I went into this thinking it was a mystery/murder/thriller. It was all three but not quite what I expected. Not a genre I would pick either but I am glad I went into it blind. I enjoyed the book much to my surprise though!!!

A mix of unsavoury characters of missing husbands, abductors of children, murderers plus the odd demon, lots of dead people, angels on the wing not always lovely and peaceful some quite avengeful but the entire story kept its pace throughout and despite some torrid love scenes quite a fun read!
I don't know whether I'll go back to the series but this alone was a nice light read.

It's not normal for your average Albuquerque PI to have
archangels tailing her. Neither are a spectral Rottweiler as a bodyguard, demons, hell-hounds, ghosts, and gods. That is, unless the PI is Charley Davidson;Grim Reaper, Goddess, and married to the Son of Satan, who tries very hard to be a good guy. Charley and her husband, Reyes Farrow, are also the parents of an infant girl who may (or may not) save the world. When we last saw Charley and Reyes they were leaving the child in hiding from an evil god who wants to kill her and break down the walls between Hell and our world. While Charley and Reyes try to figure out that problem, the PI business has to go on. This time the case involves very human villains who lead a nasty cult and have a connection to Reyes. Also, Charley's police detective Uncle Bob is acting strangely. The whole thing ends with a cliff-hanger of monumental proportions.

If the plot summary seems confusing, I have to say that Eleventh Grave in Moonlight is decidedly not a stand-alone in any sense of the word. Each book, starting with First Grave on the Right, sets the scene and builds the world for the next. I have enjoyed them all to a greater or lesser degree, primarily for the sheer imagination of the premise, snarky humor and likable characters who gather around Charley. In the past, I have thought that the story line was moving a bit slowly but Eleventh Grave picks up the pace. I saw a lot of growth in Charley's attitude and in her grasp of her powers. Darynda Jones has a sense of humor that I found fresh and engaging in the first book and I still do. I always look forward to the sayings at the beginning of each chapter; they are often small masterpieces of snark. I am looking forward to the next book to see how this cliff-hanger is resolved!

Thanks to St. Martins and NetGalley for an advance digital copy in return for an honest review. The entire series is great complete escape reading.

I got hooked on this story from book 1, and I've eagerly awaited Eleventh Grave in Moonlight! I was provided an eArc, and I was not disappointed. The story kept me me intrigued and I just wanted to know what would happen next. Jones has pulling a few plotlines through the story since the initial books, and it's great to see some of those coming together. Jones is great with the cliffhangers, and I'll be waiting anxiously for book 12!!

4.5 stars--ELEVENTH GRAVE IN MOONLIGHT is the eleventh installment in Darynda Jones’s contemporary, adult CHARLEY DAVIDSON urban fantasy series focusing on part time PI/ full time Grim Reaper/ omnipotent god Charley Davidson.

NOTE: If you have not read the previous installments there may be some spoilers in my review.

SOME BACKGROUND: This is the continuing story of Charley’s life as the Grim Reaper, the corporeal spirits who have yet to pass, and the man to whom she has pledged her undying love-the son of Satan-Reyes Farrow. Charley Davidson, and now their daughter, are the key to saving or destroying the world.

Told from first person point of view (Charley Davidson) ELEVENTH GRAVE continues to focus on Charley’s growing powers and abilities, ones that have remained dormant throughout most of her human life. Charley has recently discovered she and her hunky husband Reyes Farrow aka the Son of Satan, are gods-powerful, omnipotent beings whose futures, along with the two month old daughter, are destined to either destroy the world, or bring peace to the heavens and earth.

Meanwhile, our heroine is desperate to uncover the truth about the people who destroyed her husband’s human life-a life measured by a kidnapping, abuse, torture and death, but what Charley’s discovers is an evil worse than any she could have imagined. A new character is introduced-perhaps another member of Charley’s army as the gang heads towards a final showdown.

Reyes and Charley’s relationship continues to have its ups and downs, mostly because our heroine is determined to make right all of the wrongs; to end the ongoing threats against the people she loves; and to avenge her husband for the abuse he has suffered-all at the expense of her own safety and possibly her life.

Darynda Jones ongoing use of humor, wit, one-liners, t-shirt slogans, internet memes and hilarious banter draws the reader into a story and series that continues to evolve through a myriad of paths that will eventually intersect wherein we shall see the true meaning of the power of love. The premise is intriguing, intelligent and entertaining; the characters are energetic, inspiring and engaging. ELEVENTH GRAVE IN MOONLIGHT is a fantastic addition to Darynda’s CHARLEY DAVIDSON series-a series that will seduce you into a world from which you never want to return.

I was fortunate enough to be able to have received an early copy via Netgalley.

I've been in love with the Son of Satan since 2011. Whoops, I mean the Charley Davidson series!
I can see why Charley is in love with Reyes Alexander Farrow, Son of Satan, aka the hottest damn devil alive! After reading Darynda's latest edition to the Charley Davidson series, the only thought I had was WHEN IS THE NEXT ONE OUT?! I loved every part of this book except the ending! Oh my goodness, my mind is in overdrive with contemplation over how the next book in the series will go. I won't give anything away so no worry on spoilers, but I will say by the end of Eleventh Grave in Moonlight, agonizing withdrawals for the next in the series awaits you. Don't let this stop you from grabbing your copy today, the agony was oh so worth it.

Funny, clever, and sometimes lucky, but sometimes not Charley Davidson returns in the eleventh installment of a captivating and humorous urban fantasy suspense series. Charley has her usual private investigator work, her usual worries over her daughter’s safety, but now adds a few more tasks to her always-long to-do list.

She laid her pen across her notepad and gave me her full attention. “Tell me about him.”

“My husband?”

“Yes.” Her voice was very soothing. Like elevator music. Or summer rain. Or Darvocet…

“How much time do we have?” I snorted, cracking myself up… “Just kidding… He’s kind of awesome. He’s from down under.”

“Australia?”

“Hell.” Loc 92 Charley Davidson to a psychiatrist from Eleventh Grave in Moonlight

Eleventh Grave in Moonlight is part of an ongoing series and must be read in order to figure out what is going on.

Private investigator Charley Davidson also happens to be a Reaper, yes the Grim sort though she is never grim. Charley is also married to the son of Satan. I do mean that literally, but Reyes is more than meets the eye and that is quite something already. Charley is joined in her escapades by gal-pal Cookie, Uncle Bob, a ghostly hound, a sexy teen ghost, a slave demon, a skeptical associate, and a wide assortment of other colorful characters.

In this installment, Charley is called upon to help a man discover his true parentage. This becomes problematic when his case involves Reyes who wants her to stay out of it. Cookie wants Charley to help figure out why her husband is acting oddly, Amber is having troubles, and a powerful god from another realm is on the loose gunning for Charley. All the while, Charley is trying to get her newly discovered powers under control under Reyes’ tutelage since she might have to use them sooner rather than later the way matters are shaping up.

With each story in this series, I continue to enjoy Charley’s humor, being along as she solves her cases and handles the encounters with the quirky posse in her circle of acquaintance. Things are still sizing up for the big conflict of epic proportions.

Charley’s need to do things for herself even when it would be better to call in the cavalry or even back down and come at it another time or from a different angle does make me groan a few times, but she has good motivations.

Have I mentioned before in my reviews of this series how much I adore Uncle Bob? Ubie is the bestest. Whether it is how he is with Charley or now with his step-daughter Amber, I find a lot of good-guy adorable-ness. He may not have any powers and he’s only human, but he is there in all the tough moments and comes through for everybody.

Charley is at a learning point and this is the first time she really starts to grasp just who and what she is. The reveals show her that Reyes was right to be cautious with knowledge because once known it can never be unknown or go back to a time of innocence when she wasn’t burdened by the knowledge.

For all that is going on, I did enjoy all the tender and passionate moments tucked in there between Charley and Reyes. They are a couple that don’t work on paper, but don’t let that stop them from being so right for each other. I really needed all their special times of connection because wow, do they really get challenged.

The ending left things, yes, sigh, on the edge of a huge cliff so be prepared going in that you’ll be needing book twelve STAT when the last page is turned on this one.

All in all, this was a solid one and proves why this series is still going strong. The stakes are getting higher, but I love how the humor is still ever present and Charley works to keep it light for everyone. Definitely recommend these books to anyone needing a new urban fantasy series to start and love.

Eleventh Grave
There is never enough pages in these books ! Ms Jones writes so magically that it always feels like I just started the book then BAM it’s over. I get lost in the story, lose track of time and become totally emerged in Charlie Davidson’s world, fall so completely in love with her husband. Ah, I mean I really enjoy reading these characters. Falling in love with a fictional character would be nuts right ? I may be a little nuts.
Point of extreme interest-
-Charlie is evolving, superpowers are engaged, and necks are broken.
-Charlie has a grasshopper moment she learns to be the grain of sand.
-Reyes can take me to a coffee shop anytime
-Stuff happens on huge enormous scale of happenings
-Holy Hat Tamales stuff goes down !
-The Ending, it will leave you breathless in shock
Loved it, loved it and I loved it.

Charley Davidson is still learning to balance her life as a sleuthing, part-time P.I. and full-time Grim Reaper. Investigations, talking to the departed plus dealing with all manner of demons, hell-hounds, evil gods and angels are just another normal day. Not to mention lusting after her often infuriating and hot as hell husband, Reyes Farrow--literally the son of Satan.

In this 11th installment to the series, Charley continues to discover the scope of her powers since learning that she is a goddess with extreme abilities and her daughter is destined to save the world from total destruction. Charley is still dealing with the fact that she cannot raise or even see her child in hopes to protect her from those who mean Beep harm.

Readers are in store for another humorous, sexy and well crafted supernatural mystery/thriller with plenty of unexpected twists. Charley continues her investigative work which often have multiple ties to her personal life. There is definite friction between herself and Reyes since she pursues the case against the Fosters--the couple who kidnapped Reyes as a baby as well as his 'brother' and other children. What she finds is surprising but connected to the supernatural.

The Amber story-line was a surprise turn but a well crafted bit of writing from the author to tie a lot of the narrative together as well as continuing to give readers of glimpse of where this series might be going and steer the course for the spin-off Jones keeps promising.

Eidolon makes a surprising reappearance that again brings about dire turmoil and consequences for Charley and her supernatural crew. I had an inkling regarding the ending but was not prepared for the shock nor the lingering sense of disbelief that we'll have to wait for the next book for some answers and 'hopfully' peace of mind.

Reading these in print is never a disappointment but I can't wait to revisit it in audio as performed by Lorelei King.

Overall, I LOVED IT!

I always look forward to reading the next book in the Charley Davidson series and once again, I can't wait for #12. Can you say cliff hanger?

Charley is her usual snarky self in book 11 and she's still trying to save the world, clueless as ever. Throw in some angels, some gods, a possession or two, a cult, the son of satan and mix it all up into pure chaos. Charley still manages to save the day and still not realize how she did it.

The Curse of Tenth Grave left Charley with a lot on her plate, as per usual. Yes, she banished one rogue god to the god-glass necklace, but she still has one at large and needs to figure out how to take care of him, as Beep’s survival is on the line. Then, there’s the fact that she’s still trying to come to terms with her own godhood, her beef with Jehovah over which has caused his ever-vigilant angels to follow Charley around wherever she goes, plus the fact that Uncle Bob’s life may still be in danger despite having saved him from his foreseen death previously.

To top it all off, though, Charley is officially hired by Reyes’ sorta-kinda-in-a-way-brother Shaun to look into his adoptive parents the Fosters, and to find his real parents. Just a reminder: the Fosters are the people who stole Reyes from his birth parents and eventually sold him to the evil Earl Walker. Of course Reyes wants Charley to drop the investigation, but, come on; this is Charley Davidson we’re talking about. The moment she backs away from anything is the moment hell freezes over….oh wait.

I always love being back in Charley’s world and Eleventh Grave is certainly on par with all the wit and humor we’ve come to know and love from our grim reaper/god.

I’ve felt that ever since she had Beep, subsequently lost then regained her memories, and learned she is a god, there’s been an increased level of maturity to Charley, which is a nice element of growth to her character. Probably one of my favorite things about Eleventh Grave is that we get to see Charley really learn about and start to hone her powers, with Reyes acting as Charley’s Yoda/Obi-Wan—albeit with a bit more sexytimes however. Constantly, people are telling her what she’s able (or should be able) to do with her powers and she’s always been clueless. So it was really nice to see Charley gain some perspective on who she is because she still equates herself as human and it just isn’t true. But I do like the fact that Charley hangs on to her humanity, especially in the face of what we learn about her history.

Having said that, what really kept Eleventh Grave from being a five-star rating was the fact that I felt as though it was too jam-packed full of varying leftover storylines. I felt like all the open story threads from Tenth Grave were kind of just check-marked off the list to clear the way for what is happening in the next book, which is all set-up within the last maybe five to ten percent of the book. Unfortunately, I felt like a few scenes could have been throwaways because the resolution was just so quick.

That’s not to say Eleventh Grave wasn’t an enjoyable read. It certainly was. It just felt more transitory for me than revelatory. There’s a certain point towards the end where you get a definite feel of where the story will be heading in the next book, and I just wanted to tell Charley: “No! Bad Idea!” But alas, this is not a Choose Your Own Adventure book. So we’ll have to wait until fall to find out The Trouble with Twelfth Grave.

This book should come with a warning label: May cause coffee cravings. Jones has done it again. One part supernatural, one part detective story. I loved seeing Charley Davidson learn how awesome her powers truly are. With Reyes as her sexy Obi-wan and Yoda in one steamy package. Yum.

Absolutely amazing!!! Darynda Jones has blown me away again! I have to say that this series has got to be my favorite and the chemistry between Charlie and Reyes is on fire. This book is full of so many twist and turns that I can't wait to see what happens next for our favorite grim reaper.

Eleventh Grave in Moonlight.  Darynda Jones

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre:  mystery and thrillers, paranormal and fantasy

I’ve loved this series, it has it all, romance, suspense, humour, and all wrapped up in a great adventure.
Its kind of hard to pick out which characters you like best, Charley and the sex-on-a-stick Reyes of course, but then there’s BFF cookie and her daughter amber, and Ubie, Charley’s detective uncle, and some of Charley's other friends. And Osh, Angel, and others from the supernatural side.

Once more we’re bang into a story. I’d expected it to pick up from the end of the last book where Charley was berating Jehovah and Michael....y’know, telling Gods and Archangels off as you do, bringing out the threats....but it doesn’t.
Instead she gets a new job for her PI business, from a strange source, Reyes' foster brother...and as always Charley storms in without really thinking too far ahead, other than getting Cookie on more research.
I love the way those two chat, its almost deranged and yet they know what they mean and it makes sense. Sort of.
While chasing that down they have to deal with an issue Amber has, and of course still work out how to get back the people trapped in the God glass, who’ve been stuck there since the 1400’s thanks to a vengeful, twisted priest, work out how to stop Charley from destroying the world, learn just what she can and can’t do, find some way of dealing with Eidolon and protect Beep. Business as usual then, no pressure.

It turns out that some of the things that seemed to be separate issues are actuallyconnected – doesn’t it always?
I love the way Darynda does that, the way she takes issues from past books, things that almost passed unnoticed, and weaves them in carefully and letting Charley loose on the problem, and of course the way Charley seems to plan on the fly, the way everyone gets involved.
Its all serious drama, heart stopping stuff, mixed in with some trademark Charley snark and humour. And sexiness...Reyes...hmmnnn – the way he adores Charley and yet doesn’t pander to her, puts his foot down sometimes – not that she takes any notice. Its good to see he doesn’t just roll over, but is such a strong character, that his love for her, his Dutch, strengthens him, makes them into a formidable duo.
The Sahara scene with him and Charley was terrific, and her learning experiences take a decidedly sensual turn, reminded me of that shower scene in one of the very early books.

Its interesting to look back at the start of this series and see just how far its come, how the characters have evolved and yet still keep the essential essence of what makes them personally so special, so integral to the story.

A fabulous mystery once more, plays out well, ties up some past loose ends, but opens up more as usual, but that ending. Noooooooo.....Darynda how could you? I hate, hate cliff-hangers, hate them with a vengeance :-( and this one is a real doozy.

Stars: Five, another cracking book, still fresh after all the past ones, where some longer series get stale. This one though, you never quite know what’s coming next.

I’ve been a long-time fan of the Charley Davidson series – it is seriously the bomb dot com!! It’s one of my all-time favorite urban fantasy series out there, and it’s THE funniest series I’ve ever read. I’m never disappointed with each new installment – every single one is hilarious, action-packed, suspenseful, and full of the goodness and sexiness that is Reyes Farrow. And in Eleventh Grave in Moonlight, Charley Davidson, PI extraordinaire and ghost reaper, is up to her usual mystery-solving shenanigans. If you love this series, you don’t want to miss this latest installment! But I have to warn you… the ending will kill you!

Charley has just gotten used to the fact that she’s not just the grim reaper, but also a goddess with immense power. But even though she’s a goddess, she probably shouldn’t have threatened the Big Guy upstairs with world domination… because now she’s got angels following her every move. That doesn’t stop her from her day-time job, and it’s definitely not going to stop her from finding out who’s stalking her best friend’s daughter. It’s never a dull day in Charley’s world, especially when you also have the son of Satan as a husband.

Charley is one of the most endearing heroines I’ve ever read, mainly because of how utterly ridiculous and funny her narrative is. I don’t know how Darynda Jones manages to keep up the incredible humor that’s classic to Charley, but I hope she never stops. I love it! And I love how protective and stubborn she is – there is nothing she won’t do to protect her family. And speaking of family, Charley’s gang is one of my favorite cast of characters to ever read. All of her family and friends, from her bff Cookie to her Uncle Bob, from her husband Reyes to the mysterious Osh, all bring such life to the story. I have to admit though… Reyes is still my ultimate fav – there’s no book boyfriend like him!

In this book, we find out a little more of Reyes’ past and Charley’s abilities as a goddess. I didn’t love this book quite as much as the previous ones, mainly because I felt it moved a little too slow… except for the freaking ending. Mother of all cliffhangers, the ending killed me! I nearly screamed when I got to it. I can’t believe Darynda did this to us – I’m seriously dying for the next book! But other than the ending, it’s another classic Charley Davidson book, full of laughs, quirks, trouble, and craziness. If you’ve been keeping up with the series, you need to get your hands on this book ASAP. And if you haven’t experienced the craziness that is Charley Davidson, you need to start!

Eleventh Grave in Moonlight by Darynda Jones

Continuing police investigations, sarcasm, irreverent behavior and coffee addictions.
In this eleventh book, Charlie learns more about her God powers while investigating her husband's foster parents, watching over her Uncle, and dodging angels. She did threaten the top guy after all.

I love Charlie's attitude and her humanity even though that so called humanity, (as taught by Reyes, ) is a tiny grain of sand in a desert that is her god powers. Most all the prior characters make appearances. We even get an ahhhh moment when Osh tells Charlie that her daughter has her crooked smile.

A worthy continuation but definitely read the previous books to get the full color.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley.

I never said I’d die without coffee. I said other people would.

If you follow my Facebook page, you'd know that I am absolutely addicted to the Charley Davidson series. Every chapter of every book packed with laughter, amazing characters and addictive writing. The eleventh book in the series does not disappoint. Charley is starting to embrace the idea that she is not only the Grim Reaper but a Goddess and knowing that her daughter will need a powerful army at her side, has begun learning more about her powers with Reyes, her sexy son of satan hubby ready to give her all the lessons he can to prepare her. Even if it means tossing her off a building. No one ever said that life was going to be easy.

"Payback is a bitch, and her name is Charley Davidson.”

As the series has progressed, the twists and turns that it has taken have kept me on pins and needles and that doesn't stop with this story. From a trip to the Sahara, to the mystery of Uncle Bob to Amber having a stalker(!), and Charley's newest client who holds the key to her husband's kidnapping as a child, is there anything else that can get thrown in? And holy crap, those sexy times in this book! Swoon. I revere Reyes, even when he gets alpha and prickly. If I'm being truthful, it's especially sexy when he gets all alpha *grin*. There are these moments between them that makes my heart beat speed up and wish for a relationship like theirs.

“Magnificent.”

“What?” I floated back to the ground to join him and turned around to see what was behind me. “What do you see?” Reyes shifted and stepped to me. “You, Dutch. I see you.”

That ending! What!? I have to wait how long to the next book?! Ugh, the agony. You can just feel the author building us up for that last book and getting us ready for something epic. Charley and Reyes, Cookie and Ubie, Osh and Beep. I am so ready to know where this series is going. As always, Jones has left her readers magnetized by her words and thirsting for more. I need more Charley fix!

“Hey, boss.” Sammy poked his head in. “Fryer’s on the fritz again.”
I perked up. “Did you check the carburetor?” Gawd, I was so helpful.
He laughed softly and shook his head. “Davidson, did you stop taking your medication again?”
“Why? What have you heard?”

5/5 stars spellbound stars.

Darynda has done it again .... 5 ++++ stars for this Charley delivery.
I received an ARC through Netgalley in exchange for an honest opinion.
I am a fan of Darynda's books, and especially of this series, so since I knew this book would be published, I started looking for an ARC, and what a surprise when they accepted me at Netgalley, I could not stop jump of happiness.
Of course it got me hooked from the first page, I can not stop until I finished it.
As always Charley and her sarcasm will make you die of laughter, and really, I love the chemistry and tenderness of Charley and Reyes, I can not have enough of them two and their scenes, which are getting better.
The book tells different stories of the dead people, and some involve characters very close to Charley as Amber, the parents of Reyes who kidnapped him as a baby and gave him to Earl Walker and of course Uncle Bob. As the story unfolds, we learn a little more about Charley's abilities, which she develops more as the story unfolds and with Reyes as a teacher, the sessions become super HOT (in the best of ways). Really this couple is the best of the best, I can not have enough when they are together.
I love the narrative of Darynda and as we delve into the characters, I love that I went from laughing at one moment to cry and sigh at the other.
As always, history keeps you in suspense, makes you hesitate and think and add two more to try to discover all the mysteries we have.
I love the side characters, Cookie, Amber, Garret, Uncle Bob but Osh! Omg! A bad boy with a child's face and a melting sweetness. Every time he earn more my heart and I really want your book with Beep! Hopefully someday we'll know about them.
Finally, this end, OHHHHMYYYYGOOODDD! This cliffhanger has been most desperate! I can not wait for the other book. October arrives now!

The Charley Davidson series is one of my guilty pleasures, quite frankly I think I'm too old for them, I'm sure I'm not the target audience, I'm in my 50's for heavens sake, I've read every book and every book I pick up saying I'll just read a couple of chapters and every book, one chapter in I'm giggling to myself over the the sayings / statements at the beginning (Insanity takes its toll. Please have exact change) and willing Charley on with a fervour. This one was no different, picked it up, (sent to me by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review) thought this won't be for me, I'll just read a couple of chapters, and once again loved every minute of it.

It's a steamy little number in places with Charley and Reyes discovering each other quite thoroughly as man and wife. Charley and the gang are working on their mainstay of hotch potch cases including searching for Amber's scary stalker and of course Gods, Demons and Angel's abound. Great fun and a hot damn 'there's gonna be trouble now' ending. What more could you ask for?

Well here we are 11 books deep into this series and we have some major movement on some things that go all the way back to the beginning of the series. Several mysteries are cleared up here and Charlie comes into her power a bit more.

This series has always had a bit of a formula about it but that has never lessen my enjoyment of these novels almost without exception. Charley is learning to make peace with the fact that she is a goddess with a lot of untapped powers which we get to see a few more this time around and we get glimpses of almost everyone we have gotten used to seeing and missing maybe 1 or 2 we expected to see in minor roles.

As always the real reason I love this series is not the actual plot (GASP!) but the humor which I love and wish I had t-shirts with a lot of these sayings not to mention the humor in the stories.

I have read many readers that get totally OCD over her naming of almost everything and while I think most of it is a bit silly it does nothing to interfere with what I consider some of the most entertaining stories around.

The romance is always so passionate it has almost gotten to the point of commonplace but this book is going to throw us several bones that end plot-lines that have been teasing readers for several books and as always she throws in a new storyline for the next book on the last page. It used to be frustrating but I have gotten used to it and don't really consider it a cliffhanger since it almost always starts a whole new story (as this one does).

Bottom Line: I loved it, loved the humor, loved the story, love the characters pretty much everything, I love the way she interjects a dose of reality into these stories, I was a bit concerned after last book with some serious anti-Judaeo/Christian elements but these are slowly smoothed over I thought as the book progresses and Charley sees that things are not as she thought them to be. So 5 Stars again and I can't wait for the next one since this ending was in the "WTF just happened" category .

So...well obviously things have gone down in previous books. I still feel so sad that she can't be with Beep. I mean that is beyond heartbreaking. Beep!

Where to begin? I wanted more Reyes, ok so Reyes was there and they got hot and heavy. But he was not there..Reyes!!

Charley said some things in the last book and angels are stalking her. But if she wants a beef with God then she will have one. She is a goddess after all.

She has a new case, one she really should have left alone. Things will get dangerous. But that is Charley for ya.

Family issues. Godly drama, you name it.

And then there were a few new revelations that I did not see coming.

Conclusion:
I do need the next book at once
