I love this story so much ! Jane Eyre is a marvelous narrative, with such a strong female main character and an inspirational message for life. Brilliant!
Love the artwork.
This follows more along the book version then the movie in my opinion p.
This manga version of Jane Eyre is a great way to enjoy a classic.
Manga Classic that was written with education in mind. There are all kinds of steps taken to help students best understand the story. For me the story was a little long and boring, but this was a good adaptation of the book. I had not read it before the manga. The art was cute and I loved all the extra facts and bonus material.

I had never thought to consume a classic in this format before and I found it to be very interesting as well as refreshing. It makes the story easily digestible and gives more visual readers something to see when they are trying to digest the story. Overall this was a fantastic setup for reading a classic and I can’t wait to get my hands on some more.

This is good if you want to get a gist of the original story without the extra pages. The illustrations were okay. My main issue was that the book had a very dull tone. I was never fully invested in the story. The beginning was very slow. There were a few interesting parts. However, the writing wasn't particularly interesting.
The romance was insta-lovey and random. I didn't like the way Jane was portrayed. Overall, the story just wasn't for me.

Jane thought Mr. Rochester was ugly and didn't like him or his money. Then, all of the sudden, she ran out of choices to make. Proceeds to go back to him and finds he lost his hand, an eye, & his eye-site. His mansion also got burnt. All of a sudden he is attractive and she marries him. Seems like a little bit of a power trip to me.
This manga wasn't very accessible as an e-book but after reading it backwards and upside down ;) I enjoyed this retelling of Jane Eyre. The odd thing was that in the book the characters both call themselves "plain" and "ugly" but they're drawn in the manga style so of course they are gorgeous ;) I also enjoyed the author's addition of her process of creating the manga version, and the history of aspects of their lives in England at that time (for example, the role of a governess). All in all it was an novel version of a book I really enjoy.
This is my first time reading a novel/classic to manga adaptation and I must say, it was a fun experience! I enjoyed the original novel and found this did it justice quite nicely. The art is clear and engaging, and I really couldn't have asked for more.
Short and sweet review for this one, I would definitely recommend this for those who enjoy the original novel, manga, or those who maybe struggle to get through classics but still would like to check out the story! I'd be interested in reading other books in this series in the future.

Manga and/or graphic novels aren't for everyone but I thoroughly enjoyed this adaptation of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. The art is beautiful and fun and the artist stays pretty true to the story. I liked the explanation of how Manga is read and the pencil sketch of the character designs. I felt as though a little bit of the story is lost to make it easier for the artist, but nothing major is left out. Overall this was a fun and refreshing read!
This did a pretty great job at sticking to the story and giving such beautiful details to the characters and world. I think this was well done.
The art style was really well done in this version and I found this format was able to portray the darkness of the story in an interesting way.
Thanks to Netgalley and the Publisher for the review copy. My opinions are my own.
Well, I have to say, this manga was very nicely put together and the story was solid, adapted from the original "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Brontë. It kept me on my toes to know what will happen next. The visuals are beautiful. The characters are well thought of.
This books keeps a reader hooked by having engaging storyline, characters, the backgrounds and the characters themselves. The artist who made this should be given so much credit on making so much expressions being shown in the manga. The artist has also put very effort to make this manga work and it absolutely works. Its shining through the roof in its simplicity and that's lovely to see, putting a hit novel into manga and it makes total sense as well.
The categories I'll put this manga are in: sadness, mystery, romance, you-reap-what-you-sow, character development.
Though some things were predictable, some were astonishing, "I still go like how did that even happen in the first place?".
For the protagonist, I like her, single minded and making the most of life by learning through her experiences and making the right decisions as she can.
The other side characters were nice too, just I find some loopholes in some characters but it was still ok but then I find loopholes in the story too but for a nice reading it is good and if you're a fan of "Jane Eyre", you should give this a shot, the pictorial representation is lovely.
‘Jane Eyre’ is one of my all-time favorite novels, and this manga version is completely gorgeous and perfectly done. Highly recommend!

I’ve never really gotten along with classics very well but I’ve always wanted to know what happens in some of the most popular classics, so when I heard about the manga classics, I immediately hopped on the opportunity to read one. Jane Eyre was definitely a great place to start with the manga classics and I can’t wait to read more of them.
I could not stop reading this manga. I was soaking in the details on every page as I read it. The illustrations were beautiful and the story was extremely interesting.
Jane was a great protagonist. She went through so much, but she was resilient through it all and she was a kind soul who had a positive impact on all the people she interacted with. Her story started off as somewhat of a Cinderella step-family story, but she became so much more than just a neglected child by the end of her journey.
The romance was my favorite part of this manga. It was swoonworthy and beautiful. There was so much tension built into the romance that made me unsure of the couple’s fate.
A lot of my praises were for the story as a whole, but I need to also praise the people who adapted this story into this manga format. I’ve had to read my fair share of classics and nearly all of them are dull and written in a complicated old English. It takes a skilled creator to make a classic story into one that I actually enjoy, so the creators of this manga did an incredible job.
Overall I highly recommend this manga to everyone. Don’t be afraid to pick up a manga classic if you aren’t into classics. I’m sure everyone can find something that they like about them. Oh, and it’s also worth noting that there’s some analysis of the story as a whole at the end of this manga. If you are studying Jane Eyre for school, I’m sure this manga and the analysis at the end will be beneficial to you.
I thoroughly enjoyed this Manga take on the classic Jane Eyre. The artwork was beautiful and really bright the storyline to life!

Thank you to NetGalley for the chance to read and review this.
I find the manga versions of classics an accessible way to get through a story that may be difficult to read. I really enjoyed this version of Jane Eyre.
Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book! The title and this beautiful cover drew me in and i was excited to read this book! I will be recommending this book to others for readers advisory
Thank you to the publisher for sending me a free e-arc in exchange for an honest review. I realized that I don't like manga! I found this boring and hard to follow. This was defiantly a me thing and not the book as I don't like classics much. This wasn't for me. I wasn't the right reader for this book.
I enjoyed this manga adaptation of the classic Jane Eyre. It followed the classic story quite well. The illustrations were fun to follow with the story.
I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinion.
There is something a bit jarring about seeing a classic story like this in a Manga format, but it's also a wonderful way to connect this story to reluctant readers, or just people who want to read it the story with a fun new visual element to it. I can't be mad at something that gets kids reading.
Received a digital ARC of this book via NetGalley.
I love Jane Eyre and Charlotte Bronte. So, when I saw that there was a manga retelling, I had to read it. I fell in love with Jane Eyre all over again. These manga classics are great for refreshers of classics and will be good for reluctant readers to experience the classics.
