Namaste!
I love Mila and Atlas story. Quick hot read. I'm a huge fan of this author
Thanks Netgalley for the Arc
This is the third book in this series however they can be read as standalone books. This is the first book I have read by Audrey and loved it. This book is about two yoga instructors that have dream jobs they are trying to launch. Mila and Atlas both didn’t have the best of childhoods and it has affected how they handle relationships or how they don’t handle them. Atlas and Mila have a love hate sort of relationship. They snap and bite at each other. Atlas knew before he formally met Mila that he was attracted to her. He knew that she would take some convincing to agree to be with him. Mila was instantly attracted to Atlas when she met him however if she isn’t working at the Lotus House than she is working on her painting. She doesn’t have time for a man especially Atlas. She has a feeling that being with him would be more than scratching an itch. This book had me hooked right from the beginning. Mila and Atlas are great characters. They go through such a change in the book. They open themselves up to what might be despite what their past experiences. Atlas is a bit more willing to express his feelings then Mila. I think it is fear that keeps Mila from expressing how she feels. I can’t say enough how much I enjoyed this book. I haven’t read the other books in this series but I have put them on my TBR list. I look forward to read more books by Audrey in the future.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.
DNF I couldn’t get past 30% of this one. Thanks for the chance to read, but not for me.
I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
Divine Desire is the third book in the Lotus House series but can be read as a stand alone.
In no way shape or form was Mila Mercado wanting to meet a man. It would totally interfere with her plans - her life. She definitely didn't want to have anything to do with the new guy - Atlas Powers. So when her bosses asked her to sit in on his new class and give them her professional observation she couldn't say no. She just had to remember to stand firm and not give in to his charm.
Atlas was determined to get Mila to see him. Really see him. He made it difficult for her to not notice too! I really enjoyed their interaction and his ability to get her to do things she never wanted to actually do. Would you say he's a sweet talker? HA!
If you like a love story with a little bit of conflict this book is one you should pick up. Audrey Carlan writes so fluidly you can see what's happening with her characters as you read through the story.
I fell in love with this book from the beginning. Milo and Atlas couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Loved their bickering, the sexual tension between them and the complexity of the overall story. Though this is the third book of the series, it can be read as a standalone. After doing so I went back and bought the first two.
