1 Questions has two main characters. Kenya Davis has a very good career, and is known in business circles for her ability to find perfect employees. She, however, has had no luck with finding a perfect mate. She is intrigued by handsome Simone Bailey, a bartender at one of the top nightclubs in South Beach. When Simone is not bar tending she is pursuing her musical ambitions, and having some success. Kenya and Simone meet when Simone mixes Kenya a drink. Simone proposes that Kenya, over time, answer twenty-one questions as they get to know each other. What follows are some romantic ups and downs, and two very well developed, and well rounded interesting characters.

This is the first time I read Yolanda Wallace's work under the pen name Mason Dixon and I was not disappointed. However, it is not my favourite among her many books.

I liked the idea of the 21 questions that Simone asked Kenya. I think I would've enjoyed the book more if it involved the main pairing more rather than Kenya being in the wrong relationship for most of the book.

Kenya and Simone were likable characters, although for the life of me, I couldn't get why Kenya couldn't see Mackenzie for what she truly was. I did not like Mackenzie's character at all and I thought Reagan was a nice character addition.
