Well I think that it is official that this series is not for me. I have read all of them and even in this third attempt I am still just not connecting with the characters and writing style. In this third addition to the series we have Kane and Nora. I went into this one praying that there would be more character development and care taken with the growth of their relationship but sadly the characters are not flushed out well before they are thrown into bed together just a few chapters in. All of the books in this series have seriously hot covers and a good premise but I feel that they under-deliver and just don't hit the mark for me.

While this is the third installment of the Kavanagh brothers it can be read alone. But if you haven’t read them, I encourage you to. Kane has had the hots for his brother’s girlfriend’s best friend, Nora for quite a while now. But she has continuously ignored him. But deep down she is attracted to Kane and has been trying to fight it, but she can do this for only so long. While there is a hardness to Kane, after all he is a MMA fighter, he is also a sweet, loyal man. He has some depth to him. Nora is a strong independent woman. Since she couldn’t rely on her mother, she has had to grow up at an early age and take care of herself. In the beginning these two have somewhat of a love/hate relationship. They both love to give each other a little push sometimes. But both are strong enough to stand up for themselves and then eventually stand up for each other. Soon their hearts become involved. I like the sense of family this author weaves into her stories. This was a sweet, sexy read and I look more to books by this author. After all there are a couple of brothers left. Review posted on Goodreads, Amazon, Google Play, Barnes and Noble and Ibooks.

Becoming a Legend was a great story. I thought this book was cute and the witty banter had my laughing. I couldn't put it down. The character Kane and Nora were likeable, and their chemistry was scorching hot. Each book in this series keeps getting better and I can't wait to read Quinn's story.

I received this from Netgalley.

I was so excited to get a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.
Kane and Nora have been dancing around each other for months. Their bickering has, apparently just been foreplay.
Nora has issues with her mother that are causing her to fail her psychology courses and possibly lose her scholarship. And Kane feels he has to focus on his MMA fighting championship, so a relationship isn't on his radar.
But as they get closer, they both realize they could be more to each other than they first thought.
This is a great next chapter in the Kavanaugh brothers series. Can't wait for more!

I love Kane and Nora! The chemistry between these two was fantastic. Angsty, sweet, sexy - this book had me hooked from the first page. I have loved this series and can't wait to read more by this author!

I am saddened to write this review because this is the lowest rating I have ever given a Sarah Robinson book... especially a book in this series!

It took me a while to get through this book, some of it had to do with the Holidays and being busy and getting married but mostly due to also losing some interest in the book.

I love this series but this one, I have to say, is my least favorite, so far. This one didn't have the impact the others had on me. I feel the storyline fell flat. I like Kane and Nora and I love that we get to see previous characters from the previous books, but they were not my favorite.

The story just didn't do it for me. I feel the relationship was rushed, they rushed into sex when they weren't ready for it and honestly, when the main characters are having sex within the first couple chapters, it is a turn off to me. I love to watch and feel the build-up and that just didn't happen with Kane and Nora, which disappointed me. They let the physical attraction takeover. I didn't care for the major sex scene 11% in, it took away from the build-up of the story, which caused a major slow down halfway through the story, which caused me to lose interest.

The ending I enjoyed. It was a nice conclusion, but still, it wasn't anything like the previous books. It lacked surprise and excitement. It really hurts my heart to say that! But that isn't going to stop me from continuing this series. I love these books and Sarah is a sweetheart. I am really looking forward to Quinn's story! He is not a fighter, so he is going to be a bit different from his older brothers. I am excited to read his story!

3 sad owls.

Sarah Robinson did an amazing job continuing the world of Kavanaugh brothers. Kane the younger twin who is going to be the next big MMA fighter ever in his mind doesn't believe in relationships or strings attached to anyone that isn't family. Nora Hannigan as grown up learning that she can't rely on anyone but herself and her BFF Fiona. Kane keeps hitting on her and flirting with Nora, but she is trying not to get involved with anyone. Her main priority in life is finishing her schooling. Kane and Nora are constantly thrown together until finally they give in. Can Kane and Nora get all strings attached or will they fall to the pressure of the world around them?

I can't wait for the next in this series, so excited!

I don't even know where to begin. I certainly have found a gem of a series. I ABSOULETY Love the Kavanagh Brothers. The first book, Breaking a Legend, and the second installment Saving a Legend was a nice slow intro into what I found in this book. It definitely left me a bit over heated. With each new installment Sarah Robinson makes me fall in love with the Kavanagh brothers all over again. I can’t wait for Quinn and Jimmy’s Story and I am praying their cousin Casey gets her own story as well.
Full of Intense and Emotional Scenes Kane Kavanagh and Nora Hannigan are about to take you on a ride of your life where the heart desires what the heart desires and all else be damned. These two have an intense soul deep connection that both either one can understand, but when together it is explosive.
I enjoyed this story, there was a lot of pain in Nora's past. Emotional Pain she was made to feel but didn't deserve to feel by an uncaring self-serving mother. I loved her with Kane though, they had a real spark and a soul-deep connection! They were good together! Kane on the other hand has only wanted one thing in life and that was to become a legend a champion in the MMA World that was until Nora walked into his life and he found what really wanted was to make her his.
If you Love Strong Alpha Me and MMA You Will Absolutely Love the Kavanagh Men. I HIGHLY recommend this series to ALL.

I’m a sucker for series that revolve around a family and Sarah Robinson’s Kavanagh Legends has been spectacular. The enemies to friends to lovers angle, a high stakes fight hanging in the balance, a bit of suspense, and the Kavanagh family doing what they do best– kicking a$$ and taking names made Becoming a Legend my favorite in the series to date!

Kane Kavanaugh has always felt like he just didn’t measure up to his siblings, but he’s been training hard and the upcoming championship fight will help him finally feels he has a place in his family. What he doesn’t expect is the distraction that comes in a small package, his twin’s fiancée’s best friend, Nora Hannigan. Nora who has spent the past year ignoring him and busting his chops at every turn, Nora who spends one night in his bed and disappears the next day, Nora who is in danger trying to help her mother, Nora who makes him want things he never thought he wanted, and Nora the one he’s willing to give up his dreams to make sure she fulfills her own.

Seriously, I don’t think I could have loved this story any more, Kane is one of those heroes that makes me swoon because even when he makes an unpopular decision it haunts him and when he realizes exactly what he wants he goes for it fully and completely. I loved this character so much and to be honest I wasn’t sure I would because previously he came off kind of self centered, aloof, and even at times a bit mean, but everything about him hit all of my buttons and I am firmly in Kane’s corner from here on out. Nora’s tenacity really made me enjoy her character a great deal; she was dealing with an impossible situation and doing the best she could do to make it work. My heart hurt for her various times throughout this book for various reasons, but I loved that she didn’t hold on to her hurt and anger, she really had a forgiving heart.

I can’t finish up this review without mentioning the entire Kavanagh family and their significant others, this family plays hard and loves fiercely and at the end of the day they are there for one another through good times and bad.

Becoming a Legend was a knockout in every sense of the word; it was exciting, it was fun, and it was sexy, but more than that it was about love and respect and learning that sometimes letting someone in your life makes everything a bit bigger and brighter.

Nora Hannigan has been trying her best not to eat from the Kavanagh tree of ultimate sexiness but there is just something about Kane Kavanagh that just calls to her and leaves her wanting more.

Kane Kavanagh has worked hard to get out of his father and his brothers shadows and make a name for himself in the fighting world. With one big fight left he knows that he should stay focused but whenever Nora walks in the room he zooms in on her and everything that she has to offer.

But like every great romance, someone has a skeleton in their closet that just wont stay away getting them into trouble every time they turn around. The real question is can the LOVE in Nora and Kane's love hate relationship make it through this last bout of trouble? Read and find out!

I voluntarily read this advanced reviewers copy of this book.

I really loved this series and this book. I think that Sarah Robinson did a great job brining the heat... the drama and of course the laughs into every part of this book.

My favorite character in this book has to be Nora. Nora was great because her emotions were so raw and believable. Kane was the perfect macho sexy man that she needed to get in her face and see just what was going on in her life. Because some situations are harder to walk away from then others.

Overall this book is great, I loved every bit of the chemistry, the heat, compassion and the romance in this book.

How have I not read anything by this author before? What is wrong with me? Why am I starting this series with book 3? Well, at least I know the answer to the third question there, and that’s because I like to do things back-asswards more often than not. As for the other two? I have no clue and I’m kicking myself for the mistake thoroughly because I seriously enjoyed this book.
As a reader that typically goes for the alphaholes and manwhores, it was a refreshing change of pace to get a nice guy. Kane Kavanagh has had the hots of his brother’s girlfriend’s best friend for some time and all he’s gotten in return is her snark and disinterest. But Kane is not the playboy and batboy that he may come across as at first. Sure he’s focused on his professional fighting career, but he’s also loyal, sweet, and when the man sets his eyes on his goal, he’ll stop at nothing to get it…and what he wants is Nora. Nora has been trying to resist Kane for months, but when she finally gets to see the man beneath the sex appeal and show, she realizes that there’s a lot more to him than meets the eye.
Nora is a sweet girl that only ever wanted the love of her mother. Unfortunately her mother only ever cared about her herself and her next good time. Nora has been the adult her entire life and taking care of her mother is nothing new. She doesn’t want Kane or his amazing family to know the depth of the trouble she’s in or what her mother truly cost her, so avoiding Kane’s attentions is more of a necessity than she admits to at first. But the fiery attraction between them soon proves too much of a temptation to resist. What first starts as a not strings attached means to appease the sexual tension between them, soon begins to turn into something much more meaningful.
She wanted Kane, but she didn’t want him on those terms anymore, and certainly not at his expense. She wanted either everything or nothing, and she needed to find a way to be okay with whichever outcome occurred.
Becoming a Legend was a wonderful combination of sweet and sexy. Kane, while a playboy in his recent years, knows a good thing when he’s got it. And it’s only Nora for him as soon as they get started. I loved that there was absolutely no other woman drama. Kane only had eyes for Nora and I adored the sweet side of him that came out around her. He was protective and possessive but without going overboard.
Nora was a fantastic heroine. All she’s ever wanted was her mother’s love and seeing the extents of her sacrifices for her was almost heartbreaking to read. This was a perfectly paced, sweet and heartwarming romance that I enjoyed from start to finish. There was just the right amount of sizzle with just the perfect splash of action to spice things up. I loved that there was no craziness with Kane and Nora’s relationship. While the primary drama came from outside forces, it never felt like it was too much. It was the perfect addition to add an interesting plot line to the romance. If you’re looking for a sweet and sexy hero and romance with just as much sizzle, then this is definitely a must read.

Sarah Robinson writes a fairly steamy but always funny and sweet romance about an MMA fighter who's trying to break into the big leagues and the girl that could take him down. Will he allow his fear about getting distracted from training to keep him from being with someone who makes everyday living a delightful surprise? Or will he allow her in and let her become part of his world and GROW UP at the same time?

Nora has got a lot of trouble on her hands. She's trying to finish her doctorate in Psychology without getting in trouble with her professors. Unfortunately, she's had to get a side job to pay off her mother's bookies--and if the doctoral committee finds out, she could get kicked out of the program and lose her scholarship. At first she ignores Kane as much as she can because he's a player and she doesn't need the hassle with everything else going on in her life. But he's relentless and soon she succumbs to his advances.

That's a problem when the bookies come after Nora. He's going to protect her at all costs--and that cost might be his career. He's got to stay focused on training for the upcoming Las Vegas match; plus, Nora doesn't want him dragged into her tainted world. It's bad enough she's got to worry about a loan shark coming after her--she doesn't want it to affect Kane's life.

When Kane senses that Nora is in trouble, he just can't stay away. If only she would open up to him and tell him what's bothering her. Nora feels the same about him--he's keeping something from her and it makes her feel inadequate and unsure.

Time's a tickin' and they'd better get it straightened out or two lives could hit the fan. Great read with lots of character with great heart and some smoking hot sexy scenes. Third of the trilogy but works well as a stand-alone. Thanks!

***4,5 "All-Strings-Attached!!!" stars***

OMG!!!! Literally, this series is getting better and better!!!!
I loved this particular book and i loved Kane very much... More than the previous brothers, even though that all of them were wonderful!!!
But I will wait for Quinn's turn because i have this feeling that his turn will be also great!!!!
The thing is that the Kavanaugh brothers are awesome and the same goes for their women!!!
But let me focus on Kane and Nora...

We took a glimpse about Kane and Nora in the previous book...
Nora was working with Keiran in the youth center and she was Fiona's best friend and Kane was Keiran's twin...
Between them, there was bad blood, or not???
Kane is flirting all the damn time with Nora and Nora is irritated by his attitude!!!
So, they appear that they are hating each other, but is that right???

"After months of snarky comments and scathing replies, there was now silence between them.
And it spoke volumes."

Kane is the third child in the family and he was always feeling like he was coming last among his brothers... After Rory and Keiran's end on the cage, he had stepped up and he is determined to be a Legend in the MMA fighting...
After all, he is Kane "The Killer" Kavaunagh and he will prove his worth to everyone!!!
All his world is spinning around this upcoming fight for the championship and he's not going to let anything to distract him from his goal!!!

"Fighting was all Kane knew how to do...
This championship was his opportunity to do something his brothers had tried—and failed—to do.
And he didn’t want anything getting in the way."

Nora is always so serious and her plate is very full at this moment...
She is working at the youth center, she is on college, she has loads of study to do and she had serious problems because of her mother... She doesn't need Kane or anyone else to get into her way and turn everything upside down....
And not only that, but her serious problems could become Kane's problems too and she doesn't want to complicate his life even more....
After all, she doesn't like him at all!!!!

"She refused to let the romantic air between them feel like more.
They didn’t like each other. They’d had sex. Amazing sex. They still didn’t like each other.
End of story."

But then, she is seeing a different side of him and she just can't stay away from him...
Neither he can!!!
So what will happen with the two of them???
Together they are so good, but neither of them need any distractions in their lives and they are exactly that for each other....
Will they stick in their plans or will they reevaluate what they want and need in life???
Success or love is worthying more???

“Anchor yourself to me, Nora. Nothing else. Only me.” {Kane}

"She wanted either everything or nothing, and she needed to find a way to be okay with whichever outcome occurred. She just wasn't sure how to do that." {Nora}

I really loved Kane...
From the previous books, he seemed very cocky, overly confident, very flirty with bad pick up lines and very friendly with all the women around him....
But in here, we discovered a different side of him and i really liked what we saw...
He was very kind, thoughtful, determined, gentle and in combination with his cocky self, he was just... perfect!!!
I liked very much the way he was treating Nora and even though that he didn't admit it, he was in love with her from the first moment...

“I want every single string, kitty. I want your heart.”

I also liked very much Nora...
She was worthying so much and it was very unfair that because of her mother, she was thinking so low about herself!!!
She was having a big heart and she had so much love inside of her...
Kane made her see what she was really worthying and she needed this discovery...
She also was a little bit of delusional about her feelings for Kane... but thankfully, she realized her mistake very soon!!!

"Despite her heart’s warning for her to be cautious, this man was making his way into her life and seemed to have no plans to leave. And she didn’t want him to."

As for the rest of the Kavanaughs???
They were all of them amazing for once again...
I like that we are seeing them to get on with their lives and I can't wait to learn everything about the rest of the brothers!!!
And Sarah??? I wouldn't say no to a book about Casey, as well!!! I really want to read her story too!!!

"He kissed the woman he loved enough to give up everything for.
The woman who’d loved him enough not to let him."

Well, I was not sure if I was going to be lost considering I had not read book 1. Not the case at all. This was very easy to follow and really a fantastic story. The pace was just right no lingering here.
Kane and Nora are a force as a couple. They start out as some do as friends with benefits, we all know this never works out. Kane is determined to win a his championship MMA fight and Nora will stop at nothing to get her degree. They will not let a romance get in the way of achieving their goals. Even if they tend to not be able to keep their hands off each other. This is a very sexy and steamy story. To say that Kane and Kara have some major chemistry going on would be an understatement ! These two are on fire for each other, even if they want to deny it.
Nora's train wreck of a mother shows up and throws a monkey wrench into the plans and causes all sorts of problems. I am onto going to lie, I hated that there was really no resolve with her situation. It seemed very rushed, here she is all messy and then she is gone. I would have liked some sort of a resolution.to her ordeal.
Other than that issue I really enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the other siblings stories. .

Becoming a Legend was a good read.
I enjoyed the storyline and the characters entertained me with their romance.

I loved watching Kane and Nora get together, they made me laugh and swoon with their antics.

"Her eyes flickered down to his lips, then back to meet his gaze. “Let me guess, you’ll quiz me, and for each wrong answer I give, I’ll have to take off something I’m wearing?”

“Hell, Kitty," Kane said. "I was genuinely offering to help, but your idea is so much better. Let’s go with that.”"

They were likable and relatable characters, their shared a strong attraction and the chemistry was off the charts!
I had no doubt these two would have a long and happy life together.

Overall, Becoming a Legend is a well written and entertaining read and I highly recommend it.
