I really stuggled. I love poetry and realize it is a very personal thing. Right now I'm just not feeling it.

The poems even though were written very well, I couldn’t connect with them or enjoy them as I would loved to have, I generally enjoy reading poems but unfortunately this wasn’t my cup of tea.

I really enjoyed this collection. It touched on many topics, some significant, some seemingly trivial, but all thought provoking. A good read if you enjoy poetry.

This book of poetry wasn't really my cup of tea. In the introduction, the author states she wrote in rhythmic lyrical contempo cadence or, as she has trademarked Versery Rhymes. Personally, I feel like the rhyming was a bit elementary and almost abrasive when read. I would have preferred a collection of free verse poetry or even short stories and forego the rhyming altogether. I'm sorry this one didn't hit the mark as I feel like it had the potential to be a lot more.
