At first blush, this was an appeal for donations--worthy but still. I tried to step into the author's shoes for a different perspective and found a delightful story unfolding. The author has reached out to a different group of listeners about how animals save people--the King Kong effect with horses. Each mini-story speaks very clearly and loudly of love beyond the common. I highly recommend this book to any reader of any age or nationality.

This book was not as good as I expected it to be. I felt like it was drawn out. I coudn't get into reading this book with a passion even though I wanted to.
