More great C.B. adventure but this time from the hunted side. A black thumb drives adds to the equation of a twisting thriller you will surely enjoy here!

C.B. should know you can never really 'leave' right?!?!

I said this once before and it bears repeating; Mason Cross and his protagonist Carter Blake definitely gives Lee Child and Jack Reacher a run for their money. Winterlong is a tremendously suspenseful, engaging and entertaining thriller. Carter Blake our hero is a man's man just like Jack Reacher and just like Jack Reacher, he is immensely entertaining. In this the third installment of the Carter Blake series he is on the run trying to escape from his former employers a shady deep cover operations group called Winterlong. I don't want to give away any intricacies of the plot. This is an utmost entertaining and absorbing novel. I read this book in about three days, canceling other reviews that I had been working on. Buy every single one of the three Carter Blake thrillers, they are simply outstanding.

Mason Cross is one of the very best of the new crop of thriller writers that have burst on the scene in recent years. Winterlong is no exception, well written and great action.

The newest addition to the Carter Blake series was just fantastic! The first two titles in the series hinted at Blake's interesting past with an elite paramilitary team of hitmen, but book three gives us the full story.

Highly recommended for those who enjoy David Baldacci or Lee Child.
