Good seasonal ring to add to your holiday collection. Will be one to take out each year and add to your traditions

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is a delightful month-long foray into enjoying every component of Christmas. I loved re-reading the various components of the Christmas story! The book blends each element into a delightfully cohesive whole over the course of the month.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the recipes (both food and otherwise). Good for Collins in breaking the stereotypes - much of this I did not expect from a male author!

The devotional covers the entire month of December and definitely builds excitement for Christmas throughout. Take behind-the-scenes looks at well-known Christmas carols and get inspiration for thoughtful homemade gifts and treats for any occasion.

I received a free copy of the book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Each day in December, read a history of Christmas carols and movies along with a brief devotional. Each day includes a recipe or a craft. I’m looking forward to testing the recipes for lime foot scrub and sugarplum cookies this year.

This Christmas devotional is unique due to its historical accounts. I learned new and encouraging stories about familiar hymns and carols. I also enjoyed the author’s lighthearted voice. If you’re looking for a light, cheerful Christmas devotional, this one is a good pick.
