What I thought would be a suspense only read, surprised me with a deeper message. Yes there is a murder mystery to solve...which was quite a surprising "who done it"...but the underlying message of Blake's determination and struggles working in a male dominated law environment added a very touching aspect to the overall story. I enjoyed the cast of characters and was drawn in quickly trying to solve the murders...I especially enjoyed the way the author laid out the story.
