*** I would like to thank Netgalley, Serial Box Publishing and the author Matthew Cody for sending me this digital copy of Umta in exchange for an honest review***

In this episode we learn more about the mysterious Umta. There are flashbacks of her past, and we get to see why Umta is protective and caring in her own way. The kids find a train station that might have power but many of them have gotten comfortable and are settling down while others what to keep moving. So know one really knows what to do.

This isn't a ReMade episode without the Caretakers. They make an appearance and it doesn't end pretty, I was kind of shocked. Umta was a great quick read. I'm glad that I get to read about Umta, she's always keeping to herself, know one really knows anything about her, they just think she's strange. So its interesting to see what happened to her and how she got there, since she doesn't talk much, it was sad too.

This episode focuses on Umta, the mysterious woman who helped Holden and Seyah escape the caretakers on the first episode.

I'm so happy to finally read this episode! Umta spiked my attention the moment she appeared on the first episode. She wasn't really a big part of the plot in the latest episodes, which makes me wonder about her and what she's doing. This episode answered some of my questions about Umta but not all.
I really liked the plot of this episode and it was amazing to be inside Umta's head.
I'm enjoying the series so far and I recommend it.
After the ending of this episode, I can't wait to read the next!

I am enjoying this serial, however I would like some movement on the story. Each chapter is telling the story of a new character and this is starting to get a little tiresome. This chapter we learn the story of Umta, and we discover that, unlike the rest of our teenage characters, she was a neanderthal mother ostracized from her community after her man was killed. Each individual character's story is interesting and well written, but as I stated we are still in complete darkness as to what is happening and why. This is the fifth chapter and the reader is still in the dark as to why these characters have been given a second chance but what has happened to create this post apocalyptic world. Please, let's have some movement on the main questions of the story

I downloaded the sequels to the first one because I got it in an owlcrate and I wanted to give them a go but I couldn't move past the first one. Sorry.
