Not my favorite Die book, but I still enjoyed immensely. I glad the baby is finally here , with the books spread out it seemed like he would never arrive . Fast paced , full of twists and turns and a very surprising ending . It's always fun to visit Grizzley Falls where murder and serial killers abound . Maybe it's the long cold winters that attract all the killers , who knows, but Ms. Jackson does a wonderful job telling their story . Lisa Jackson paints such a vivid picture I almost need a blanket to keep warm when the characters are out investigating in the cold wind and snow . Hoping for #8 in this series .

Detective Regan Pescoli is days away from maternity leave when her daughter, Bianca,
is chased in the woods and falls upon a decaying body during a teenage game of chase.
Thinking she was chased by a monster, stories of Big foot soon take over the media. Another murder and the arrival f a reality show turns the town into chaos and makes it hard to discover the truth.
There was a lot of suspense with the teens hiding secrets and the parents uncooperative,
and as Regans ex, Bianca's father with fame and fortune in his eyes was a total moron. There were a lot of
characters to keep straight but that added to the suspense. They all had an integral part
to the story. I loved the passion Pescoli had for the case but was able to drop it all
for her family. A great ending that left my emotions relaxed and satisfied. Definitely recommend
this book to others.

Regan Pescoli is a deputy in Grizzly Falls. She will be going out on maternity leave any day. Her daughter Bianca is out with a group of teenagers playing a game of hide and seek in the woods when something or someone starts chasing her. Bianca gets away but trips over a decomposing body. This starts a murder investigation and soon more are dead. Bianca's terrifying run thru the woods also starts rumors of a Bigfoot in the area. The local Bigfoot club gets a reality show producer to come to the area to produce a show staring Bianca over Regans objections.

This is part of a series but could be read alone. The story jumps around so you have to pay attention. Also there are a lot of suspects to keep track of and keep straight. Bianca is a bit of a brat and Regans ex husband is a jerk. Any book by Jackson is a good read but this was not my favorite. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

Excellent book by Lisa Jackson who is one of my favourite authors, in which Detectives Pescoli and Alvarez hunt for a killer.. This book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

I love everything she has written. Love following the characters through the time line and watching their family grow. Very good mystery and hard to figure who did it

Detective Regan Pescoli is counting down the days until she will go on maternity leave. Meanwhile she and her partner, Detective Selena Alvarez, continue to work their cases. Their latest case happens to involve Pescoli's daughter Brianna who thinks she was attacked by big foot while she and her friends were out playing pranks and she comes upon a dead body. More dead bodies turn up. Amid this investigation a reality TV crew shows up to film a reality show based on big foot. So now the detectives have to contend with this TV crew while they are trying to solve these murders. Brianna will come to a very hurtful discovery during all of this.

https://s2.netgalley.com/Detective Regan Pescoli is counting the days until her maternity leave. The last thing the exhausted cop needs is another serial killer loose in Grizzly Falls. Things go from bad to worse when her daughter gets involved and a reality TV series comes to town. What else could go wrong? All the ugly rumors and innuendo swirling around the case are making it even harder for Regan and her partner, Selena, to separate fact from fiction. When another body is found, it’s clear that this killer is not taking a leave, maternity or otherwise. Jackson can always be counted on to deliver high-octane suspense with tough, realistic female leads
