Sweet, heartfelt story. Loved the connection between Bianca and Ian. I enjoyed their scenes together. The writing was good and I could feel the emotion of the story. There is a dual POV, but Ian’s chapters are mainly in the past. It’s something if I’d know about I’d probably would’ve skipped this book because about half of it is about Ian and another woman. So, that’s not my favorite to read about. I also felt like I needed more from the ending. I still liked the story; just too much of the past for me. An emotional story.

Two different lives collides when Bianca hands a coffee to a stranger...
Bianca just graduated law school with her best friend but loses her in a tragic accident Her friend always knew Bianca needed to explore more than just going back to Texas to become who her Senator parents played out her life suppose to be. After losing her friend, she decided to delay her life by 6 month to live on her own and trying to finish her friends bucket list.
She wanted to experience everything before her deadline so she decided to do what normal person would do, get a job and do yoga. She is slowly coming out of her shell and checking off the bucket list when she buys a cup of coffee to a stranger. But when he comes back next day to return her coffee, they started talking. Both were escaping from their reality and started enjoying each other’s company.
Ian has his tragic past (all his stories are told from 8 years ago) that he is trying to get over and since meeting Bianca slowly changes him as well. Both are slowly learning about each other by making a Thursday as a check off the bucket list day. Ian is trying to help Bianca fulfill the bucket list.
Both knew what they were getting into but it is easier than said. Bianca was grateful to have someone like Ian but she feels he is hiding something from her and pulling away from her every time she is getting closer to him.
Since Bianca’s life has been on public eye for so long, she never knew who Ian really was and she never asked. She just thought he is another regular Joe. But that changed when she finds out Ian is at a same party with someone else and he lied to her. Bianca can’t deal with liars and Ian just became one..
Not only her life was upside down, her free life in New York had an abrupt ending as well. She was whisked off to Texas leaving all the questions behind.
Will Ian pursue Bianca? Can Bianca go back to life that she hated all her life??

It was emotional roller coaster of a story. I read this book out of order but it could be read alone as well. Both had so many common in so many different ways. Ian’s past story really helps with story line and understand Ian. All his bandmates have history of their own and I can’t wait to read about his brother and Rachel.
This had plenty of drama, family, friendship and love/loss.

A sweet, heartfelt romance that will easily steal your heart! This romance had tears springing to my eyes, had my heart melting and touched me all in one. I liked how put together the story was and how the characters were developed. I love a good romance that just touches my heart. And this one DID 100%!

Who knew one book could draw such strong and powerful emotions out of you?!?! This book can and did. All The Ways You Saved Me was nothing short of an emotional ride that I have no regrets getting on.

I fell in love with Jamie's writing from her debut book and she has never let me down since. If anything, she's only surprised me with each book since and this one is my favorite by her so far.

"Anything worth doing is worth taking the time to get it right."

All The Ways You Saved Me is story about growth and finding your place in life. There are so many different facets to this story. Learning from your past, dealing with the death of loved one, not allowing others to dictate your life, etc. And it all just pieces together perfectly..

I love how Jamie tells this story in the present from Bianca's POV and from Ian's past POV. We get to learn about both of them but told in this perspective, it gives us a better and deeper understanding of each character- their best parts, their flaws and everything in between.

"Life doesn't play by the rules."

Jamie wrote this story beautifully. Her writing is flawless and the whole pace of the book is just perfect. Another fantastic book by Jamie Howard!!!

Sorry, couldn't finish reading :(
Something about the characters rubbed me the wrong way....
Thanks for giving me the chance to read it anyway! Highly appreciated.

This story was just okay for me. I think my biggest issue is that from the very beginning the things that happened were meant to be sad and evoke emotion. I knew that I was supposed to be upset but I never really got sad or upset. I needed to feel more of a connection between Bianca and Renee in order to understand how much Renee's death affected her, but I never really got it. I just didn't FEEL enough emotion for the characters or their story.
Then with Ian, I couldn't for the life of me figure out what went wrong for him in his past to make him so closed off but at the same time, I wasn't really interested in finding out. When his past finally did start to become clearer, I only go more annoyed because, frankly, there was too much time given to it and it didn't help me feel anything but more closed off to the idea of Bianca and him getting together.
Most of my issues with this story were due to personal preferences and not writing style or plot holes, so I don't want to discourage anyone from reading it because I think a lot of people will truly enjoy the story. It just wasn't a great one for me.
