What a beautifully written and heartwarming read. The characters of Miles and Stephanie are relatable, lovable and easy to connect with. This is the second in the series and I will be looking forward to reading more.

It's a sweet contemporary romance novel where two friends find a happily ever after. This is the type of book that will put a smile on your face. There are enough heartwarming moments to make anyone happy. The chemistry between Miles and Stephanie is amazing and it feels that they fit together. What took them so long to realize it is anyone's guess. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this beautifully written "friends to lovers" romance and would recommend it to my fellow readers.

Stephanie has been put through the wringer by the press because of her husband's infidelity. She heads home to Michigan for a job interview and a chance at a new life. But she stubbles into a huge part of her old life -- her best friend and first love, Miles. They rekindle their friendship and begin to experiment with a little more, but it gets difficult to work things out. Fortunately, they have lots of family and friends to help out.

The story of Stephanie and Miles. She is back in town after leaving her cheating ex. A fake engagement will help them both out, but the lines begin to blur. Do they have a chance to be together now, or will he be leaving town as planned?

Looking forward to reading the other books in this series.

This book has been sitting in my Netgalley que for literally years. Sometimes life gets chaotic (lets be honest- that’s more often than not these days) and this book as well as some others just fell by the wayside. I’m a little disappointed in myself that I didn’t get to it sooner because it was so cute. I really enjoyed myself while reading Miles and Stephanie’s love story.

Childhood best friends, Stephanie and Miles grew apart as they grew up and grew older. Stephanie married a famous golf pro and moved out of town and Miles stayed behind to help with his families inn. When Stephanie very publicly finds out that her husband is cheating on her, she returns home to interview for a new job. Who does she run into almost immediately? You guessed it- Miles. Known for being a playboy, Miles has stayed single and has been very successful in helping restore his families Inn to a profitable business. The friendship and chemistry between these two is really cute. I enjoyed their banter and Miles’ endearing side. I didn’t realize until the end that this was a series and was book 2. I have actually already downloaded the first and third book to continue on. The town and the characters are very enjoyable and it was an easy book to get into.

Cute friends to lovers romance! Miles and Stephanie are childhood friends sho drifted apart after she got married. Miles has a reputation for being a playboy, but that's only because he lost his chance with the only woman he ever loved - Stephanie. Now that she's back in town, old feelings resurface and soon pretend relationship is all too real. It was a quick read and perfect for an afternoon if you're looking fore something light.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I was not compensated for this review, all conclusions are my own.

I couldn't get into this couple as much as I wanted. It was cute, but didn't hook me. The fake fiancee troupe seemed a bit light, that wasn't what brought them together. Just an ok read for me.

DNF - this book was really slow and I couldn't finish it. I put it down for a bit and planned to come back to it later but I still couldn't get into it so it's a DNF.
