Tied To His Betrayal is steamy, heart warming story about two people who find their way back to each other after 5 years.
Taylor shows up at her best friend's door after her boyfriend beat her up. Darius tried to let Taylor go 5 years ago but seeing her with bruises on her face, sets off his protective instincts. On top of dealing with his feelings for Taylor, the paparazzi are printing stories about Darius and his friends that they shouldn't know.
I really enjoyed the story as well as the mystery behind the tabloid stories. Can't wait to read the next one!
5 stars!

Bonus you get more on the rest of the HOT men of DC.
This was a story of non stop drama, misunderstanding and betrayal, with a bit of "50 shades of grey" thrown in but underlying it all an immense , unacknowledged love. The conclusion was so emotional that it left me feeling shattered but exhilarated at the same time. A wonderful story.
“Tied to His Betrayal” is the second book in Stacey Kennedy’s spin-off series, Dirty Little Secrets. A second-chance romance, this novel focuses on Darius Bennett and Taylor Erickson, two characters previously introduced in book one, “Bound Beneath Her Pain.”
A wealthy and successful businessman in his own right, Darius is also part of the Dominant’s Council and helps to oversee the four BDSM sex clubs that he and his friends own in San Francisco. Taylor Erickson is the best friend to Darius’ half-sister Allie. She is also the only woman that Darius has ever loved. But years earlier, Darius broke Taylor’s heart by pushing her away and out of his life. Now, suffering from the repercussions of an abusive relationship, Taylor returns to San Francisco in search of a new start.
Despite the passage of time, Darius has never stopped loving Taylor. Sure, he’s slept with his fair share of women, but all have paled in comparison to the woman he let get away. So when a bruised and battered Taylor shows up on Allie’s doorstep, Darius’ protective instincts immediately kick in. But just as the couple start to reconnect, the local tabloids start targeting Darius. Now Darius must figure out a way to keep Taylor safe from the inevitable fallout that comes from being linked to him publicly.
Unquestionably, “Tied to His Betrayal” is a steamy, passionate read. But Darius and Taylor’s story is also comprised of sweet, emotional moments that’s sure to melt your heart. For years, Darius has safeguarded a secret—a secret that’s absolute proof of his undying love for Taylor. If I hadn’t already fallen hard for Darius prior to this reveal, that alone would have pushed me over the edge.
Stacey Kennedy writes sexy stories with well developed, endearing characters that never disappoint—this one included. I can hardly wait to discover what she has in store for Ryder!
I love second chance love and I love that Darius learns that how his choice of the past affected Taylor and the choices she makes as well. Though she learns a lot from her mistake and finds out that she is a much stronger person then she thinks. I think I know though who is the person who is trying to hurt the DC, but will have to wait until the next book to figure it out.
This one just didn't do anything for me. I found Darius two dimensional and Taylor an incredibly weak heroine. I felt the story line was rushed and that the sex scenes were used as filler. I usually enjoy Kennedy's writing so I was disappointed in this one.
Great book! Really enjoyed the characters! I will look for other books from this author!
Second in Stacey Kennedy's Dirty Little Secrets series, Tied To His Betrayal is fast-paced and packed with passion. This story stands alone perfectly, though reading Bound Beneath His Pain, the first book in the series will help with context.
Both Darius and Taylor are strong characters in their own right and together they really pack a punch.
While they are definitely the focus of this story, I liked that there were a couple of other sub-plots floating around in the background. The added complexity makes this a really well-rounded book and I look forward to the next in the series.

When you think of a Dom, you think of a strong, intense, controlling man who knows what he wants. Darius is that and so much more. The vulnerability the author created in him made him more likable and relatable for me. Yes, it goes against the “norm”. However, it’s a different dynamic for a man of power, wealth, and strength.
At first I found it unbelievable that Darius would push Taylor away because of their age difference. But, the more and more I read and the more I got to know his back story, the more I understood his reluctance and instinct to protect the ones he loves. And Darius does love Taylor in his own way. He just doesn’t want her to hurt like the other women in his life have.
I love a rekindling romance between past lovers. The fact that Darius is Alex’s brother and Taylor is her best friend made the dynamic that much more enjoyable! I adore Stacey Kennedy’s writing and Tied to His Betrayal did not let me down! Another winner from her!
