Ms Brownley is my go-to author of Christian fiction when I am looking for genuine fun complemented with relatability (not always the case in novels in general!) You will never get headache from the heavy philosophies and/or morale of the story bluntly put over your head as the authoress’s stories are penned with a light hand, but they are never fluffy. Genuine human stories I’d say, infused with (really funny) humour.
As this is a Christmas novel, you will also be given a portly dish pf genuine sweetness, relationships mended and/or started, new hope and true meaning. Never saccharine, but quality chocolate this is - and I was under its spell immediately. Precisely what I needed before Christmas!

A sweet holiday romance for Sally and Rick. It has been awhile since their breakup, but now Sally is back to take care of her grandmother, and the sparks are still there. A warm and quick read that should put you in the holiday spirit. Wish it would be a bit longer, but otherwise highly recommend this book and author.

Another sweet Christmas read! This story was truly a second-chance romance, and it kept me interested and going even though it’s after the holiday season now.

Rick and Sally were both fun characters that were easy to connect with. I really loved how they are both complete opposites of each other, yet they found a way to work together.

This was another great addition to the Second Chance at Star In series, and I must say that if your looking for a quick, enjoyable HEA book, then you should check this one out! (Especially if your like me and not ready to say goodbye to Christmas just yet!)
