Murder mystery, romance…

For a novella, this story packed in a multi-threaded storyline and lots of drama and emotion. Darlene was a widow but not by choice. She would have rather divorced the man who once meant everything to her. Teamed up with Vlad, the new-ish player on her husband’s team, they would find out why her husband was killed. What they also did was explore the physical attraction and feelings that grew between them. Their path was chock-a-block full of heat and honesty, with no limits to their shared desire.

My only advice is to dive right in (and turn up the fan!).
