THis book kept me guessing all the way through!! I never suspected who the real culprit was until it was announced!! I thought it totally had to be the ex husband, or the boyfriend, at one point I even thought it was the daughter's bf!! or a stalker!! I totally loved this book an can't wait to read another by this author!!
Another amazing book by Chevy Stevens! She never disappoints! I had a hard time putting this book down to go to sleep at night. Lindsey escapes her abusive and controlling ex-husband with her daughter and starts a new life while he goes away to prison, but then 10 years later he is released and the terror starts up again, the fear and emotions are written so well and it almost makes your skin crawl to put yourself in her shoes, there are several people Lindsey and Sophie are connected to and so you expect a twist but WOW! I didn't see that coming! I'm so grateful to Chevy Stevens, St. Martin's Press and Netgalley for a chance to read an ARC of NEVER LET YOU GO. I'm awestruck again at the genius of Chevy Stevens writing, but then again I love the dark and twisty!
Lindsey thought she had escaped. Just knew it! Then her ex-husband was released from prison. She is being watched..she feels it.
Chevy Stevens is a master at the bob and weave. She always leads you expertly through highs and lows. Lindsey is a character much to be admired. She and her daughter escape an abusive relationship in the middle of the night. She starts her own business and creates a whole new life for herself and her child. She has a boyfriend and a great support group. Then her ex husband turns all of it upside down.
Chevy always adds a twist in her books. I always try to figure them out before it happens. I was oh so close on this one, just didn’t quite make out the connection. There were places in this read I had to stop and catch my breath! This story will almost traumatize you! It takes all your emotions and twists them into knots! This tale moves like a lightening bolt through your brain!
I received this novel from Netgalley for a honest review.
Patrons will like this very readable, likeable mystery.
Thank you St Martin's Press and Netgalley for the preview copy of Never Let You Go. Thank you Chevy Stevens for another fantastic story.
I've loved every Chevy Stevens book to date and Never Let You Go didn't disappoint. From the first page I was hooked. It was a tense read and as usual to Chevy Steven’s style there is a great twist to the story.
I have read every book that Chevy Stevens has put out, and I have never been disappointed! This book was in her classic dark & twisty style. The characters were all very likeable and the plot was intriguing. About 60% of the way through, I had an idea about "who-dunnit" but it was still an awesome read getting to the conclusion. I highly recommend!
Holy moly this book was fantastic! Hang on to your seats Chevy Stevens fans because you are in for one thrilling ride. I'm usually pretty good at figuring out where a book is heading but Ms. Stevens had me going up until the end. It's hard to describe too much without giving spoilers. Let me just say you need to put this on your list for 3/14/17 because it's going to be a great release! Bravo!!
I have read all of Chevy Stevens' books and have loved them all. This is the best yet. She truly has the ability to keep you on the edge of your seat, wanting to keep turning the pages. Never Let you go does indeed keep you held in suspense right up to the end. The end will not disappoint. This is really a book not to miss.

The first Chevy Stevens book I ever read was THOSE GIRLS about a year ago. I was temping at the time, and over the course of a six hour shift folding letters into envelopes, I read the entire book like a maniac. I remember finishing, looking up, and feeling like I just woke up from a dream. I figured it was an anomaly.
It wasn't. NEVER LET YOU GO is similarly can't-put-it-downable, though it also suffers from some of the same issues (primarily, surface-level characterizations). What this book did particularly well-- aside from being addictive-- was accurately portray complex abusive relationships. I found myself reading into characters' words in the same way Lindsey does about her abusive ex-- which makes for a particularly satisfying twist at the end.
If you're into psychological mysteries, Canadian landscapes, and books you can't stop reading, I can't recommend this one enough.
I RECEIVED THIS BOOK FROM NETGALLEY IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW.
Never Let You Go had my heart pounding! Filled with tension and twists and turns, I couldn’t put it down. It’s dark, disturbing, creepy and action packed. It made me so paranoid that one night when I was up late reading, I actually got up to see if someone was in my house. I learned my lesson--this is not a book to be read late at night!
Lindsey Nash fled her abusive husband, Andrew, in order to protect her young daughter, Sophie. Fast-forward eleven years: Andrew is released from prison and Lindsey is convinced that he is going to kill her. Lindsey’s home is broken into and some other creepy stalker like events occur, convincing Lindsey more than ever that Andrew will stop at no end. However, Andrew is adamant that he is a changed man and that someone else is putting Lindsey and Sophie in danger. As you read, you will begin to question all characters. Is Paul really the one going after Lindsey? Or is there someone else trying to hurt her?
The narrative flashes back and forth between past and present and alternates between Lindsey and Sophie’s POV’s, which contributes to shining suspicion on multiple characters.
My only complaint was that ending/reveal turned Never Let You Go into a bit of a lifetime movie
Overall, this was an entertaining enjoyable read--just don’t read late at night if you scare easily!
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
