I stopped and started this one several times and really wanted to get into it but had a hard time connecting. There were some nice written heated scenes and I enjoyed those. I wanted them to get to their HEA so I read until the end. Ultimately this was a miss for me.

This is the type of Meghan Quinn books that I really enjoy. It still has all the sass and outrageous humor as all her other books but it also has a lot of heart. We get another side of the characters that make them a lot more likeable and make you really fall for them.
It's a slow simmer, that starts off at just the right pace and makes it worth it once you get where it's going.

Loved it! I have not read a Meghan Quinn book yet that I did not like!! I really enjoyed reading Bodi and Ruby's story. The writing was amazing and the storyline was excellent. I highly recommend this book!

Bodi and Ruby were fabulous. Two wonderful personalities and when they came together sparks ignited. Amazing and funny bantering between them. The chemistry undeniable. Bodi has some OCD tendencies and I couldn't wait to found out why. Ruby was just as intriguing. Sweet and vibrant. I love a great sports romance and stroked Long delivers.

Whatever formula Meghan Quinn used to create this story needs to be bottled up and sold...

EVERYWHERE!!!!!

RomCom is a secret pleasure read for me but I don't get to enjoy it too much because at times I find it less hit and more miss.

Not here folks! This story was sexy, funny and quirky and had me laughing right to the end. Future RomCom writers need to read this story and take notes.

I am in love with Bodi and Ruby. I'm absolutely enamored by them. He's got OCD and a ton of anxiety issues. She's awkward, rambling, and suffers from can't-shut-up-itis. They're a match made in heaven in my book and it was obvious from the start. Ruby's compassion and understanding of Bodi were beyond impressive and she's got a heart to be envied. Bodi's story broke my heart but I found joy in witnessing him strive to conquer his fears and open himself up to change. These two have earned a spot on my list of favorite couples. They are amazingly beautiful together and individually.

Seriously though Meghan...

Please don't EVER change. Every book I've tried of yours has been a winner and STROKED LONG is no exception. If any of you are still Quinn virgins, hurry the heck up and get on that! I can pretty much guarantee that you won't regret it!!

I am the minority of reviewers here, but I did not like this. I tried and DNF it around 20 % in.

Once upon a time, a fictional character called Bodi Banks stole my heart...

I freaking loved this book! This is not a surprise. Meghan Quinn is an extremelly tallented author. Her books are a always fun to read.

Bodi is not the typical hero. His life changed after a very traumatic event during his childhood. He suffers from OCD, is a social recluse and needs help.

Enters Ruby. She´s exactly what he needs in his life. From the moment Bodi and Ruby meet sparks fly but neither is really capable is acknowledging the scorching hot chemistry.

After a lot of ups and downs, will this couple be able to leave the past behind and be happy together?

This slow burn romance will leave you breathless. You´ll laugh (like crazy, sometimes), cry, swoon and fall in love, just like I did. It´s excellent!

This was my first book by Meghan Quinn and I have to admit, this totally wasn't what I was expecting. At first, I wasn't sure what to think of the main character, Ruby Hearts. Imagine meeting someone where it looks like a box of crayons threw up on her outfit and uses jazz hands and shoots fake guns. In the end, I loved both Ruby and Bodi. The things they would say/text were laugh out loud hilarious. I definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading the first book in the series.

Thanks to NetGalley and Meghan Quinn for an arc of 'Stroked Long' in exchange for an honest review.
