Chapter 1: The Chef’s Favorites
Chapter 2: Influential Cooks
Chapter 3: Cookbook Directory

The cookbooks listed in this book vary greatly. From Irish, to French, and Spanish to Italian and everything in between, there is something for everyone. Each chef discusses his/her favorite cookbook and why. There are photographs accompanying each entry along with a picture of the chef. What is amazing to me is the fact that some of these cookbooks were published in the 1970s. There were many chefs but the only one I recognized was Jamie Oliver. If you are interested in cooking, this might be a good book for you.

This is not a cookbook, but rather a book about cookbooks. Renowned chefs (if you watch cooking shows, you’ll recognize many of the names) dish (pun intended) on what books influenced their cuisine, their technical cookery, and their lives. I’m not sure I would run out and buy all the books they mention, but it is a good starting point for checking out other cookbooks.

My apologies – I did not have the chance to read this book before the epub expired. Thank you for the opportunity.
