Wow!!! Bella Jewel has create a suspenseful romance novel that is so fast paced, I finished 72 hours in just one day!! Ms. Jewel has stepped outside her box with this book, and it completely worked!!! 72 Hours has most definitely put a new spin on the second chance romance premise by adding in a side of psychological torment!! From the synopsis alone, I knew that I was in for a wild ride, but believe me when I tell you that you'll need to buckle up for safety!! 72 hours is a 4.5 star novel that is completely original and unlike anything I've ever read--loved that!! I am very excited to see where Bella Jewel will take this series in the future!

A serial killer has chosen Noah and Lara to play his sick game with him. He has kidnapped them and dumped them in a wooded area with no way out. Noah and Lara have to decide whether they are going to fight together or fight each other. Never did this killer expect them to work together and become closer than they ever were before. They are given 72 hours to find their way out of the hell he has created for them and if they don't then he will begin his hunt for them.
I really loved this book and theres never a dull moment in this story. It grips you from the beginning and definitely keeps you turning pages just waiting and wondering whats going to happen next! It becomes such a story of strength for both Noah and Lara and you can't help but fall in love with them. I can't praise this book enough. Congrats to Bella Jewel for another amazing read!!!

72 Hours is the 23rd book I read by Bella Jewel, after reading that many books I am familiair with her writing style. When I saw that she wrote a Romantic Suspense (RS) book, it really intrigued me to pick it up. Back in the day I read and devoured a lot of RS books, so I know it is a genre I really enjoy. Bella's writing is very easy to follow and has a great flow, it is very smooth. I especially loved that this book was a second chance romance, because that is one of my favorite book tropes. The setting of the book was original, the main characters Noah and Lara were kidnapped and dropped off in a forest middle of nowhere. They were given 72 hours to find a way out/prepare themselves before the sadistic madman would start hunting them.

Now for the things I liked less. Firstly, the length of the story was in my opinion short and it was fast-paced, which made it difficult for me to completely connect to the characters. I did love that the author included a couple of short flashbacks, because that gave a good view into Noah and Lara's previous relationship and why they broke up. Also the reason they broke up was very cliche, it shows again why communication is very important and you shouldn't just assume things.

I was glad that the suspense element was highlighted. There are many Romantic Suspense books that are 25% suspense and 75% romance. Which in my opinion is just a Romance book. But for this book it was pretty even, maybe slightly more suspense (which I love!). However I didn't like the villain that much, at times he came across as an amateur and other times as a calculated killer. But I think that is probably because of my knowledge of some really messed up, evil and very skilled killers. So my expectations were a bit higher for the villain. Overall a very solid Romantic Suspense story and I hope the author will write more books in this genre.

Lara is broken after an incident takes away a loved one, she was once a confident and out-spoken woman, and now she doesn't know who she is anymore. So, when she see's her boyfriend Noah in a compromising situation, she flees from him and their relationship.

Noah just wants Lara to let him explain what happened, he loved her and stood by her when she was at her lowest, and hopes she can see in herself what he has always seen.

But while Noah works to get Lara back, someone is watching in the shadows, and planning. The next 72 hours will be difficult for them both.

I enjoyed this suspenseful, dark book. While the story moved really fast, it was well written, well planned and thought out and moved at a perfect pace. I would love to say more, but will not risk spoiling it! Great read.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest and unbiased opinion.

Dropped in the middle of a forest. in nowhere they will have 72 hours to find their way to safety. If they don’t, he will begin hunting them, and he hunts to kill. But this madman has made a grave error, the couple he’s chosen are determined to survive and the love that they feel for each of their still will help them escape. A unique and entertaining thriller

Ok truth be told if I could give this book more than 5 stars I totally would. It was FANTASTIC!!! Totally what I was looking for in a romantic suspense book. This book was also a second chance romance done right!!

I was completely sucked into this story. With the authors writing I felt like I was in this story with these characters and facing the same fears they were. I haven’t read a Bella Jewel book before and I am so glad I took a chance on this book and author. I look forward to reading more of her books in the future.

72 Hours is a standalone novel told primarily from the female POV but the author did throw in some surprise POV’s that I wasn’t expecting. This story was captivating from the prologue all the way to the end of the book. I thought the flow and pace were perfect and I have nothing to complain about with this story. Bella gave us amazing characters and a storyline that was unput down able!! She gave us the perfect mix of suspense, mystery, angst, love and romance. You will totally walk away from reading this book feeling fulfilled. Hands down this is the BEST book of 2017 I have read so far (and I have read some really great books)

I can’t tell you much about this storyline because it would spoil so much. Just know that this book is a story about survival, strength, love and finding your inner self. I loved that she added the second chance romance into this story….it mixed well with the suspenseful storyline. I loved that she was able to keep me on the edge of my seat throughout the WHOLE book. I will warn you that this book is kind of detailed and if you don’t like violence in your stories this might not be the book for you. I normally don’t like a lot of gore in my romance novels, but this wasn’t overly graphic to the point of nausea but just enough that you could’ne help feel what the characters were feeling. Absolutely PERFECT!!!!

I honestly could go on and on about this book, but I don’t want to slip and spoil any of this book. Just READ THIS BOOK!!! You won’t be sorry. If you are a fan of Bella Jewel’s books and love a great thriller mixed with the perfect love story, then don’t miss out on this book!!!
