I'm a sucker for a good enemies to lovers romance. This one was really good - not only do we have a enemies to lovers story but there is suspense, steamy scenes and a really good romance. This author is super talented and I can't wait to read more!

After a run of pretty intense books it was nice to snuggle up this weekend with some pure escapism from Tracy Wolff. Flawed is the fourth book in the Ethan Frost series and while it includes characters that have had their own stories told elsewhere this tale features trust fund diva Tori Reed. After some poor judgement and a vindictive ex boyfriend Tori finds herself disowned by her father and cut off from her previous life with no access to her condo, cards or her trust fund.

Walking barefoot on the beach in last night's party dress she heads to her best friend's house by the San Diego shore. Inside the calm sanctuary she expected to find dissipates when she is confronted by Chloe's tech geek brother Miles Girard. A man she despises and can't bear to spend any time with, but she has nowhere else to go.

Despite Tori's protests to the contrary Miles starts to help her out and she starts to realise just what she has been missing out on in the past.

Flawed is the fourth book in the Ethan Frost series but this book is actually about Tori, Chloe's BFF and Chloe's brother, Milo, who we are introduced to in previous books. Readers who haven't read the other books in the series probably won't understand the animosity between the two characters in the beginning as it's only lightly touched upon. Honestly, after having read the other books in the series myself, I would say you can read this as a stand alone but it does spoil things that happened previously if you do end up wanting to go back to them. Plus, I loved Ethan so I was excited but nervous to read this one.

“This time when he lowers his mouth to mine, I don't try to fight him. Instead I give myself up to the moment, to him, and to the knowledge that just because we're flawed, just because we're broken, doesn't mean we can't be perfect together. And that is all that matters.”

This is very much an enemies to lovers romance. Tori is a socialite/party girl who has had one too many bad dates and has decided to change her ways for the better. But one conversation with a bitter asshole ex and her life comes crumbling down. Her father disowns her and she has little choice but to rely on her friend Chloe's generosity and move in to her old home while she decides what to do with her life. When she gets there, she discovers that Chloe's brother, Milo has already moved in and they just butt heads throughout the entire book. It's a little funny, but also annoying. Milo is this reclusive genius and if you read the previous books, you might understand why I wasn't sure if I was going to like him or not but he worked for me. Tori got on my nerves a little in the beginning but slowly has me warming up to her and then annoyed me again towards the end before I get a very sweet HEA.

I loved the ending and the sexy parts in the book but it took time for me to warm up to both characters. I wanted a little more relationship between the two before they went from enemies to lust to sex to love. I also wish Tori wasn't so damn prickly about what Milo does. It's hard for her to realize that when people love you, they want to help and care for you which is different from controlling a person's life. All in all, it's a good end to a favorite series.

I never thought anyone could come close the Ethan Frost. But Miles Girard has a rawness that just wants you to walk to the edge and drop into nothingness. Tori bff to Chole, Miles sister can never forgive him for not protecting his sister. Wolff has a way of making you want the bad boy to win. Now Tori needs protection and the one person she never wants help from comes to her rescue. Miles knows he can never erase or make up for the things that has happened to his sister. And he is not trying to make up for them in helping Tori. But she sets all his button on high alert and all his blood goes from one head to the other. Wolff makes you feel the exhaustion, the hurt, the anger and the height of pleasure so high you don't want to come down. How do you become so lost that you are part of the person giving you so much joy.

I got this book for an honest review and I truly fell in love with Miles from the moment I read about him.

Their relationship was not based in love at first sight, they actually hated each other so much they couldn't stand being close, but under all the animosity there was some stronger feeling lurking.

Tori was a hard character to love at first, she was too judgemental about Miles, she didn't even know the whole story and the kept blaming him and treating him like dirt.

Miles loved their banter, he was a little scared of her at first, but he couldn't see that it was all a facade. She was hiding, just like he was, and they wouldn't get a chance to really connect until they tore down their walls.

The story was hilarious and beautiful, they were two damaged souls, that had some crazy attraction going on, but they got everything wrong at first.
He wanted to be the knight in shinning armour and protect her from the world, but that wasn't what she needed.
Tori, wanted to feel independent so bad, she forgot that sometimes people do things just because they love us and want to help us, and it's not bad to let them; that doesn't make us weaker, it actually makes us stronger because we have them to back us up.

Is all about finding an equilibrium, you need to be independent and strong but you can also have the support and help from your love ones, because sometimes we are just not strong enough.

Tori Reed may love her best friend Chloe more than anyone in the world, but she absolutely hates her brother with her whole being. He may be the hottest man that she has ever laid eyes on, but she finds Miles Girard pompous, selfish and mean and blames him for not helping Chloe and taking advantage of her tragidy. Tori isn't your average socialite. Yes, she may have the designer clothes and shoes, yet her hair alternates between the various colors of the rainbow and her body is covered with tattooos. She has been trying desperately to clean up her act and her life. Trying to stay away from excessive drinking and bad boys. Yet, when her promiscuous past catches up with her and makes her private life public, there is no where else to run to but her best friend Chloe. Too bad she finds in her stead her arch nemesis and the last person she wants to see.

To the casual observer, it may seem like Miles Girard hates Tori. Finds her annoying, immature and spoiled. Yet he has always found her fascinating and more than a little appealing. He knows how important Tori is to his sister and doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize their friendship. But when a scandal, starring Tori, breaks loose, he just can't sit back and enjoy her misery. And with fate forcing them to cohabit, they are both finding it increasingly difficult to ignore their mutual attraction.

Tracy Wolff not only writes some of the funniest and wittiest dialogues that you could find in romance, but also some of the hottest, most descriptive and unforgettable love scenes that you will ever have the pleasure of reading ;) A truly entertaining book, even for those who haven't had to opportunity to read the previous books in the Ethan Frost series.

Favorite Quote: “Whatever this is that’s unfolding between us…it isn’t casual and it isn’t temporary…at least not on my part.”

Tori despises Miles. This rich party girl been trying to clean up her act since graduating college but when a mistake from past reveals itself to the press, her parents cut her off completely, leaving her homeless and broke.

Surprisingly enough, Miles is the one there to catch her when she falls from grace and soon these frenemies go from hot and angry to hot and heavy. But Tori’s need for independence batters against Miles need to protect her. When Miles pushes Tori too far, he realizes that he will have to admit to his own flaws if he wants to keep her in his life.

I haven’t read the first three books in this contemporary romance series though it didn’t take away from my understanding of the story or the character dynamics. The story starts off on a humorous note as we watch Tori’s blind date unfold in a series of bad cliches and commentary.

“This is what I get for trying to clean up my act. I’m stuck with the nerd version of the Marquis de Sade.”

Laughter erupts as Tori is forced to sit there while her date channels his inner Christian Grey and seeks to ‘command’ her into his dungeon. Tori’s inner monologue is hilarious; broadcasting the perfect amount of horror and exasperation with his antics. Extracting herself from the painful date, Tori hightails it home to make an appearance at a friend’s engagement party then off to bed. Unfortunately, her arch nemesis, Miles Girard, is also in attendance and the sparks fly.

“Miles Girard is an asshole. A total and complete Asshole.”

The metaphorical blood flows as they par and thrust their words with the skill of fine swordsmen. As the night deepens, Tori winds up talking to an ex-lover whom she caught cheating on her. He propositions her which she shoots down quickly and firmly. The next morning brings shame, disgust, and guilt when she discovers her ex-lover did not take kindly to being turned down and humiliates her online while furthering his own career. Tori’s father furthur embarrasses her by implying she brought it on herself and kicks her out-leaving her with only what she could gather in five minutes. Tori runs to Chloe’s beach house only to discover Miles is living there indefinitely. From there the story becomes more serious and zeroes it focus onto Tori and Miles.

The pacing of the story is smooth and the writing engaging as Wolff chooses to blend the two conflicts and use Tori’s misfortune to push her and Miles together. Antagonistic romances can be fun and this couple is the definition of the term. You don’t have to read the first three to understand this couple’s history. Wolff embeds just enough of background into the storyline so that you get the gist of this couple’s animosity and the reasons behind it.

I enjoyed meeting Miles and seeing his evolution. Miles is an intelligent man with the body of a GQ model and the heart and brain of a geek. He currently works for Ethan Frost (the husband of his sister, Chloe) as a researcher. Fully vested in anything he works on, this level of commitment left him oblivious to his parent’s manipulations concerning Chloe and he carries that guilt around with him. Struggling for ways to make it up to her, when Tori arrives on his doorstep and he learns what happened, he sees the similarities between her’s and Chloe’s situations and is determined to not fail again.

“No way in hell is he getting away with this. No. Way. In. Hell. Hell, I couldn’t stop Brandon-then my parents for hurting Chloe. But this? I can definitely do something about this.”

Tori comes off harder to read. She is the stereotypical poor little rich girl-living her life off her trust fund without a care in the world while looking for the love and attention her parents never gave her. We learn of her previous wild hedonistic ways though we are informed she is trying to settle down and grow up. Having grown up with the world at her fingertips, wanting for nothing, there is a vulnerability to Tori that is revealed when her father rips it all away. She is left with nothing-no money, no home, no support. Her new found bid for independence and maturity starts with wanting to deal with her problems on her own. This creates more problems when Miles tries to step in to help without consulting her.

“This man who has no faith in the system and almost as little in me.”

Wolff does a great job of building the sexual tension to nail biting levels between this couple without pushing them prematurely into a sexual relationship. It reveals organically with Wolff peeling back their layers, letting them get to know the real person buried under their protective barriers. Unfortunately, the storyline stagnates on the conflicts and we are stuck rehashing the same issues over and over-both in deed and thought. I would have loved to have seen the humor from the beginning continue throughout. The singular focus on the couple and their journey from enemies to lovers left some important aspects unresolved.

Sexually they discover their compatibility easily enough and it is extremely hot and engulfing but the romance is harder to pin down. Their immense attraction to one another doesn’t cross over to love in a satisfactory manner for me. Core issues seem to circle around with little resolution and the short time length of the story doesn’t allow for any real moments of epithimies. Tori comes off brash at times and I found myself both sympathetic and annoyed with her-especially her habit of dishing out insults then playing the wounded party when those insults are tossed back at her.

Spoiler »

Of course, on the flip side, she has been blindsided pretty hard and her emotions are all over the place. Perhaps if I had read the first three, I would have gotten a better feel for her. As it was, Tori’s claims of wanting to stand on her own two feet doesn’t bear much fruit as she spends more time moping and raging at Miles rather than taking any steps to actually fix the problem at hand.

The ending is ambiguous as Tori runs and Miles chases, realizing he must let Tori sink or swim on her own terms regardless of his need to play the white knight and save the day. I’m not sure if Tori learned anything beyond that Miles isn’t the complete jerk she has always pegged him to be. A small epilogue gives our couple their HEA but leaves too many unanswered questions and we just have to take the author’s words for it that everything is resolved.

Fans of the series are sure to enjoy this latest installment though I found myself not as enamored as I had hoped to be.

Grade: C

I enjoyed this story from start to finish. I absolutely loved the characters and the fact that readers got to find out more about Chloe, Ethan and their little baby. I found that in true Tracy Wolff fashion that the connection between the characters were of the charts, creating very hot and steamy moments between the main characters. I found in times that I couldn't stop laughing at some of the banter the main character Tori got in, especially at the start of the book on her blind date.
This is a definite must read for everyone.

What a great enemies to lovers story! Tori (Victoria) and Miles have spent a year fighting and hating each other over Miles' failure to protect his sister Chloe, Tori's best friend, from his parents' insatiable greed and Chloe's rapist. "Kind isn't really what we do, you and I."

Tori has spent the most recent part of the year cleaning up her act: not partying any longer, no more one night stands, no more drinking so much, and generally, trying to grow up and fix herself. Miles has spent the time trying to come to terms with the fact that he let his sister down, fixing his relationship with Chloe, and trying to find a way to desalinize salt water in hopes of fixing California's need for water during the drought.

When they run into each other at some mutual friends' engagement party, the sparks are flying, as they always do, and the barbs are zinging, and unfortunately Miles gets the last word in their feud. So Tori decides to spend a few minutes calming herself down so she doesn't give him the reaction he's just waiting for from her. Unfortunately, that's when Alexander, her cheating douchebag of an ex, comes crawling over and she uses him as a shield to keep her away from Miles' intense gaze. She, has her pride however, and declines his slimy invitation for some sheet time and goes on her way up to her own condo. When she awakens the next morning, though, she finds out just how much her rejection of his charming offer cost her: her just as much of a douchebag father comes calling and lets her know that she's been disowned and disinherited all because Alexander has released a sex tape of them (a tape she didn't know about and certainly didn't give him permission to record) and has 5 minutes to clear out of her condo (that she pays for out of HER trust fund from her grandparents). Desperate, she walks two miles to Chloe and Ethan's condo to crash while she figures out how she can fix her now even more ridiculous life. When she finds out Miles is staying there, too, while renovations on his place are being done, sparks fly AGAIN!

If there are two more messed up humans that make such a perfect pair I can't think of any.

"Just because we're flawed, just because we're broken, doesn't mean we can't be perfect together."

Tori is broken from all the men in her life, save for her brother Jason, letting her down and letting her know that she doesn't measure up and can't make wise decisions to save her life. Miles has a white knight complex from letting his sister down, and it comes across as condescending and controlling. When you put the two of them together, sparks are bound to fly and harsh words are bound to be hurled. What they hadn't realized, or at least admitted, is that all that negative energy was masking a serious attraction to each other. Stuck in the confines of Chloe and Ethan's house while Tori tries to figure out how to fix her life and Miles tries to figure out how to take care of Tori (without her input), they fall into bed and it's really steamy. The only thing I don't like about their ensuing relationship is that it takes place over such a short amount of time before the l word is said. To go from enemies to lovers, literally, in the space of a few short days, is a little too quick for my tastes.

But, other than the sort of insta love factor, I love Flawed. It's well written with sharp dialogue, a little emotional, and steamy. Miles and Tori are interesting, emotionally complex characters that have an electric connection. I haven't read the preceding 3 stories about Ethan and Chloe, but reading about them in Flawed has made me very interested in checking out their journey to the obviously very happy couple they are here.

A great enemies to lovers story. I highly enjoyed this book. It was full of suspense and action. It was hard to put it down. There isn't much I can about it without posting spoilers. But I do recommend this book. It was a heartbreaking story but it was also highly enjoyable.

I don't even know where to begin with this story. I guess it's an hate to sex to love book.

Tori's character made me want to scream. She jumps to gun with her emotions on almost everything that is said to her. Don't get me wrong there are reasons she is the way she is and I feel for her but it still made me want to smack her on more than one occasion. When she is kicked out of her apartment and disowned from her father (JERK) she goes to her best friend Chloe's house to hide.

Miles is Chloe's brother and living at Chloe's home and for some reason Tori had no idea until she arrived there barefoot and with very little belongings. Her and Miles have not had a great relationship and having to share a house with him is going to be tough....or is it? Miles gives as good as he gets and Tori has him all wound up in so many ways yet he has jumped in to help her even before she appeared at the house.

This relationship is like a stormy ocean with waves that pound you but calm enough to sweep you away. I love everything about Miles. He is smart, funny and hot in all ways and has a heart of gold. The ride from start to finish of this book was exhilarating. I can't wait to see what else this author has coming our way. Fun, hot and entertaining.

This was a good read for me, I Tori is disowned by her uncaring family and she is forced to move in with her best friend and finds her best friend’s brother there instead. I liked the story as well as the characters, although I did like Miles better than Tori. This is a fast paced read with plenty of drama and steamy sex. A good read.

Normally I'm not typically a insta-love fan, but for Flawed by Tracy Wolff it clicked. Tori was a character you just loved and hated with a flick of a switch. She was stubborn to the bone. I couldn't help but laugh every time she opened her mouth.

Miles I couldn't get enough of him! A total babe/nerd.
Tall, dark, and handsome. Always gets what he wants, and then he meets Tori. A women who makes him fall to his knees.....literally. But he is lost, from a moment in his past that has stayed with him.

They both have pasts they would rather hide away, but together they are strong and can beat the demons from the closet.

Overall I really enjoyed Flawed.

I was given a gifted copy by NetGalley.
Tori feels as if she doesn’t belong to anybody and anywhere. She is like a puppet in her father’s hand. She doesn’t feel loved or what it is even worse she doesn’t feel worth to be loved. So when somebody is tender and kind to her, she can’t understand why and she looks for an ulterior intention.
Miles has been fighting with Tori since the very first time they met. Tori doesn’t trust him because what he‘d done to his sister. However, now it is all she has to get out of the complicated situation she is involved with. The problem is she can’t see it, she can’t see that all Miles wants is to help her, to save her from being hurt.
The story has a lot of potential but I think it could have been better with more dialogues and more spaced in time. The story occurs in only two or three days which I think is not enough time for developing a good story. However, the author is good at writing about the feelings of the people. When a young person does crazy things, it is normally a call for attention and unfortunately, I’m not just referring to the novel but in real life as well. Most of the time, people are unable to see what’s under this behaviour.
Sometimes it is repetitive, and something that annoyed me a lot was when the author uses three times in a row the same word. It is ok if you uses that two or three times in the whole book but more than that it is too much for my liking.
I did love the Epilogue: it’s sweet, funny and makes me laugh.

When Tori Reed's world falls apart because of something from her past and her parents separate themselves from her the last person she expects to come to her defense is her best friend Chloe's brother Miles Girard. Then two of them have always had a love/hate relationship. They soon begin to see a different side of each other.

Even though Ms. Wolff seemed to make me wait forever for my latest fix of the Ethan Frost series she didn't disappoint. Tori Reed is just as beautiful as her rainbow-colored hair and pairing her with Chloe’s brother, Miles, was sheer genius. I didn’t see any of that coming at all and although I always found Tori interesting this book just blows me away. As for Miles, well there aren’t enough words for Miles, he is absolutely swoon worthy for a tech nerd.
Finally, as Tori is trying to get her life together and she is doing a great job. One night she briefly attends an engagement party where she runs into Chloe’s brother, Miles, the one she despises so much. Also, attending the party is a past boyfriend who helps save her from any awkward encounters with Miles but she eventually ditches him for a quiet night at home watching past episodes of Scandal. However, while she sleeps the arrogant ex-boyfriend decides to seek revenge for an uneventful night and releases a sex tape of the two of them, also hoping this will also increase his celebrity status. Even though Tori is surprised that such a tape even exist it sends her heartless father into a frenzy and he removes her from his life and takes all her inheritance. Since Tori has nothing left she decides she will crash at Chloe’s house since she is in San Francisco in law school. The only problem is that is also where Miles is crashing since his apartment is being remodeled. Since Miles came back into Chloe’s life, Miles and Tori have had a love hate relationship. Tori loves Chloe so much that she hates her brother for all the pain he has caused her. However, when Tori finds herself in this difficult situation that causes her to be all alone he is there for her. He is the one who wants to come to her aid and to her surprise she wants him there too. Unfortunately, they both see the problem differently. He wants to protect her at all costs and spare her from any hurt. Although she wants to learn to stand on her own two feet with maybe some extra love from him. They have some explosive fights but some amazingly hot makeup sex. She is feisty and he is domineering which can make a wild combination in the bedroom. You need to read how these two finally come to understand each other. You will also get a glimpse into the life of Ethan and Chloe as they rise their beautiful daughter, Violet. Thanks Ms. Wolff for another amazing Ethan Frost book!

When you are feeling down and trodden on by life do you really want to be facing the one person who makes your blood boil anger, and well maybe a bit of romance? Poor Tori, when you need people to support you and you are left alone, i could not handle myself the way you do when Miles shows up. Yes he is insanely hot sounding but also he would drive me bonkers at times. A feel good romance about how the 'enemy' could be more than meets the eye and featuring secondary characters from this series, well worth a read if you are a fan of Tracy's writing style, but also can be dipped into if you are a newbie. But i think reading the other books in this series would serve readers better

This is the 4th book in the Ethan Frost series and centered around Miles & Tori. The book was well written and the story kept me interested.
Tori is caught up in a sex video scandal that causes her father to abruptly cut her off from the family money and her trust fund. Not knowing where to go or who to turn to, Tori goes to her best friend Chloe's empty house. Little does she know, Chloe's brother Miles has moved in and started renting the house. The two clash, but soon work out an arrangement for both of them to stay there. Once Miles realized why Tori is there and what happened to her, he wants to help. Again they clash because Miles makes decisions without consulting Tori, yet any one else doing the same thing would've been acceptable. As they continue to clash and work through it, they start a relationship that neither thought would ever happen.
