I have loved all of Jennifer Moore's historical romance novels until now. I just could not get into this one.

I found this to be a really interesting story and not at all what I expected. I love the adventure and the feminist ideas. I also loved that the idea for the book is based on true history.

I love that Netgalley had this on their website. The book started off with characters that we recognize from other books and introduces new characters that we come to love. The author, the reader could tell, really researched the Greek culture and customs. There were even real true historical figures included in the novel. We all find ourselves at different places at different times in our lives. Miss Snow never quite felt like she fit until she found herself among people who treated her like family. Slowly her heart started to unfold and blossom into true feelings that could not be contained. She just had to let herself go. I hope that the author had her next book maybe about Elena or maybe Miss Campbell, or maybe Elena. I love this author.
