Chevy Stevens really brought it with this one! I've read several of her books and loved them, but one of her latest, That Night, was kind of underwhelming for me. I'm glad to see the suspense is back in her latest work.

This book is told in alternating POV's between Lindsey, a mother and domestic abuse survivor, and Sophie, Lindsey's daughter. The book also goes back and forth between present day and to the years that Lindsey was with her ex and slowly learning how dangerous he was.

While a novel with multiple POV's and frequent shifts between past and present can often be confusing, Stevens just kept me wanting to turn the page to see what happens next.

There are several twists and I found them to be successful whether you've seen them coming or not. I'm the type of reader that is constantly analyzing the situation and trying to figure out each plot twist ahead of time. Never Let You Go tricked me a few times.

Either way, this is a fast paced read, and I found myself staying up late to keep reading. Definitely recommend.

I really enjoy Chevy Stevens and have been anxiously awaiting this book. I am so happy I was able to read an advanced copy! As with Stevens' other novels, I stayed up much later than I should have devouring the chapters. The story was engaging and suspenseful and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I kept changing my mind as to who I thought the baddest bad guy was. There were a couple of red herrings along the way that kept things interesting. I will definitely recommend this one!

I'm not even sure I can find the words for this review. This book sucked me in and I couldn't put it down. I didn't see the twist ending coming and even when I thought I figured it out, I doubted myself until the last moment. I was impressed with the insight on a victim of domestic violence and the accurate portrayal of what's going on in her mind. I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to others that enjoy suspense.

Eleven years ago, Lindsey Nash got the Hell out of dodge, when she escaped from her abusive husband. She was able to take her young daughter and leave. Her husband, Andrew, who has been abusing Lindsey for years, attempts to follow her as she escapes with their daughter. In his attempts to catch her, he hits another car, killing the other driver. While her husband is incarcerated, Lindsey is able to start a new life and even a career. She believes everything in her life is good, until the day her ex-husband is released from prison.

When Andrew's release from prison, Lindsey begins to feel like she is being watched, things are moved, her current boyfriend is hit by a truck, someone has been in her home, her dog is poisoned, and there is a sens of unease in the air. To top off the stress her teenage daughter is in a "relationship" herself which Lindsey does not feel quite right about as the teen reminds her of her ex-husband. Sprinkle on the fact, that her daughter has been seeing her father behind her Mother's back. When Lindsey finds this out, her stress and worries double.

Andrew, for his part, claims he is a changed man. He wants to re-build a relationship with his daughter. He wants to make nice with his ex-wife. He claims that he has not done anything wrong. He is trying to be a better man. But has he changed? Is he Innocent? Could there be someone else who wants to stir the hornet's nest?

This book was a real page turner for me. I really enjoyed it and looked forward to reading it. I don't want to say anything else about the plot but that there were several twists and turns which kept me guessing and kept the book interesting. While reading the book, I thought "He is the one behind it" only learn I was wrong. Which is a good thing. I love when a writer can surprise me. I LOVE when I am just as SHOCKED as the characters in the book when the REVEAL occurs.

I think this is a book most people would enjoy. Yes, there are a couple of scenes of domestic violence but nothing else is graphic or too over the top in this book. I loved the suspense in this book and how the Author built the suspense until the REVEAL at the end. It was nice to be left wanting more. I love when I get to put my detective hat on while reading!

This was my first Chevy Stevens book but it will not be my last. I am now off to BINGE read some of her other books.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley for my copy of this novel.

Feelings!!! This book made me feel anticipation, sadness, happiness, and suspense. I invested in the characters & was Nancy Drewing it, trying to see if the terror Lindsey & Sophie were going through was Andrew, her horrid ex-husband who had seemingly changed, or any of the men currently in their lives. I was invested in these characters & felt a sadness at the end of the book that there was no more. It was dark, twisty, suspenseful & excellently written.

Never Let You Go by Chevy Stevens is a suspenseful and twisty ride of a tale that will leave you a bit spooked if you're reading it at night while home alone. This book is told in both the present tense as well as flashbacks over the years that Lindsey was married to her controlling and abusive husband, Andrew. Lindsey and her daughter had run and left Andrew in the middle of the night. They've managed to remain hidden from him but now he's found them and won't leave them alone. Lindsey relies on her brother and friends to keep her safe and sane but will they be enough to protect her? Enjoy!

This is the first book I've read by Chevy Stevens and it won't be the last. Throughout the entire read, I was held in suspense. Lindsey and Sophie seems to have a penchant for drawing the wrong men to them. Who's wrong and who's right? You will have to read to find out. Never Let You Go was a suited title. Topics ranged from obsession to forgiveness and everything in between. A superb read and well-crafted fiction. Sometimes you never really know a person so the only person you have to get to know is yourself. Sophie and Lindsey's story had depth. Chevy Stevens crafted this story with the right amount of skill and intrigue to keep you turning/swiping the pages until the end.

Chevy Stevens knows how to get the blood pumping. And, she is a master at creating story that will leave readers on edge from beginning to end. In Never Let You Go, this is no different. With that being said, this is a fantastic novel! It's compelling, thought provoking, and even unexpected in some parts. This is especially true at the end which was dangerously good... Fans of the author and those who enjoy psychological thrillers will want to pick up Stevens' latest novel (releasing in March). That is of course, if you enjoy books that will mess with your mind and leave your mouth gaping open with the surprising twists and turns it has...

ARC requested through Netgalley, and kindly provided by St. Martin's Press in exchange for an honest review.

As expected, I loved this new book by Chevy Stevens! The story is filled with tension, twists and turns and it was hard to put down. I kept thinking I had it figured out and then something would change and I'd have to keep reading to find out what happens next.

Lindsey Nash has finally found peace when she leaves her abusive husband and he is sent to prison. Ten years later Andrew is released and back to his obsessive behavior. She realizes that she and her daughter, Sophie, are both at risk just as she is finally moving on and dating again. Andrew swears that he's changed but Lindsay is convinced he's to blame for some scary occurrences .The story is told between past and present and alternates between Lindsey and Sophie’s point of view which contributes to the suspicion of multiple characters.

Definitely an ending that I didn't see coming! Highly recommended for fans of physiological thrillers!

Lindsey Nash was in a nightmare of a marriage that nearly destroyed her. Ultimately her ex-husband was arrested on an unrelated crime and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. In that time Lindsey and her daughter have started a new life. Having finally found a nice boyfriend, her daughter a high school senior looking at college prospects and a cleaning business that pays her bills, Lindsey is finally happy. Her ex-husband has recently been released from prison and initially Lindsey was hyper-aware of anything and everything, but he hasn't come after her...and then strange things start occurring!!!! Is her ex-husband behind these strange occurrences??!? Does she need to move again?!!? Holy heck!!!!

First off I am kicking myself for having never read Chevy Stevens before!!! Seriously, why the heck did I wait so long?!?? I love a well written mystery/thriller and Ms. Stevens blew me away with this gem!! Every twist and turn was timed perfectly- I honestly never saw most of them coming! My kindle became an extension of my hand because I could put this book down until I finished! Never Let You Go is a solid 5 star read that is a 2017 must read!! The bad news is I didn't want this book to end, but the good news is I am heading to Amazon to 1-click Chevy's prior books pronto!!

Terrifying. Growing up in a house with domestic abuse, Chevy Stevens nailed the tension, pain, fear, anxiety, sadness, and so on experienced via mother and daughter. Ugh. This book's another nail biter!

This was my first Chevy Stevens book, and my first impression is that there is something addicting in her writing. She manages to deliver amazing characters as well as a plot so intriguing, you will not be able put this book down. She had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. Everything is done so beautifully, it's hard not to enjoy it. Her writing allowed me to get into the story in a way that I don't think any book has done in the past.
I am so impressed by it. I don't think there's a person out there that won't enjoy it. And I really look forward to reading the rest of Mrs. Stevens' work.

4 Star review. Review placed on Goodreads.

Another winner by Chevy Stevens; although, this definitely wasn't my favorite of hers. Found it took off fast, but then it slowed down dramatically for me at the end that resulted in it being shelved for me for a bit. Hence, the 4 star review versus my traditional 5 star review for her novels.

Never Let You Go, the latest story by Chevy Stevens should come with a warning: only start when you have the time to read it all! Difficult to put down. It's one of the I'll just read one more chapter books. Soon you are so immersed in the story nothing is going to come between you and this book, you will put your life on hold while you finish reading. Twists and turns and some edge of your seat moments. I think this might be the best story Ms Stevens has written to date. I was given an early copy to review.

Huge thanks to NetGalley for giving me a complimentary ARC copy of Chevy Stevens' new novel NEVER LET YOU GO

When Lindsey marries Andrew, she doesn't realize he will abuse her. Almost worse than the beatings, he psychologically tortures her. If she ever tells, he'll kill her family and run off with their young daughter. On the night she tries to flee with young Sophie, Andrew kills a woman drunk driving and winds up in prison. But, now he's out, determined to get to know his daughter and exact revenge.

I love Chevy Stevens' novels, her engaging writing style and interesting characters. She does a near perfect job subtly showing the manipulation of the abusers, the grooming and enticement, psychological and financial manipulation, the never-again remorse and promises. Both Lindsey and Sophie narrate alternating chapters, so we see the leery, wary adult and the hopeful teenager, on the cusp of womanhood wanting so badly to believe her father had changed.

NEVER LET YOU GO had many twists and turns, some I saw coming, some surprised me. I never saw motive for the Big Event coming.

The resolution of Sophie and her boyfriend's relationship left me feeling uncomfortable, though I understand why Stevens chose to go in the direction she did.

NEVER LET YOU GO is part mystery, part thriller and part character study. I enjoyed the story think a wide variety of readers will too.
