The first book in this series, The Final Seven, was a hard one for me and I really thought I wouldn't read another book in this series. However, when it comes to Erica Spindler I just can't NOT read her books. Triple Six was a lot better book for me. It was still about light and dark forces but it told the story a lot better. After reading this second book I am positive I will move on to book three.

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to have read this. I don't normally read paranormal fiction, so this was a treat for me, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. I loved the way each character developed their personality from the start and how it made me feel "part" of the book. Great read, and recommended for a paranormal newbie like me.

Excellent book! as soon as I finished I looked to see if the next one in the series is written yet hurry Erica! This is the second in the series (first one is The Final Seven) you don't have to read them in order but I would suggest you do, it gives you the history of these delightful characters. Sit back and read it even if it's not your usual genre (it wasn't mine) but it's so well written and such a great page turner you will enjoy it. Thank you for the ARC I am happy to give my honest opinion of this book.

What can I say> Erica Spindler does it again. I really enjoy Erica's novels, and tend to read them in one sitting. This was no different! Well worth a buy!

Triple six by Erica Spindler is a mystery and thriller read.
The countdown continues . . .
Detectives Micki Dare and Zach Harris are back.
It's been three months since that night - the night that Micki almost died. Physically, she's healed but the nightmares remain, and she can't shake the feeling that more happened that night than Zach is telling her. The only thing she can do is try to carry on as normal and solve the latest case she and Zach have been assigned to.
OMG an absolutely fantastic read with brilliant characters. Couldn't put it down. I loved the story. This is a must read and I would highly recommend this book. Definitely worth more than 5*. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book from netgalley.

Ms. Spindler is back doing what she does best - writing suspense! This is the second book in The Lightkeepers series. In all fairness, I have not read the first one yet, so I went into this a little confused but was able to grasp what was going down quickly. This is a wonderful supernatural thriller with a little romance in the background. I would recommend starting with the first one to fully enjoy them.

Set in New Orleans, detective Micki Dare is teamed with 'Light Keeper', Zach Harris in this police procedural/paranormal thriller.
The Light Keepers are determined to keep the Dark Bearers at bay, particularly as the Dark Bearers are forgetting non 'Bearers' in their fight for supremacy. Unbeknownst to the general public the NOPD have teamed with the Light bearers to fight crime.

Whilst investigating a series of home invasions, Zach senses Dark Bearer activity. This is a thrilling read with a liberal dose of romance thrown in and the paranormal element gives it the edge. I love a good cross genre crime fiction read and Triple Six is exactly that. Spindler's deft touch makes you care deeply about the
characters and the plot jogs along at a cracking rate too and I love the fact that she makes New Orleans come to life for me.
I thoroughly enjoyed this as an easy, satisfying weekend read and I'm sure you will too.

This is the second book in this series and I have loved both of them. Can't wait to see what else she is going to do with this series

I was given the opportunity to read Triple Six via NetGalley. This is my honest opinion of the book.

Micki Dare and her partner Zach Harris are featured in this second book of the Lightkeepers series. Micki is in the dark about her near death situation, although she is asking a lot of questions to find out the circumstances. Zach has been asked to keep the secret, but will he have no choice but to apprise Micki of the truth? When Micki and Zach are asked to work a series of home invasions, it becomes immediately apparent that this is the work of no ordinary criminals.

Most of the book was well paced, although it did lag a little in the middle. I did not particularly like the character of Angel and, since she is the focus of this book, I did not enjoy reading Triple Six as much as I thought I would. The supernatural aspects of the story are a little too few and far between, as I would have liked to see this portion developed further. Overall, Triple Six does set up a third book pretty nicely and I look forward to continuing with the series in the future.
