This really was a great concept, but I couldn't quite get into it. It really didn't catch my attention.

I could not get into this book so I ended up listing it as did not finish. The writing wasn't clicking properly for me.

Can we just talk about the creativity of this book for a sec? Because like holy heck! the thought that went into writing such a well put together story involving dimension jumping was insane!

So many times you see books dealing with some sort of time travel or dimension hoping that get muddy and confusing when it comes to how they work. But Infinity didn't. It had a band of awesome characters, some action, some suspense and drama. And I loved every bit of it.

Infinity will pull you in and you wont be able to stop until you've reached that last page. Like sleepless nights sort of pull you in haha

For sure a 5 star read

received in exchange for a honest review.

The book is intriguing. The concept is imaginative and the world building is good. You would think that there wouldn’t be world building but considering how Cade, Dylan and Noah end up where Kori is it is more like project building of the world than anything else.

Characters:

Kori-stubborn, smart, sassy and independent. She has an attraction to Cade but doesn’t trust it due to Cade’s past.

Cade-smart, kind, honest and sweet. He is one that faces things when in front of him except when it came to his past love Kori. For him that was a hard one to swallow.

Noah-stubborn, bad boy but has a heart of gold like Cade. Both of them are fiercely loyal and kind. Noah comes off as one who doesn’t care but I think he is afraid to due to the outcome from the past dimensions he has been to.

Dylan-a dodgy guy. He is selfish and self destructive. He is also maniacal.

Story:

Very well written and complex and yet entertaining. It intrigues you with the concept and holds your attention with the plot and characters. Seeing Kori hold her own when she is in danger is great to see.

Romance:

A little quirky not quirky fun just quirky. Cade and Kori have a lot of issues to get past and the fact that she is in danger doesn’t help the situation. The attraction is there just a past that has one feeling guilt and another feeling scared and that the feelings aren’t real. It does take awhile for both to see the truth.

Plot:

Dylan has been hurt and is out for revenge. To get his revenge, he goes about harming those that Cade loves. In all dimensions, Dylan goes about doing this except in the one where Kori is it is harder. She proves more worthy and he is challenged. Cade and Noah are trying to stop Dylan and in the process Cade finds Kori. The danger is out there and at the end it is a nice finish that gives some closure but also has the door open for more.

Fantastic read, well written with a great plot and characters. I was engrossed from start to finish. The twists and turns are so well placed you don't even see them coming. I can't wit to read the next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Netgalley.

I struggled to really get into this to be honest; I felt the story introduced a bit too quickly, which is a shame because the premise does sound like something I would enjoy. We went from having a daughter of a general, Kori, who lived a relatively normal life on an army base to suddenly being caught up in a situation of parallel worlds. However the reaction was not at all expected - the world as you know it has been turned upside down, not to mention you are now the subject of a literal hunt, but Kori just didn't seem to have an opinion on this at all.
This story did however provide the basis of what could be a romance; I would've liked to know Kori better as a character though, and for her love of art to hold more of a weight in the story. It was action-packed and definitely kept up a good pace, and therefore the reader will remain engaged on this front. The writing style is also good and it does flow nicely, but the downfall for me was the character development. There are two more books in the series however, so this may be something that comes to light in those books.
I would've liked to see more concentration on introducing the characters and making them a little more 3-dimensional as there was a lot to fit into such a short book. It does mean that this book is likely to appeal to a variety of readers as it contains sci-fi, romance, and action plot lines, but I would've liked to see more time spent on each of these individual areas.
For me connecting with a protagonist is really quite important and unfortunately I couldn't do that with Kori. However I will continue to read this series because this book did hold promise.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. Time travel books can be tricky; they have to be done correctly. It takes a very special author to make it all work, and Jus Accardo did not disappoint! I am looking forward to the next book!

Infinity is a young adult time-traveling scifi novel. Kori’s normal, boring life soon gets extremely interesting and dangerous when she finds herself in the middle of some inter-dimensional battle. Not only is she fighting for her own life, but the life of others as well. This story follows Kori as she, Cade, and Noah race against time to try to find the key players in Kori’s dimension, before Dylan finds them first and eliminates them.

While this revolves around Dylan traveling to Kori’s dimension in the hopes of killing her and the Tribunal members who sentenced him to death in his own dimension, there isn’t any actual dimension jumping in this installment. Instead, Cade, Kori, and Noah race all over the place, trying to find the Tribunal members before Dylan does. Not to mention, that since Cade is the real person Dylan is angry at, Kori is the one with the target on her back. In their dimension, Kori and Cade were in love. So, Dylan has it set in his mind that if he kills the Kori’s in every dimension, that it will be payback enough for what Cade did. It was all a bit over-dramatic if you ask me.

I liked the idea of this story. I can’t say that I’ve read any dimension-traveling stories before. However, with all the excitement and suspense, I found myself a little bored. I don’t know why exactly I didn’t connect with the characters, but I just didn’t. Kori’s whole back and forth with Cade was a bit repetitive. I mean, how many times do you need to make out with him to see how it would feel? Only to be put off by the fact that you are pretty sure that while your sucking face, he’s getting you confused with his Kori. I’m hoping that now that the wheels have started turning, the next book will be more entertaining for me.

A little less dialogue than I typically like. I didn't get as invested in the characters as I thought I would. They were still likable even gruff Noah. Story was good and not confusing even with the idea of multiple Earths. There was action and the ending did leave an opening for the next book. Overall a good start to the series. I received an ebook at no charge for which I voluntarily provided an honest review.

Okay so I started out by accidentally reading book 3 (which still made sense but am super glad I went back and reread from book 1)...whoops...

So when I came back to book 1 I was scared that knowing the final outcome that I would not like books 1 and 2 as much, but boy was I wrong. Book 1 consumed my soul. The writing took me into this story deeper than what I thought it would. I became more attached to the characters and fell hard in love with each of them. I feel like going back and reading book 1 made me connect more to the final outcome of book 3 and end up really making me like it for all the more. The writing in this book was still just as flawless as book 3! Jus really knows how to set a scene and pull you in! You can definitely see even in just one book how much characters grow and the world built expands rapidly. 5 stars from me!

tw: parent death, assault, swearing (I have no problem with swearing but Kori curses like a sailor and that might not be suitable for a younger audience)

It is apparent I am getting to science fiction. Who would have thought that would ever happen. Course, pair it with this absolutely breathtaking cover helps. I solely requested this book because of the cover. Once I read this book, I discovered my soul sister, Kori.

Kori Anderson. What an absolutely incredible MC. She reminded me a lot of Evie, from The Diviners series. Kori is not perfect. She is brash, wears her heart on her sleeve (but will never willingly admit it) and is just looking for someone to confined it after her mom died. She is a little lost and lonely, with her dad being in the military. She is an artist and is terrified of frogs. Yes, that is important. I am TERRIFIED of frogs and have never met an MC that was afraid of them until now. My heart sings with joy at this silly little detail. It literally is not mentioned after that one time but I can't help but get super excited about it.

Moving on to the plot. For a time traveling/dimension book, I was not confused at all. Things were explained well considering Kori has no really experience with science. Her domain was art. With science fiction books that is one of the major things I look for, if the science makes sense. And it so did!

This honestly would have been the perfect book but there were a few things that really bothered me, hence why it got 4 (four) stars. One was Noah. He was so rude and so disrespectful to Kori for certain spoilery reasons at first. He was borderline abusive and I cringed whenever Kori talked to him or tried desperately to gain his approval. Granted he had a traumatic event happen but that is never a good reason to be abusive to someone. He turned out okay after a while and chilled out. But I still remember the cruelty and I wasn't sold on him quite yet. The second book is about him so hopefully he'll get some sort of redemption arc.

The other complain is Dylan. He was the "villain" of the story. I liked him at first because Jus Accardo made us feel sorry for him. What he was doing was born out of a need and that need drove him to do things that were unspeakable. But I could understand that and even very slightly empathize with him. But toward the end, he reminded me of one of those really over the top comedic villains. It was like he lost the reason why he was doing what he was doing. He was just doing things for sheer shock value. Look at me. I'm rooting for a villian. What is wrong with me??

Overall, this was great. The cover's beauty definitely matches the story with in. I guarantee you guys will fall in love with Kori, like I did. She is in the top 10 best MCs ever. Don't sleep on this book!

This book is really awesome.
The characters all evolve so much.
At first it was a little confusing.
However after getting into it more I was blown away.

I was eager for this book from the moment I heard about it, and boy am I so glad I read it!! I absolutely love books dealing with parallel universes / the multiverse and travel between them... and this thriller from Jus Accardo is an excellent addition to that group I love so much. This is actually the first book by Ms. Accardo that I've read, although I have several others that she's written, and I will be reading those soon now that I've had a taste of her writing!

I think Ms. Accardo did a great job of setting up the world for the reader, giving us great insight into the characters and their motivations. I really liked Kori, the MC, and her "voice," and to some degree that is because I identified with her as a military brat. My dad was in the Air Force for 20 years, and although he wasn't a tough-as-nails Army general and didn't helm a top secret, super important government project, I understood Kori because of that connection. To some extent, the book reminded me of Liz Norris' Unraveling duology, and Kori herself reminded me of one of my absolute favorite characters, Farris from Sherry Ficklin's #Hackers series. (Those are both very positive comparisons, and if you loved Infinity and Kori, I highly recommend checking both of those out if you haven't read them!)

I loved the way the multiverse was explained, in a way that made it easy to understand and yet complex enough that it's not hokey. The mystery was allowed to slowly unravel for us, so that I was constantly surprised by what happened next and what the next big reveal would be. I absolutely cannot wait to follow Kori, Cade (yum!), and Noah on more adventures and I will be waiting on pins and needles for the next book!

Disclaimer: I received an e-ARC of this book from the publisher. This review and rating are my honest feelings after reading the book.

I thought that this story was going to be different but I am glad it wasn't. It's action packed dash with romance. Kori is a girl who has lost her mother and has an army general for a father. Life seems like it's just going to be simple. She gets pushed into a world of danger and romance. Kori's dad sends two guys (Cade and Noah), whom she thinks are just army dudes to babysit her, turns out that they are from a parallel dimension. Her life just gets crazier and crazier from that point on. There's a part where they're talking about technology from Cade and Noah 'world', that was just one of my favorite parts of this book because there are people in this room who's just finding out about traveling between dimensions, and how it's different. Just made me want to know more about the different dimensions.

Parallel dimensions are in my top three favorite sci-fi topics to read (Or even watch) about. I just love this idea. So, I knew I had to read this one. I really enjoyed this book, finished it in one day. Because it's just an easy book to get lost in. The characters have these great push and pull moments, and you wanna know what happens. There are many little plots that make up one huge plot.

The authors writing follows smoothly just a great mix of everything I love in a Science Fiction book.

Infinity (The Infinity Division #1) by Jus Accardo was read and reviewed part of a blog tour but all these thoughts are all mine and what I truly think of this book.

**4.5 Stars**
Kori has been pretty empty since the death of her mother 2 years ago, feeling alone and listless, her only escape the street art her General father would be horrified to know she creates. When an encounter in the middle of the night with a strange guy who seems to know her makes her uneasy, her night gets even worse when a police officer catches her with her spray paint. Expecting punishment, she is surprised when he dad goes out of town on business as planned and her "babysitters" are two stranger her age instead of the military guys she is use to . When she has another encounter with the creepy guy that almost costs her her life, Kori comes to the conclusion that she has no idea what is going on.

I had been eyeballing this book for the last year since I heard about it's existence. The cover was cool, the premise sounded interesting and different, and I heard great things about the author, so was I ever so excited to get my hands on this book. I can happily say that it lived up to my excited, but I could never have predicted the way I was sucked into this world (worlds?) or the twists the plot threw at me, as well as the increasing tension between the characters and the dynamics of the relationships (I feel so torn over Cade and what I hope will happen and I really loved Noah). This is the start of a teen sci-fi/fantasy series where I can only guess where it will go next.

This book had a nice blend of plot as well as character development, making it just what I wanted. I like that all the sci-fi stuff and mystery was a slow reveal, the reader learns what is going on right along with the main character Kori, which is one of my favorite world development styles. She thought she was just having another normal, slightly lonely day when in actuality her world is about to get bigger and much more complicated. We learn about the alternate realities and other versions of people a single encounter at a time until the possibility of seeing these worlds becomes a real possibility. There are so many mysteries that the book started, some resolved and others left hanging, peaking my interest and imagination. I really enjoyed that each world had some slight tweaks, not everything is the same but with perfectly reasonable explanations of the changes.

Overall this book had a strong female main character who could face challenges without backing down and knew her own mind and strengths. I rooted for Kori, as well as the boys who just so happened to become so important to her. I can't wait to read the next book and see where the Infinity Division will end up next...

I received this title in return for my honest review.

Infinity is the first installment in author Jus Accardo's The Infinity Division series. 17-year old Kori Anderson is something of a rebel. She really doesn't get along with others. But, as an artist, she loves to defile public property with her artwork. She's been caught doing hard core tagging. Kori, as you have surmised, has a penchant for getting herself into trouble. Call it acting out if you will after losing her mother a few years before.

Add that to some very interesting inner dialogue, and you have the strange tale of Kori Anderson. To top things off, Kori is the daughter of an Army General who is currently stationed at Fort Hannity Army Base in Welb, New York. (My mind immediately went to Fort Drum which is about 30 miles from the Canadian border). Kori's father travels a lot for work, but he has been keeping a very interesting secret. A secret that comes at Kori quickly and without warning in the form of Dylan, who somehow knows her name and decides to play a dangerous game of cat and mouse that has consequences for everyone involved.

A game that has its routes in another place altogether. Noah Emeal and Cade Granger are two characters that are sent by her father to keep her out of trouble, and keep her safe. They really don't know what they have to deal with until they get the whole Kori affect. Now that someone apparently wants Kori dead, secrets about a group known as The Infinity Division and her father's real job come tumbling out. The whole idea that there is someone who wants to kill me part of this story unless he gets what he wants, more than pulled its own weight against what the Infinity Division is supposed to be about; parallel earth's.

The Infinity Division has the ability to jump from place to place. As you would imagine, there is a bit of romance in this story. That romance sits on the shoulders of Kori and Cade. In one way, this romance made me a bit uncomfortable for reasons that have nothing to do with abuse, but the fact that they are from two different worlds, and are apparently in love in almost every single parallel Earth's. Have you ever read Claudia Gray's Firebird series? If so, you will most likely enjoy this series as well.

Infinity (The Infinity Division #1)
Jus Accardo
Book Review: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Kori is a free spirit and isn't good at following the rules. After getting into a little trouble, her Army General Dad sends her a babysitter, while he is away. Cade isn't what you would expect. He's intense and clearly more than he seems. Kori has more problems than the law. Everyone has their secrets, but some are bigger than others. Her family are at the forefront of a scientific discovery that could change everything.

This is a sci-fi fantasy book with romance, mystery, and a whole lot of trouble. It creates an interesting fantasy concept that will leave you wanting more.
