Tori Reed spends her life hiding behind her fun girl persona but some things are just to hard to ignore

Miles sees that Tori needs help and although their love hate relationship has always veered toward hate...he cant walk away when she needs him the most.

I voluntarily read this advanced review copy of this book

Overall I loved this book. I loved that Tori seemed like she had it all but she was hurting in a big way. Honestly to me she made me feel the most...her story sucked me and left me in tears. Miles I loved because he was a very low key hero. He may act like a jerk at times but he learned from his mistakes and is ready to be a new man.

Great job Tracy...this book blew me away

I haven’t read the first three books in this contemporary romance series though it didn’t take away from my understanding of the story or the character dynamics. Tori finds herself in a sex sandal and disowned by her father. Miles is the one to help her. In the beginning they hate each other. I liked Miles, Tori was a little harder for me to like.

I absolutely loved this!
I applaud Tori for standing up for herself and not giving up, even when her reputation, home and belongings are ripped from her.
Poor Miles tries to help her several times, even as she overreacts and storms off in anger. And yes, I definitely think she overreacted both times!
Their chemistry is steamy and their fights are even more heated, but somehow they still manage to realize they are in love.
The HEA was great, but I feel like the epilogue could have mentioned a blurb about her father and maybe what happened to Alex. It felt a little unfinished.
Still gave it 5 stars, though!!

I will say, I've been a fan of this author since the Extreme Risk novels. I have yet to read any Ethan books, but, as a series, I will say, it's certainly stand alone. Though it says Ethan Frost book 4, this was the first I've picked up. And man, was it worth it! Miles and Tori, they have such contrasting personalities, you have to wonder, how would it ever work. But it does. Spoiled rich girl who's daddy disowns her and takes away her money, she wants to stand on her own. Take a nerdy guy with money he's never had before, trying to be sweet and take care of the girl he has a crush on, sparks explode. This fiery novel will warm your heart, raise your hackles and certainly take you on a ride! I couldn't put it down! I'm dying now, and plan to go grab the other 3 books before this and read them! You can't help but feel bad for Miles as he steps away from his computer and navigates dating, while Tori learns to be a "real" girl instead of a trust fund baby! This book is just another example of why I love everything this author puts out!

I came to this title, the fourth in a series, without knowing that it was part of series, let alone the last book in the Ethan Frost series, which put me at quite a disadvantage, since the story is not about Ethan Frost but about his sister, Tori, who is also his wife Chloe's best friend. Tori is a rather snarky, spoiled, poor little rich girl who appears to be a Paris Hilton clone. The similarities are many--Tori has traveled all over the world, partied too much, changed her hair color the way most of us change our underwear, is covered with tattoos, has gotten drunk too often, gotten into trouble wherever she's gone, had many lovers, regularly made the gossip columns, and made one bad choice in men after another--and she's only twenty-three.

When we first meet her, she's on a blind date with a total jerk of a Christian Gray wannabe, and after sneaking out the back door she heads to her neighbor's engagement party being held on the roof of her building. While there, she bumps into her nemesis, Miles Girard, Chloe's older brother, with whom she's been trading insults and snarky remarks for the past year, who harbors a secret crush on her, and with whom she dances before next running into a former sex partner, hot British actor, Alexander Parsons, and again she makes yet another bad decision, getting rather drunk and snarky and teasing him into believing that they're going to get it on before she leaves him flat to return drunk and alone to her condo in the same building.

Tori wakes up the next morning, hungover and hearing someone pounding on her door. That someone is her obnoxious, self-centered, incredibly wealthy father, who is absolutely livid. Apparently, Alexander Parsons didn't like being led on and dumped and so he released a sex tape of himself and Tori, which, in the few hours that Tori has been asleep, has gone viral on social media. Utterly livid, Tori's father has had it with her and her escapades, not because he cares for her but because she makes him look bad. He gives her 5 minutes to pack a bag and get out of the condo he pays for from her trust fund, confiscates her credit cards, phone, iPad, and car, and disowns her. With no job, only a few articles of clothing, no other source of income and no shoes, she walks the two miles to Chloe's old house, believing it to be empty, but it isn't--Miles is in residence, and with her life in shambles, he's the last person she wants to see.

Miles is a type A techno-nerd bursting with smarts and ideas for the betterment of mankind. It's through him that we learn about how guilty he feels over his sister's high school rape, which I'm assuming was covered in a previous novel, and it's something that leaves a reader new to the series in the dark. This reader was eventually able to piece that story together--after being raped, Chloe's parents accept a payoff from the rapist which they use to help fund Miles' research, something Miles only learned about well after the fact.

When Tori is shocked to find Miles in residence, instead of telling her to get lost, he tends to her bruised and bleeding bare feet and in short order, their mutual dislike for one another turns into mutual lust and get ready for some sizzling hot sex scenes between these two. When he orders and buys Tori a new wardrobe, she doesn't want it and again is offended that he didn't consult her first. It was very difficult for this reader to like such an ungrateful, nasty bitch of a character.

Miles next decides, again without asking, to use his mad computer skills to help fix the problems in Tori's life by uncovering a scandal in Alexander Parsons' past and leaking it to the media, but rather than being grateful that she's no longer in the spotlight as Parsons' whore of an ex-girlfriend, Tori is livid, since Miles doesn't even ask her if she wants him to do this or discuss his decisions with her, something her father used to do. While I can understand her wanting to fix her life herself, Tori is the one who has made a mess of it in the first place and she doesn't have the first clue how to change.

While I found Miles to be only marginally more likable than Tori, both characters are equally flawed and equally immature. Within the span of a few short days they go from hating one another, to lusting for each other to insta-love, and while Tori deeply resents Miles' interference in her life, when her brother, Ethan, offers her a similar solution to her homelessness and joblessness, she accepts it without a fight, and by the time we get to that point in this novel, I found that I couldn't care less what happened to her, or understand what Miles found so appealing about her other than her body.

It's possible that I might have found fewer flaws in this novel and it's characters had I been following this series from the beginning, but since I hadn't been following it, the best I could do is give it a 2.5 star rating.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance reader copy of this novel.

Context is always important:

So, I was saying to my friend “Why don’t we ever get books about scientists like me? Don’t we get to fall in love?” And she said but the last Ethan Frost book was about a scientist, and I replied, “but Ethan was more billionaire than scientists,” “She said not Ethan, Chloe’s brother!”

I immediately started reading Flawed.

I was not disappointed

Finally a romance novel about a scientist's, and let me tell you, Miles did not disappoint. If you’ve read the entire series, then I know like me you’re probably apprehensive about reading about Chloe’s stupid brother, but give him a chance.

Miles stole my heart, and I’m not sure anyone will be able to find where he has hidden it. I loved that he was so willing to help, and though it annoyed Tori, I actually thought it was so kind and generous of him to try to help her, without her having to ask for the help. I think that’s the very definition of Prince Charming.

Now Tori has some serious baggage carrying around which is why she often misinterpreted Miles’ actions, but I think she was just such a fireball. I actually liked party hard Tori as much as clean and sober Tori. For me, anyone who is so willing to assist a friend in need (which Chloe was) without even thinking about it, is someone who deserves to be loved, and I get why Chloe would do anything for this girl.

I think that this story was so beautifully crafted, it took some really complicated convoluted topics, and it made it all clear and concise, and enjoyable. Great ending to the Ethan Frost Series.

Ummm, I wanted Flawed because of the cover. I didn't care what was between the pages. I just wanted to stare at the hottie and maybe lick the screen of my reading device. So it was beyond thrilling that the story beyond the cover was spectacular! I loved Flawed - it exceeded all of my expectations.

The book's enticing, suck you in drama kicks in right from the first few pages. Thanks to an ex deciding to share very private moment, Tori's world gets tossed upside down. Seriously. Not only does the world think she is a tart but her father disowns her - stripping her of everything from her money to her clothes.

Tori escapes to her best friend's home, thinking it will give her sanctuary while she recovers from the mess that is her life. However, it puts her directly in the space of a man she cannot stand but is desperately attracted to - Miles.

Ahhhh, melt my panties and make my heart race, Miles. I loved him... maybe more than Ethan. Everything he did in this book made me swoon. He's smart, charming and kind. And HOT. You. Will. Love. Him.

Their sexual tension is off the charts hot and their chemistry leaves you panting. But that's not all. They made me laugh. They made me feel. Their journey toward finding happiness and solace was entertaining and romantic as hell. I devoured scene after scene - anticipating what was going to happen next for this duo.

I find that I'm never happier than when I'm in the middle of a Tracy Wolff book. She creates the most intriguing and alluring characters whose lives are intense and entertaining. Reading Flawed made me so freaking happy and I cannot recommend it enough. Go now! You can thank me later!

There is a fine line between LOVE and HATE and in this story Miles & Tori definitely go from enemies to lovers because seriously with all of that built up sexual tension how can they do anything else?

Tori wakes up one morning to find that her life will never be the same and needs a place to crash for a little while so she heads over to her Best Friend Chloe's house only to find that Miles is actually staying there. Can things get any worse for her?

At first there is nothing that Miles can say to Tori to get her to open up about what happened, but then things start to change. It's a slow start to them forming a connection but when they do it's full steam ahead!

The chemistry between the couple is great, I loved their jabs at one another in the beginning and then loved it more when Miles was doing everything he could to help Tori without her knowing about it.
I felt that it showed his true character that he was keeping this HUGE secret from her because he wanted to fix whatever he could to give her the peace she deserved and he wasn't looking for anything in return, this was not a I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine type of deal.

Although this is the fourth book in the series it can totally be read on its own which is exactly what I did, but now that I know a bit about the main couple of the first three books I will go back and to read Etan & Chloe's story because I know there is a lot that had to happen for these two to get there HEA.

As always, Tracy Wolff's writing hits big. The ONLY problem I had with this book was how during the past 3 Frost books, Tori HATED, Chloe's brother, Miles with such a vengeance that was completely understandable. Yet in this story, they end up in bed, which makes up most of the book,

Even if Chloe has forgiven him, Tori just can't. He's now working alongside Ethan at Frost Industries, after having cut ties with his parents after finding out what they did to her. But when he comes to her rescue after being victimized in the worst possible way by an old "bed buddy" she begins to see another side of the "tech-geek" she's come to loathe.

Miles has been attracted to Tori, since he met her. The verbal sparring and insults between them are basically foreplay leading up to a spark that neither of them could resist. He wants to help her anyway he can now that she's lost EVERYTHING: her condo, trust fund, and e v even the shoes off her feet.

When he crosses the line by acting and not consulting, she thinks it's because she's the mess her Father accused her of being. That's just something she's come to expect, that no respects her; but she couldn't be more wrong about that.

Will these two strong minded people get past their stubbornness and see that their chemistry between them is much more than a fluke??

Read on!

This is the first book of this author's that I have read and while I have not read the previous books of the series I did not feel that lost. The characters Miles and Tori have issues with the past and with Tori, issues with the present and her decision making skills. I did like that Tori was a strong character that was able to realize that at times was in the wrong with her opinions/perceptions. I also liked that Miles did not just take what Tori dealt out. I felt that he was a strong character as well in that he had a lot of guilt about his role in his sister's past. I thought that the plot of this book moved along well and did not drag. Overall, I enjoyed this book from start to finish and would recommend it to others.

Tracy Wolff strikes again with a story that will bring you to your knees. Gosh I love Tracy Wolff’s books. She never ceases to amaze with stories that are striking at a story with meaning and purpose.

Tori Reed loved to party, but she’s turning her life around. When she goes to a friend’s engagement party and meets then ditches an ex she thinks everything is over. Little did she know someone was going to be seeking revenge and now she’s the butt of everyone’s joke. She’s been forced out of her home and is now living with a man she thought she’d never be able to stand. Miles Girard, her best friends brother who profited off his sisters’ downfall. He didn’t know it, but Tori holds him accountable all the same. Now they’re forced together under one roof and both are beginning to discover that there’s more to them than they ever thought.

So much love for this story. So, Tori and Miles have a complicated past, but find love with each other. I loved both characters so much and especially love dual POV so I was super psyched to be able to get into both of their heads.

Miles is a genius set to make things right with his sister by selling his invention to her fiancé Ethan Frost. He blames himself and his parents for what happened to her, and is trying to make amends. Miles and Tori don’t get along until they’re forced together. When he realizes someone is out to hurt Tori he does everything he can to make it right for her. Of course, this causes a lot of problems, but no relationship is perfect. I liked Miles a lot. He struggles with a lot of things about who Tori truly is versus who she is to the world. He makes a lot of mistakes, but he always does his best to make up for it.

Tori was a fun character to read about. She’s so realistic. After what happens to her she’s hurt and betrayed but so strong even when she wants to hide from the world. I loved her character so much. I think when reading about Tori it was inspiring to read about how strong and vulnerable a character can be. Tori never gave up on herself, never wanted to take from anyone even when she needed help. Seriously she was an amazing character and I’m so happy she got a happy ending.

So, I’m going to be a little spoiler-y in the sense that I’m going to mention some things that haven’t been mentioned in the blurb. Tori is slut shamed in this book and I find I am always drawn to stories like these. Tracy Wolff’s book Accelerate ties in really well to this idea of what happens to the women when society deems them “sluts” I seriously hate that word and find the whole thing disgusting, but I love how Tracy Wolff’s stories get right to the heart of what happens to the people this happens to and how we as a society need to do better by these victims instead of praising the perpetrator. Flawed has a beautiful message and I couldn’t be more in love with this story because of it.

If you enjoy books like Flawed with a similar theme and amazing writing I would suggest Accelerate by Tracy Wolff and Deeper by Robin York. I just can’t deny that I love books that help me think, but are also doused with romance so that everyone gets a happy ending.

Hot Geek!!! Yes!!!! OMG, I loved every word of this book. It was the perfect addition to the Ethan Frost series. I'm so glad that we get to see more of Tori. She was intriguing as a character in the previous three books in the series and I was looking forward to learning more about her. This really was a wonderful addition to this series and fit so perfectly with the rest of it. I loved that it was all contained in one book, that just made it my favorite of the entire series.

Tech geek and Ms Hot Mess…

Tori Reed is having the worst week of her life. Caught in a sex scandal, cut off from her trust fund with no home, car, phone, or clothes, she’s all but lost everything except her attitude. The facade she shows the world is a mask to hide behind, to hide how vulnerable she is. Except her best friend Chloe, no one knows how fragile, unloved she feels, and in need of genuine human goodness and warmth. Tori is mouthy, defiant, and quite a character with her multi-colored hair and tattoos. Now, feeling lost and adrift, she is determined to put on her big girl panties and get her life on track.

Miles Girard is protective of Tori, he is still feeling remorse over not being able to protect his little sister, and bitter for what his parents let happen to Chloe. It’s no secret Tori mistrusts him because of what happened to her best friend. Seems Tori feels as he’s the enemy, but Miles is making up for it by reconnecting with his sister, and working for Frost Industries. When Miles learns about the revenge tape Alex Parsons releases of Tori, he’s working tirelessly through the night to take down the video. He won’t let a unconscionable, selfish act ruin her life. But tenderness and good intentions from Miles get Tori a lot prickly, it’s unfamiliar and uncomfortable. Her newfound feelings and attraction for Miles leaves her confused and insecure.

Flawed is the fourth book in the Ethan Frost series, and reads as a standalone. I did not read the previous books but feel the author provided glimpses of the past enough to bring me up to date on the characters. I enjoyed reading Miles and Tori’s story, and loved the sizzle between these two unlikely characters. Enjoyed how swoon-worthy Miles is and how he gave Tori the much needed love, tender care and warmth she craved. Ms Wolff brings it all together in a wonderful epilogue.

I received a copy from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via NetGalley. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I really like Tracy Wolff's writing, and this book was charming and at other times bawdy as hell. The sex scenes were to die for and the characters were quirky and real. I found myself knowing and liking Tori and Miles by the end, especially their silly couples banter. Truly an engaging read that will resonate with everyone.

Tori can't believe that number one, she's notorious for a sex video, and number two, how her father suggests she should have behaved when her a$$hole ex tried to hit on her again. Really? No wonder she feels like her family has abandoned her.

Miles is still trying to make up for how his parents had treated his sister Chloe. In an effort to make amends, he's been trying to get to know the people in Chloe's life now--including her husband Ethan and her best friend Tori. What he doesn't want to explore, though, is his insane attraction to Tori. While she can barely stand to be around him, he's been working hard to get in her good graces.

Unfortunately, until Tori gets over how Miles had ignored his parent's behavior, she's not going to trust him.

Suddenly, when Tori's life is torn apart by an ex's desire for revenge, she's finding out she needs help. Can she trust Miles?

Even more, can she control her attraction to him while he's helping her?

Great story with a lot of heat and heart. Thanks!

The writing is good and the hero, Miles, is amazing. The heroine Tori, takes some getting used to. She’s quick to blame and antagonize Miles for a traumatic event in his sister’s past, but Tori doesn’t know what really happened. She has it all wrong and her inability to even consider that she is acting without the facts makes her a tough pill to swallow.

Amidst the drama created by a sex tape Tori’s douche-bag ex releases, her being thrust upon Miles because her dad is also a bit much, and the vitriol she and Miles throw at each other, they someone how manage to realize their true feelings for one another. We get a HEA at the end, but it’s hard won.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGallery, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Loved it. This is the 4th book in the Ethan Frost series but can be read as stand alone, and now I have to go back and read the first 3. The plot was simple, yet the writing was so well done that it kept my attention the whole time and before I knew it I was at the epilogue. That, my friends, is the sign of a good story and an author who has talent.

The characters Tori and Miles were engaging both on their own, but especially together, which is why the the chemistry was so real. And HOT. I think that is why the attraction worked for me, it had so much depth. Let me tell you - the kisses were the main attraction in this show. Yes, yes there was some really hot smoking sex, but the kissing was absolutely divine. Miles can kiss. Oh boy oh boy oh boy can he kiss. And everything came out in the kisses. Every tender emotion and every naughty desire. Every smexy time started with kissing that just got more intense. And of course there is the dirty talk. Oh hell yes it was good.

The secondary characters clearly were the first part of the series that I haven't read yet. While explained enough there is so much more I want to know about Chloe and Ethan's story. I don't think their road to happiness was an easy one, and anytime I can read about characters that heal each other I'm all over it. *adds to TBR*

The cover, while hot, didn't quite fit for me. I know the author didn't pick it out, but I'm still putting it out there. I am not really a fan. It doesn't represent Miles to me. He was quietly powerful and perfect, and this makes him look like a cheesy playboy. Is it pretty? Well yes, but I didn't think it suited the story.

The only other teensy thing was that some parts were a little unbelievable, like the intelligence and resources of Miles and Ethan, but the author didn't get bogged down on extraneous details so it ended up working out really well. Some of the arguments from Tori's side were a little ridiculous for me, but I guess we needed some conflicts to have the characters "get to the other side" and find their HEA. I went with it and I'm so glad I did because the book in its entirety was pretty much a perfect read for me.

The ending was lovely, I felt so very satisfied and the epilogue made me even happier. It wasn't rushed and I got to bask in it all. My heart felt so good.

Rec it? YES! If you love a hot read with characters that will make you fall in love this is a great series. I can already tell I want to go back and read Chloe and Ethan's story.

Happy reading!

** spoiler alert ** I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoy Tracy Wolff's writing. I did enjoy Tori and Miles' story. Their banter is good, and sometimes her reactions to things were a little over the top.

Tori's life is turned upside down when an old boyfriend who is a blockbuster actor, feeling scorned by Tori, releases a sex tape of them that is 2 years old. She is completely blindsided by this, especially when her father disowns her, and throughs her out of her apartment with only a bag she was given 5 minutes to pack. No phone, or anything else. She walks to Chloe's house, where Miles is currently living. Since Miles and Tori have had a tumultous relationship this starts out as another bad moment in Tori's life. Eventually they learn to live with each other, and he wants to help her.

The book goes from there. They start to trust each other, and eventually become lovers. Miles finds some dirt on the actor, which he releases to the public, to try and protect/save Tori. She does not react well to this. She leaves goes to San Francisco where Ethan and Chloe are living, and of course Miles goes there once he finds out where she is.

I really enjoyed this book the only two things I found frustrating were there was no closure with her dad. No him trying to apologize, or him acknowledging that she got her life together. I also did not care for the secret that Miles found in the actor's past. I realize that it ties in with what happened to Chloe, but the book made the studio complicit in "cleaning" his past, and I would hope that the people that run/manage stars, etc aren't this immoral.

I would recommend this book!

I loved Ethan and Chloe’s book so when I saw this I wanted it instantly.

An enemies to friends story with an alpha male that does everything wrong in his attempt to be protective to the point where it’s so endearing.

Tori’s life is a full on mess and nothing goes her way she gets thrust into unwanted drama as a consequence of some of her past choices in life. I felt instantly bad for her as we all make choices sometimes that we may regret later on in life. I found her to be fierce on the outside but completely vulnerable on the inside. She finds herself seeking refuge with Chloe’s brother Miles who she can’t stand.

Miles I really loved in this book. He’s been dealt a bit of a shitty hand based on past events with Chloe that if you had read the previous Frost books you will understand. He’s a genius that is trying to make amends. His Alpha protectiveness in this book was while at times ill timed to say the least made me swoon.

This book has some scorching scenes in it and will leave you a little light headed in a good way. As well the banter back and forth with these too is intense as they come head to head both completely stubborn, I had a quite a few chuckles because of it.

If you are a fan of the Ethan Frost books you will definitely enjoy this one. If you are looking for a funny, romantic steam read then I suggest this book. You do not need to read the other ones as this works as a standalone but I recommend it.

Suspenseful and addicting. I've read all her books and she's never let me down. Can't wait for the next one .

I was very moved by this story. Tori seemed very self-centered except when it came to caring for her friend. This included hating her friend's brother Miles. Her life begins a downward spiral, and Miles feels compelled to help her out. Miles was a typical I-know-what-is-best-for Tori who vowed to be independent and begin to rely on herself. Misunderstandings abounded and had me in tears and feeling a need to smack each upside the head. I loved the chemistry between the two as the story progressed. I highly recommend this book.

I received a copy of this story through Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.
