Another Bound Hearts novel hits the right spot. Intense Pleasure is a brand new MFM romance from author Lora Leigh intense-pleasureand is guaranteed to heat your kindle. I discovered this series by accident. My introduction to the Bound Hearts series started with Only Pleasure. What I love about the books in the series is the titles and the book covers do not scream SPOILER ALERT: HOT MFM Ménage Romance.

With the latest installment, Samantha is a southern girl with deep Georgia roots. While the dialogue is great, I tend to stay away from stories with “southern slang” However, if you have no problems with “fixin” for example, the dialogue will not impact your reading pleasure.

Intense Pleasure packs a whole lotta hot and steamy sex to titillate the body parts. If you like your romance with a hint of suspense and a little bit, ok… a lot, of ménage romance centered on the woman, Intense Pleasure is the book for you.

Lora Leigh has created a delicious tale of secrets and forbidden yearning. Falcon and Raeg are brothers and heroes to inspire sinful dreams while Samantha is a kick ass ex CIA operative who is not afraid to walk away from the love of a lifetime – if needed. I enjoyed every scrumptious chapter.

I liked the story as well as the characters and the sex was steamy. The drama was a bit over the top for me. However, that will not keep me from continuing to read this amazing series. I liked it.

Man, Lora Leigh knows how to write steamy romance yet suspense plot that keeps the reader captivated. Intense Pleasure is standalone read but it can be read in the series too.
Intense Pleasure starts off with Summer facing her personal consequences when she believed a friend who was evil beyond means. But things take some changing when she disappear from the covet life.
Summer is a beautiful yet intelligent women that she can take care of her self no matter what. But lately she has been questioning her loyalty to friends that she is beginning to realize that she wants out of the covet life and start new. But her past is catching up with her that she will need help from the two sexy covet friends, Falcone and Raeg. Falcone and Raeg are half brother that often shared women but lately they have been craving for Summer and they get the chance when she needs their help since the past is catching up.
However, nothing is never easy when couple get together. Things are going to get very crazy but it will take those three to make it work for their love. It may be challenging for them since they both have baggage to face but it takes the strongest to make it work afterall.
Intense pleasure is another fantastic sexy read that it will lighten you day especially the sexy scenes. Four Stars!

This book was OK. Sometimes I really liked it and sometimes I just out right hated it. I think this will probably be the last ménage story that I read because I just can't seem to get myself completely into them. I can't wrap my head around a long term relationship that contains three people. If that's your thing then more power to you. The book was mostly well written. However, there were times when I was cringing just because the story seemed to be too silly and unrealistic. I really only liked one of the lead characters because he seem to be the most balanced out of all of them. The story was somewhat suspenseful and I have to say that I did enjoy the ending and the little twist thrown in. It was definitely a steamy read. If you're into steamy ménage stories with a little bit of suspense then this is right up your alley. I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

I have very mixed feelings about this book....really about this series.
The first thing that needs to be addressed is that, imo, of all the books in this series, this is NOT a standalone. There are WAY too many references of people in the series and if you havent read them all then I can see how this book would be DNF'd before you hit the 25% mark.
The second thing is I think I've really lost 'that love and feeling' for this series. The previous 2 books were only 2 star reads for me and this one barely made it to 3 stars. Honestly, I think it's time to lay this series to rest and start something new. Lora Leigh is an excellent author but this series is just not doing it for me any more ....

Lora Leigh can definitely write some very steamy romance novels. This book has two men craving the one woman neither think they can have. Both men, Falcon and Raeg, have know Summer for years, working with her for the last few years in security. Both men are known as ladies' men. After a close call on a job, Summer decides she has had enough and is going home to Georgia and her family. Falcon and Raeg race to find Summer when they discover that her last case is not over; she now has a target on her back. As they provide security for Summer until the threat is over, the three of them unleash the feelings they have for each other.

I enjoyed reading the book very much, as I have other books by this author. The author keeps fast paced storyline along with the steamy romance, dealing with various emotions of the characters involved. I actually read this book in one sitting, I could not put it down.

I enjoyed this book very much. The relationships between the characters was a lot of fun, but I would have liked more depth to all of the 3 main characters. The sex was hot! Overall a fun read with a good story.

Ménage romance is my “go to” escape from reality and all that real world stuff that goes along with it… <i>Intense Pleasure</i> was a decadent escape. It’s book 14 in the <i>Bound Hearts</i> series and while it is a stand-alone book, I really wish I’d been reading the series all along. There are spoilers from previous books and the characters have had what appears to be significant roles in those previous books.

With that said, I did really enjoy my time spent with Summer, Falcone and Raeg. I loved how Summer’s “real” personality shone when she was home with her family and friends. It was very fun to see Falcone and Raeg readjust their knowledge of kick-ass CIA agent Summer with the Summer before them.

Summer is a born and bred southern lady. One who puts family first and one who’d never discuss the more “tawdry” parts of life with her parents and siblings. But what happens behind closed doors is sinfully delicious—especially under the spell woven by Falcone and Raeg. It’s hot, dirty and oh so very sexy when the three of them get together.

I really enjoyed the interaction between Summer, Falcone and Raeg. I couldn’t help but root for them to get their acts together and realize that together they were so much more than who they were separately. I also adored Summer’s family and their protective natures—and their not so blind eye to the realities of the world around them.

I’m hoping to eventually read all the of the books in the series—there were so many characters and innuendos to follow—I want to know what they all mean!

I am giving this two different ratings, for two different types of readers.....

Intense Pleasure is part of Lora Leigh's Bound Heart series which features ménage M/F/M. If you're ok with that, this is a good book. Not great, but it is good, and even though I am going to list some (to me ) major cons, I do recommend this book and I'll explain if you can stick with me, in a bit of a lengthy review...

Intense Pleasure features the story of Summer, Falcone and Raeg, who are brothers. This is ménage themed erotica, and a pro for me was that she is attracted to both Falcon and Raeg, and a relationship with both of them is developing. That's my favorite type of ménage. When it's a true romance with all three, vs just a couple that seek a "third" almost casually. It's smoking hot and very erotic at times, but I'll warn you, you'll have to get through many wordy pages at first that feature a convoluted story that is carried over from previous books. I suppose you could read this as a standalone, but it was hard to follow/get into the story, and I've read the previous books, just in my opinion.

A huge con for me, that I am taking away an entire star for, and why there's two different ratings, is the similarity to basically ALL her books the past years.

I am invested in this author. I've read every book in this series, and most (but not all) in her others other series, and it is the EXACT same MO she's been up to. I've said it before, I'll say it again, she has a very clear outline used for every book, no matter the series, which is as follows; love interests meet off page and have known each other for years, resist their attraction for nonsensical reasons, then a traumatic event happens, kidnapping/shooting/stalker (or something happens to that effect) where they must come together for again, nonsensical reasons....

Same outline. Every book. With out fail.... And I will say it like it is even though it's harsh...Pure laziness by the author!!!

To a reader that's new to this author, it's no big deal. You haven't read book after book so it's new to you....to us long time readers? It makes me lose interest (hence why I no longer read all her books) it gets old and predictable and it really makes no sense to keep purchasing, as you can just reread any book she has and change the names in your own head.....

I can trace this back, just off the top of my head, to Tanners Scheme in her breed series....that's with out putting any thought or research into it so it could be even farther back!.... Both having them meet off page so she doesn't have to build up a romance for the reader (you're just expected to believe there's chemistry and attraction because you're told it's there) and also never having to think of a new and refreshing plot or summary, is laziness.

But again, I do recommend Intense Pleasure to MFM ménage fans and erotic readers, I loved how the three of them were working on a relationship with all of them, I loved the intimacy scenes and I was able to put the similarities aside for a good portion of the book. And if you're new to Ms. Leigh I would rate this book more of a 4 star then 3 star for long time readers.

(I averaged the two ratings to get 3.5 overall....and had to use the laws of averaging and round up since I can't select a half star rating)

Start the new year off with something sexy.

This has always been one of my favorite series and I loved this addition.

This like the others in the series centers around three people, who come together in a menage relationship. In this story we have Summer, Falcone and Raeg who have a tempestuous relationship. Though when Summer is under the threat of an assassin, the brothers come to protect Summer.

This the 14th book in the series and it is not necessary to catch-up read to enjoy this book. I loved the chemistry between these three, the dynamic between Summer and Falcone is so different then the one between her and Raeg that it makes the threesome more interesting. That chemistry is palpable and very sexy to read. I really liked the interactions between between the guys and Summer's father, they were tense and at times fun to read, but exactly what a over-protective father might do and say. I liked that when you think the danger is over there is more to the story and wraps up everything very satisfyingly.

I hope there are more stories to come in this series.

Summer “Belle” Calhoun wants more than what she can have…….

She wants out of the business, she had to kill her best friend, and she is in love with two brothers. One is sweet and the other is the complete opposite.

Raeg wants nothing more than a couple hot steamy nights when it comes to women. He will never let his heart feel love….but he feels the urge to protect Summer…. Then there is Falcon, he is head over heels in love with Summer but he won’t take it to a sexual level….So one won’t love but will…… and the other will love but won’t ……. Are you seeing now why Summer is love with both haha.
Intense Pleasure was an amazing book! I was not able to put my kindle down. This book was so much more than all the steamy parts….ohhhh and there are steamy parts ;) I look forward reading more from Lora!

Lots of very suspensy and very erotic moments until Summer can even think about settling down with one, or even both of her men!

I've read and loved many or Lora's books. Especially those erotic suspense ones!
And I also read pretty much all of those 15 Bound Hearts books, but I was still extremely and hopelessly confused and lost in the beginning of this book. The prologue and the first chapter is just talk about past people and actions and I only understood 25% of everything. So many full pages of words and almost nothing made sense.☺ For me at least. Maybe you'll understand what's what!
It got a bit better once I knew who was who and why we were where we were!☺☺

And it got a LOT better once the sexiness began! PHEW!

We have sooo many mega erotic moments and lots of suspensy moments and frustrating and sad and funny and adorable moments!

I really enjoyed reading this story! It was a bitt too wordy here and there, but I really enjoyed the whole big southern family atmosphere! All those siblings and family members - all of whom have some agent or military background. Adorable!

There were things that I like about this book and things that I didn't like. I liked the characters, but I felt that the story was unbalanced. The story is a love story involving three people. However, one character, Falcon, was given less time in both the amount of time other characters spent thinking or talking about him and in regard to how much of the story was told from his point-of-view. This was disappointing. The previous book involving these characters built up the relationship between Summer and Falcon, so to not feel like that relationship was fully realized created a large problem in the story for me. I felt the relationship between the brothers was not fleshed out as much as I would have liked. Lora Leigh writes fantastic sexual tension and sex scenes. They are hot and are not repetitive, which is fun. I am never let down by her storytelling from that aspect. I do wish that the plots she writes were more developed as most seem very thin. I realize the emphasis is on the relationships in the story, but a good plot assists in revealing those relationships. I felt the pacing of the novel was choppy at times. But, there is something compelling about Lora Leigh's writing that makes me want to keep reading in one sitting. So, I'll keep coming back for more.

"Their weakness."

FINAL DECISION: A menage story, but more than that. This is a great suspense story with some hot sexy moments with two brothers and their fellow agent thrown in.

THE STORY: After years of working as an agent, Summer has had enough. But when her identity is revealed and an enemy intends to eliminate her, two men who worked closely with her for years come to help her. Falcon and Raeg are half-brothers who share their work and their women. Now they want to protect Summer and there is a strong attraction between them all. But Falcon and Raeg have secrets of their own and it might mean that having summer will break the brothers apart.

OPINION: This book is grounded in the suspense story of the man hunting Summer and also the secrets that Falcon and Raeg have. There are two dangerous stories at play here and plenty of action to satisfy readers.

Summer is a complex woman. A longtime agent, she can take care of herself. Yet Falcon and Raeg are surprised by the woman they see when she is with her family. She is sexually attracted to both men and willing to engage in a relationship that many would see as extreme and yet Summer is also entirely emotionally attached to these two men from the beginning. She is hurt by the standoff nature of Raeg. She is also haunted by the necessity of her killing the woman she thought of as her best friend -- even though the woman betrayed Summer and resulted in the enemy who is hunting Summer now.

Falcon is the most approachable of the brothers. Charming and easy going is what people see in him and yet he also possesses a dominant side which comes out with Summer. I loved that Falcon likes brushing Summer's hair. That attribute is so sweet and yet so sexy. He is the more open of the brothers to Summer's allure. Although he wants his brother as part of their relationship, he insists that Raeg be an equal partner and not absent himself emotionally from the relationship.

Raeg is especially haunted by the brothers past. While Falcon can accept that they might not be able to hold Summer forever and yet wants what he can have today, Raeg is afraid of emotionally opening himself up. He is the dark, brooding, jerky brother. His dominance is dark and especially strong. It is his emotional journey which makes up most of the romantic conflict in this story.

The relationship in this book is complex. The two brothers are different and each fulfills something different for Summer. Having a triangle romance emotionally is a difficult enterprise especially where there are secrets and difficulties that the brothers are not revealing. Half of this book is about the developing relationship between the three main characters and the remainder is the suspense story which keeps the plot moving quickly.

The one weakness of this story is that what happened with these characters before the beginning of this book appears central to the connection between these characters (working together and being "friends" for eight years) and yet that building of the relationship is completely absent. Everything happens offstage and thus truly feeling the connection between these characters is more difficult to feel for the first half of the book.

Despite this, I enjoyed this book and it fits right in the Bound Hearts series.

WORTH MENTIONING: This is a MMF romance with an emotional as well as a sexual relationship between each of the men and the woman.

CONNECTED BOOKS: INTENSE PLEASURE is the fourteenth book in the Bound Hearts series, but this book can be read as a standalone.

STAR RATING: I give this book 4 stars.

I haven't read a Lora Leigh book in a while and I have read this series before so I was excited to get back into the series and see where this book could take me. Summer is not all she might seem. She a lot more complex. As a agent she's bad ass and can take care of herself but home with her family in the south she's daddy's little girl. As a agent she's burned out. She's done so she goes home. Falcone and Raeg are brothers who have worked with Summer over the years more Falcon than Raeg. While Falcon has embraced Summer Raeg has always pushed back at her and kept her at arms length. They have done this thinking they are protecting her from their father. Now though she has someone out to kill her and to protect her they have to stay really close to her. Not as easy as it sounds when Summer doesn't want their help and her overprotective family is in their business. I loved her brothers but the rest of the family was a bit annoying and I couldn't relate to her backward old time thinking about her parents. The way Summer bows down to everything her dad says. She's a grown woman not a teenager. Parts of the book I really enjoyed. I like Falcon and Raeg but Raeg got more book time than Falcon. I wanted to see a bit more of Falcon.  I think there should have been more discussion among the three about what was going on but I guess that would have made the book a lot shorter. While I enjoyed Lora Leigh books more in years past they don't seen to hold the same appeal as they used to. I liked Sinful Pleasure well enough but it wasn't good as I had hoped.

We first meet Falcone and his brother Raeg when they are talking About Protecting Summer and her family from a Russian Sociopath..

There is a lot of danger and Alpha male also the book was a amazing serious page turner that will make you forget about doing in the house

I loved reading this book and will read anything the author writes

'Intense Pleasure' by Lora Leigh is part of the Bound Heart series and this is the story of Summer, Falcone and Raeg. In this we see Summer attraction to both brothers: Falcone and Raeg and that it has always been there. Falcone and Raeg have fought their attraction to Summer but now Summer is fighting a deadly threat and they need to protect her or they will lose her , perhaps forever. In this book, there is one brother who fights his attraction to Summer over the other the most and he seems to be the one who doesn’t want to give in to the attraction so we get to read why while they fight who is stalking Summer and protecting her and finding out her secrets. Will Summer let the men in or will she push them further away as she has been pushed away? The passion and the heat is intense and delicious. The suspense and action is fantastic. I really enjoyed myself and am eagerly awaiting to read the next book in the Bound Hearts Series. Lora Leigh did a fabulous job leaving a door open to visit a character in this book , for them to visited down the road. I am psyched to see if that happens.

This was a good read. This story gets your attention right away and keeps it throughout the entire story. The sexual chemistry between these three, as well as the connection they all have, makes the sex scenes quite steamy. Danger brings them all back together, where a BDSM relationship ensues. They have all desired one another for quite a long time and now is finally the right time. There are other secrets going on as well as the danger. They have to jump over all of the obstacles in their lives in order to finally be together and get their HEA. Sometimes as stubborn as three were, I just wanted to smack them with my kindle. It also irritated me somewhat how easily they got away with their bad behavior by having sex, as opposed to apologizing and being forgiven. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.
