Always love a Scott read! She never disappoints!! Great story, hot characters and just an awesome read!
The emotions in this book are serious. This book series will break you, but you will never regret reading it! The author is quite good at pulling on your emotional strings.
Reading about Kacey and Theo and how their feelings developed for each other was amazing. I loved reading about their relationship. There connection was deep.
This book is about the power that love has. The connections the loss and trying to rebuild.
This is definitely one of my all time favorite series! And I highly recommend this book!
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for honest review. Since this is the second book in the duet I went and read Full Tilt first. I LOVE THIS DUET. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I became so engrossed in these books that I have read both in approx. 18 hours (crazy I know). I am so in love with these characters and their paths that pulled them away from each other and brought them all back where they belong.but hot damn was I wrong.
I got a bit nervous about the second book thinking there is no way I could love this second love story that is occurring.
I feel like I could keep reading their stories forever. This was written so well. Very expressive and very intense. I cannot wait to read more from this author!!!! A HUGE 5 STARS! I wish I could give more stars!
I am 100% recommending these books and this author to everyone.
What a truly amazing series! Full Tilt will break you into a thousand pieces and yet you'll be happy for the experience. While All In will slowly piece you back together again, leaving you with a peaceful joy in the end. It's a true talent in an author to make readers feel so much about fictional characters. That's exactly what this series did for me. I highly recommend reading both Full Tilt and All In. I guarantee it will be worth every bit of the heartache, tears and finally the joy.

I truly loved this story of hope and second chances. Despite the huge loss affecting them both, Theo and Kacey manage to lean on each other and in doing so find a love even greater than either could have imagined. Throughout the book, Theo shows so much strength and character. Kacey struggles to get over Jonah almost drowning in the process. But, Theo saves her, and then they save each other. This book was emotional and heartfelt. Another 5 Star read by Emma Scott!

This is the second book of the Full Tilt duo and it should not be read as a standalone. Do not read it as a standalone, you'll get spoilers and believe me you will not enjoy the book half as much as you should.
The experience of reading this duo is amazing, yes very heartbreaking but so enjoyable and beautiful. Seriously, read Full Tilt and then All In. You won't regret it.
This series will stay with me for a LONG time. My heart still hurts from the first book and reading the second one was not easy, the first few sentences made me cry, actually a lot of moments throughout the book made me cry. But it was beautiful to read Theo and Kacey's journey. It was sad and even frustrating at times but also so sweet and rewarding. I loved the reading experience with this duo, it was the kind of heartbreaking that I love so so so much. It was really special. I love all angsty, heartbreaking books but not all those make me cry. This duo sure had that power and I guess I just connected with it. I need a paper copy of this duo asap!! I only buy my favorites and these ones need to be on my book shelves.

This is Book 2 in the Full Tilt Duet. A beautiful emotional continuation of tragedy, hope and love...
"Where there is ruin, there is hope for treasure."
Emma Scoot and her extraordinary storytelling has made her one of my favorite authors. Her words hit into the meaningful depths of my soul. They bring forth joy, sadness, hope and love. This journey is painful, cathartic and beautifully awakening for Theo Fletcher and Kacey Dawson.
When tragedy hits a family, the recovery seems inconceivable. With Jonah's death, Kacey his girlfriend, Theo his brother, and his parents are thrown into a sea of sorrow. Everyone grieves differently. Some are destructive, some retreat into themselves, others dive back into work and others are left to be the caretakers of all the others. Theo Fletcher is the glue that is holding everyone together except for Kacey, who couldn't cope and fled Las Vegas, only to start drowning her sorrows in New Orleans.
This is an emotional story. It's heartbreaking yet uplifting. Kacey is a drowning girl. Alcohol is her only friend, it numbs her and keeps her sorrow controllable. Theo has been left to pick up the pieces left by Jonah's death.
He made a promise to his brother and when Kacey disappeared, that promise failed.
But hope is always close and when Theo finds Kacey, their healing finally begins. This story of two souls who are left to pick up the pieces after tragedy is absolutely beautiful. It touches all the emotions. From tears to laughter to joy to closure.........and eventually to love. Theo and Kacey's journey isn't easy but it's one that is healing and leads to an open heart once again.
Everyone should read this duet. It's cleansing, healing, hopeful and loving. A definite Favorite of 2017❤️❤️❤️
I predicted that Kacey and Theo would be the subject of All In while reading Full Tilt. I noticed small things like Kacey thinking Theo fit what she normally would find attractive compared to Jonah and a few things like that, but around the 70% mark when she stopped to ask Theo how he was doing when no one else had I knew that I was right.
Of course considering that I struggled with Kacey and her instincts to drink herself into oblivion when things get tough at the beginning of Full Tilt, it's no surprise that I found myself rolling my eyes at where we find her in All In. And so it felt like a bit of a repeat to see her have to work through this same issue but to an even worse extent than before.
Theo was the true hero of Full Tilt despite how much I loved Jonah. Theo was solid. He was always, always there for everyone. He was constantly looking out for those in his circle. I loved the loyalty and steadfastness of his character. And that was true in All In as well. Theo's journey was about finding a way to continue to take care of those he loves as well as satisfy his own needs and desires. His dreams of owning his own tattoo shop and the girl that he's fallen in love with.
Kacey and Theo have a SLOW building relationship. Theo's feelings have been developing for a lot longer than Kacey's, but Kacey does have a little bit more to work through than Theo does in order to get on the same page. I enjoyed how the slow pace made things feel more authentic. Any faster and Kacey's feelings for Jonah couldn't have been as strong as they were. Yet the gradual development lowered the intensity level for me. Sometimes slow burn makes the pay off even better. Don't get me wrong, I loved the outcome and how things ended up, but I didn't feel the fever to keep reading until I'd read every last page like I did with Full Tilt.
One of my frustrations with Full Tilt revolved around the frequency of sexual scenes, I was happy to see that wasn't the case for All In. Yet the language was just as much.
Favorite quote:
-"Accept that which has ended and let go so you can move on. So you may grow. So you may thrive."
I very much enjoyed All In. I enjoyed the slow build from the end of Full Tilt to the end of this book. Yet the slow burn didn't hold the intensity for me that book 1 had. I loved Theo the most, yet the emotion just wasn't on the same level for me. All In turns out exactly how I wanted and that means it gets 4 Stars. Have you read All In? What did you think? Let me know!
Kacey is a suffering girl who found the meaning of life with Jonah and lost track when Jonah was gone. Likewise Theo is having to move on without his brother and despite everything he takes care of his family that has completely dismantled . The book is divided into three parts and begins with the two of them separated and suffering greatly from the consequences of what happened in the previous book. Each in their own way is having to deal with life, with pain, with sadness and feel powerless.
Kacey is not ready for a new love and Theo does not feel worthy of being loved.
Step by step Kacey realizes the reason Jonah has come into her life and moves on with her career and her dreams. Theo is still poorly understood by his father and misses his brother very much. The two live one day at a time and gradually discover their strength to fight for what they really want.
I met Emma Scott with The Butterfly Project and fell in love with her writing. It was no different with All In. She succeeds in making the reader dive into the plot and live along with the characters their sufferings and joys. With each chapter, I felt more and more sucked by the story of Kacey and Theo, I found myself twisting, sighing and thrilled.
Emma Scott went step by step building each character's path toward healing their hearts and did it splendidly.
For those who like a hot drama, All In is a great tip. A book about resilience and new beginnings.
4/5 stars.
Kisses, Myl
Emma completely rips your heart out at the beginning of 'All In' but puts it back together beautifully in this tear jerker of a novel.
Emma Scott is fast getting to be a favorite authors. Loved this two-book series.
There's so much hard emotion in this book. Halfway thru book one I guessed where it was going, even thought I hoped I was wrong. I couldn't wait to get my hands on book two. The story is beautiful, full of pain and hope. There's a lot of sexy times and funny moments too. A great finish to the duet.
A promise to love and live life, I'm so glad I had this book to read straight after book 1 of this powerful duet.
The way the story unfolds and who is there for each other and how they hold together throughout it all is epic. Jonah is forever present in the forefront of thoughts and splashed across the pages as Kacey and Theo try to recognise and honour him
The complexity of the story and the essence of the tale is handled and written beautifully and as a reader all you want is for the main characters to be happy once again, find love in loss and build a future filled with love as promised.
I adored the first part of this duet, but this was just above and beyond it was everything and certainly deserves more than the 5 Stars on offer
5 +++ Stars

This book is a fantastic follow-up to an amazing book. I absolutely loved the first book in the series and this book was just as amazing. I absolutely hated that we had to let go of Jonah to a certain extent, but as they say time stops for no one. Even though Kacey was the drowned girl she was surrounded by the right people and I'm glad they tried to help her. I'm glad things worked out for both Kacey and Theo. They were so lost and fighting their battles in their own way and they both deserved to get what they wanted out of life. I loved this series and I recommend everyone giving it a try. This series will definitely be recommended to all of my book friends.
Emma Scott is a new author to me and I am kicking myself that I waited so long to start reading her books. After finishing Full Tilt, I was so, so happy that I was able to start right into All In. I needed to know what life was like for the people that had lost Jonah. **Spoiler alert right here: If you don't know what I'm referring to in regards to Jonah, stop now! You must read Full Tilt first before reading All In. These two books are a duet and must be read in order.**
So as I was saying, I desperately needed to know how Kasey and Theo and everyone were handling losing Jonah. He was the glue that held everyone together. He was so deeply ingrained in all of their hearts, that I couldn't even imagine how any of them were going to keep going after such a huge loss. Well, Kasey, she wasn't faring so well, and my heart broke for her all over again reading about her spiral.
Jonah was the first person who had totally loved and accepted Kasey and now she's lost, drowning in a sea of grief. She runs, leaving behind the people who had become her family, because she couldn't handle her own grief, let alone watching anyone else suffering too. And those old demons from her past rear their ugly head, calling her back to the dark side of living in a state of numbness.
Theo has been hurting just as badly as Kasey, but he's become the rock of his family, holding his mom together while his father buries himself in work. He's made certain promises to Jonah, ones that seem impossible to accomplish but he's going to try all the same. Some will be easier than others, and some had already happened before Theo even agreed to them.
Emma has such a mastery of writing such beautiful moments in the midst of so much grief and heartache. No one truly knows how to go on without Jonah being there, and yet, somehow they do. Days pass and somehow everyone makes it through them. Some days are harder than others, but other days start to pop up that seem a little easier, have more light in them than darkness. I was impressed how Emma doesn't rush any of this, the story unfolds at it's own pace and it felt natural and organic.
The slow burn between Kasey and Theo was perfect. Each feeling something they don't think they're supposed to but can't help it. What started out as friendship has morphed into an intense, all encompassing love that burns so brightly there's no way to extinguish it's light. So many times I was talking to my Kindle, saying, "Just tell her! Just tell him! Give in to your feelings!"
All while Theo and Kasey are dealing with their grief and their burgeoning feelings for each other, they're both still dealing with their strained relationships with their fathers. I loved how they were each there to be a source of strength, support and encouragement for the other. My heart broke for Kasey and Theo for multiple things that they had to deal with. Kudos to Emma for the depth of emotion she infused throughout this book in every aspect of every storyline. Wow....just wow.
This book was packed full of emotion and I smiled as much as I cried. One of my most favorite scenes occurs at the very end between Theo and his father. "I see you, Theo. I see you. If Jonah was the glue that held us together, you're the rock we set our backs to. I'm proud of you for that. I'm so proud that you're my son." Cue the tears once again!!
Everything came full circle in this story and I was so truly happy at the journey that Emma took us on. I have now become an Emma fan for life!
I read the first book in this duet, Full Tilt, late last year and LOVED IT. Jonah was pretty much amazing and I seriously loved him. Which is why I didn't pick up All In right away. I wasn't sure exactly how I would feel about the story continuing without him, and having Kacey fall in love again. I needed some time to grieve!
It's been about 6 months since then (and a few other Emma Scott novels read!), so I figured it was time.
The first half of this book spends a lot of time on the characters we left in the first book, Kacey and Theo (Jonah's brother) especially, and how they are grieving and dealing with the loss of Jonah. In ways, I appreciated this since it helps the reader as well! It did make for a fairly melancholy book, though I think that it was incredibly well-done. The grief is handled with both delicacy and heart in a satisfying way.
The rise and fall of the journey for Theo and Kacey is simply wonderful, with a solid foundation of friendship that slowly grows to be more. These two characters were well-matched, and there were some really sweet and sexy scenes between them. Their romance felt like a more mature romance, and had a more "final" feel to it.
That all said, Theo isn't Jonah, and I'm not sure I was able to get over Jonah enough to truly give Theo the chance he deserved. He is a fantastic and caring character, but the transition from friends to more was a bit difficult to stomach at times, since Jonah was basically always a little present. I just couldn't really invest in Theo & Kacey as a couple in the same way that I had in Jonah & Kacey.
I just didn't like the book and didn't finish it. It was just not something that I could get into. It was probably due to the fact that it was the second book in the series and I didn't realize that until after I started reading it.
Emma Scott is a phenomenal story teller. Kacey is devastated and leans on Teddy after losing Jonah. Their love was different, but perfect for them. Trying to compare them to what she had with Jonah is unfair to the beauty of this story and the love they shared.
is the epic conclusion to The Full Tilt Duet!! This is such an awesome read!! I fell in love with Jonah and Kasey's story and wasn't sure about how I was gonna feel about Kasey and Teddy together! Let me just say that I freakin love Teddy!! He's my new hero!! Such a selfless man!! He stood by Kasey when she hit rock bottom and continuously stayed by her side. I love the journey they take together as they slowly heal each other through their love. This book had me twisted Inside out and back again! Such a heartwarming conclusion!!
Free copy kindly received from the author via Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.
This book is a sequel to Full Tilt, which must be read before this book and this review.
Having just finished Full Tilt, I was keen to start All in. What a prologue, the book reeled me straight in and immediately grabbed at my heartstrings.
This book was a beautiful follow up to Full Tilt. I wasn't entirely sure where the author would go with All in and after reading the prologue, I couldn't believe that I hadn't seen the signs in the previous book.
I loved that what I presumed would be the end of Kacey and Theo’s story wasn't and the book continued on.
Emma Scott writes beautifully with real emotion behind her characters. I am eager to read the rest of her back catalogue.
