I like Ms Ashley's style of writing. She has a haunting style of writing blending romantic suspense with paranormal. Mavis comes back to reconcile with her estranged aunt but she has died under mysterious circumstances. To make matters worse, she begins to fall for a detective, one who doesn't think her theories hold water. A good story with interesting characters and a lot of suspense and romance.
