I couldn't get into this book. It read as an autobiography almost. Too much personal thoughts and not enough conversations and interactions with characters.
Into my silhouette by Becca Noire is a romance and erotica read.
Becca Noire wants something more from life. Divorced and about to become an Empty-Nester, she never expects her quest to reclaim her own life will lead her down such a dangerous path. All she wanted was to start the search for Mr. Right.
Enter John, who sweeps her off her feet. Mysterious, handsome, commanding, he introduces her to a world where she can finally indulge her sexual fantasies with no shame. Becca thinks she has found it all …
Absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. I loved Becca and John. I hated Robert. I felt many emotions while reading this book. Highly recommended. 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.
I could not put this book down, literally. This story had me so engrossed in Becca's life. I felt I was changing right along with her. I loved that she was strong enough to explore her new being. I felt that it ended abruptly though. I wanted more. I felt like her new best friend just ditched her for no apparent reason. That is my only complaint. Very well written. Just so captivating.
not as "noire" as yhou might think it to be. The book started out interestingly enough, and had some intrigue in the mid section of it, but the ending? For those who like the BDSM genre, it would be disappointingand the ending (and I won't say what just sort of abruptly ties things up. .surely the author could have come to a more fitting and less "prim" conclusion. I liked it but I thought it needed some editing.
