Stunning memoir that seamlessly weaves together a life filled with rich cultural and historic detail from the 'golden age' of fashion and film. I was utterly captivated by Buck's disarmingly honest perspective on the relationships between fashion and media, and the realities of behind-the-scenes publishing drama. One of those rare books for which I was genuinely sorry to reach the final page.
