Super fun and sexy read! I was in a reading slump and this book was a good cleanser . My first book but this author.
I really do love a forbidden romance story, particularly an older brother's best friend love story so this sounded right up my street. While for the most part this book was exactly as I expected it to be, there were a lot of sweet and tender moments that I appreciated and I enjoyed the initial friendship between our two main characters.
However once the sexual relationship developed, there was some dialogue I wasn't really comfortable with which eventually made me put this book down as I didn't really agree with it.
Now I want to point out that this book is nearly four years old now, and this may have changed for future publications/this may have been an early work of the author's.
Oh boy! I enjoyed Sweet Girl even more than Sweetness. I shouldn't be surprised - it featured all of the trope-y goodness I loved in the first book, and doubled-down by adding the best friend's sibling/sibling's best friend scenario I'm bananas for! Ky and Van are everything! I loved how emotional yet sweet their story is; the angst is real but it's balanced really well with some levity and steaminess too. Once again, the secondary characters are fantastic and I'm so happy to have access to the entire series so I can continue my binge! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.
I unfortunately was not able to read this book before the archive date. Someday I hope to read and review it for my blog.
Wow, I was so captivated through the entire book, beginning to end. Sexy, fun, and exciting! Great read.
3 meh stars from me. I was ok. Fell a little flay. Kind of young.
Dnf at 17% i didnt connect with this one and I struggled through it before deciding to just dnf it. The characters annoyed me so very much!
I just couldn't get into this story I will try again and if I manage to read it then I will update my review on here.
This was my first journey into the Sweetest Series and it was a cute read. Van and Kylah are a cute couple and I'm a sucker for friends to lovers books. Van is super hot and Ky is super sweet and innocent. The storyline is a clichéd one, but it works. The characters are likeable and normal college type kids. All in all not bad.
