This book was amazing for my seven year old. He is a lot like the main character. I feel like reading this book together each day helped him feel seen in his own way. He can't always express himself well and this book helped him to do that for a short time. Thank you!
This is a good story for a toddler or preschooler. It sort tries to explain many contradicting ideas- sometimes they are big boys and girls, other time, still to little, too shy, too bold, too quiet, too loud..it's being all those things that make them themselves.
Growing up is process one cannot avoid. For parents kids got young in blink of an eye, but for kids it is very very slow process.
They went though various stages, they learn many things which they fear or feel shy about earlier. This story takes us through one such rabbit and various activities he has done during his growing up period.
(I received an ARC from the NETGALLEY)

A young fox discovers that he is many things...he can sometimes be shy and sometimes be bold...but whatever he is, he is always him which is special. A very inspiring and cute story for young kids - older toddlers to age 5 or 6. I would definitely recommend this book to small little tots.
I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t understand the title until I opened the book, and then it became perfect. I loved it.
An engaging little book for the Pre-K set, which will help them understand that "sometimes" we can be strong or weak or giving or receiving or loud or inside or outside. Basic concepts are showcased. Marketed as a book about "identity," I wasn't sure what to expect. Four stars and worth a look.
