Would you protect your younger sister or brother at all cost? Would you kill for your younger brother or sister? Even if it was your own parent?
This is the choice Telly had to make as a young boy, kill or be killed at the hands of his own parent.
To protect himself as well as his little sister, Telly had to make the choice to end a person's life in order to maybe live his own and so his sister could grow up to become an adult.
After the death both kids are put in foster care. Telly is in and out of many foster homes because of his "acting out". His sister, Sharlah May, at thirteen comes to the home of couple Pierce Quincy and Raine Conner. After a while of being in their home she is told they are going to adopt her. She is still trying to adjust even after a few years of being in this home.
Quincy and Raine are both involved with the police/FBI force and are called out to a double murder. While viewing the store camera footage they see a face on the screen they could not have even imagined. Is this real or is it a set up? Is Sharlah May in trouble or just a pawn?
