I had read the other books in this series, and so when I seen this book was released, and with how I did love Raymond and David's relationship from the previous book about them, I had to see what was going on between them.

I must admit, Hassell blew me away with this story. It's not often that an author will take a couple who, for all intents and purposes, are given a happy ending, and totally flip them upside down. Which is what happened in this book.

Getting to follow along as Raymond and David were put through their tests was great. And it gave them both a more "real" feel because their relationship hasn't always been easy. And this book shows that.

Raymond's character did grow some more in this book - which I did enjoy. David also grew but for me, it wasn't as obvious as Raymond.

And of course the characters from the other books were mentioned so we got to catch up with all of them.

Overall, a great addition to this series and I can't wait to read more.
