quinn. Quinn doesn't care about his past but he must open up.
Quinn's plan is to spend her summer and back in Pittsburgh but will Ewan let her go?
It was great start to the series. I did like the fact they both had enough baggages and they didn't give in easily. Story flowed easily and I can't wait to get to the next book.
Thanks to net galley and author for ARC in exchange for honest review.
I really enjoyed this and found I didn’t want to put the book down because I was anxious to see what would happen next
Unfortunately this never downloaded to my kindle. Cannot review unfortunately
LOVED this book!!!
H0ly hotness!!! Ewan is just HOT HOT HOT HOT!!!!
I liked reading how broken Ewan's character was and the heartbreaking story behind it. I'm thankful for his uncle as I think the story would have ended much differently had he not gone to visit Quinn that one afternoon. Quinn's own story was heart breaking in itself but I felt like we were able to watch her work through her guilt and finally move forward with her life. I think we also began seeing Ewan do the same.
Looking forward to reading more in this series!
