I totally fell in love with Miles and Tori. I really felt bad for what happened to Tori. The way everyone screwed her over. Miles helped her forget a little. And her hatred toward him started to diminish. Their journey was fabulous. Their chemistry was off the charts hot! Loved hearing from the Frost's, too in this book. This was just a great continuation of the Frost series. I received an advanced reader copy

FLAWED is the fourth installment in Tracy Wolff’s contemporary, adult ETHAN FROST erotic, romance series. This is scientist Miles Girard, and Tori Reed’s story line. FLAWED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Miles is the brother of Chloe Frost (Ethan Frost 1-3), and Tori is Chloe’s best friend.

Told from dual first person points of view (Tori and Miles) FLAWED looks at the enemies to lovers relationship between trust baby Tori Reed, and scientist Miles Girard. Tori is a bit of a spoiled rich girl and when a sex tape, from two years earlier, is released to the public our heroine finds herself penniless and without a home thanks to her father-a man who has had enough of his daughter’s partying ways. With no place to go, Tori heads to one of Ethan Frost’s many homes only to discover that the man she blames for much of Chloe’s heartbreaking past is the current resident. Enter scientist Miles Girard, Chloe’s older brother, and the man who pushes all of Tori’s buttons. What ensues is the building relationship between Tori and Miles, and Tori’s struggle to accept help when she needs it the most.

The relationship between Tori and Miles is acrimonious at best. Tori has no respect for her best friend’s brother-a man she believes played a role in destroying her best friend’s life. Miles is a brilliant scientist once caught in a game of deceit and power but has left that life behind to work for Frost Industries. His attraction to Tori is immediate; their sexual chemistry is palpable and hot. The $ex scenes are erotic and intense.

We are introduced to Tori’s long suffering father as well as a one time boyfriend Alexander Parson. Ethan and Chloe Frost play secondary and supporting roles bringing some familiarity and cohesion to the story line premise.

The world building focuses on the relationship between Tori and Miles, and Tori’s struggle to get on with her life. Miles is a man determined to make everything right but in doing so forgets that the life he is affecting is the woman that he loves. The majority of the story line keeps the reader locked inside the house with Tori and Miles.

FLAWED is a story about two people ‘flawed’ by their pasts. Tori’s misdirected hatred towards Miles continues throughout a portion of the story; Tori’s history of partying and one-night stands comes back to bite her in the proverbial a$$. The premise is intoxicating; the characters are energetic and passionate; the romance is provocative and intense. FLAWED is an engaging and entertaining tale about one woman’s decent into the abyss, and one man’s struggle to make everything go away.

I’m in the middle on this one. I thought it was ok and I’d read another book by this author but this one did have a few things that made me not rate this book higher.

I really didn’t like the female lead (Tory) at all. She grated my nerves at time and others she was just not like-able. I didn’t feel the connection between her and the male lead (Miles). I did like Miles though. He was a great male lead character. It was also a case of insta love and I never enjoy that at all. I like how well the author writes her sex scenes. That was a bonus here. There was times I felt that some things just kept repeating itself and it never fully had my attention. I think this book will go over great for those already invested in this series. I was not since this is my first book from it. I don’t think it was the author, she is a good writer. I just don’t think it was a book for me.

When Tori Reed loses everything, he sets her free.

I told myself I'd never trust Miles Girard, no matter how brilliant or sexy he may be. His sister, Chloe—Ethan Frost's wife—is my best friend, but I know just how low Miles will stoop to get what he wants. Now he's the last thing I want: my boss.

Growing up, I had it all—except for the sense that I belonged. And when a mistake from my past surfaces in the press, my parents don't hesitate to cut me off.

But surprisingly, Miles offers me a helping hand.

Before I know it, our relationship turns unprofessional in the hottest ways. Of course, he still drives me crazy. But when I'm dealt the ultimate blow, Miles is there for me. And maybe he's the one I've been looking for all along.

First off, I have not read any of the other books so I was not familiar with any of the characters. What I liked about this book was the depth of the characters and their interactions. What I didn't like was all the sex. I know that I'm probably gonna get hazed because of that but...My gosh! Could we not have some real emotion other than, I hate you, no I like you, no I love you...I'm gonna bang you everywhere. I can't in good conscience recommend this to anyone under the age of 18 and I just felt that I kept putting it down and picking up another book. Was the author a good writer? Yes, she was. She wrote from a place of passion, lots and lots of it but it took place in 48 hours. If you like instalove and all that...this is the book for you.

I was given a copy of this ARC from the publisher on Netgalley for a honest review. All of the above comments are my express opinions and no one else's.

Tori Reed grew up having it all and being the ultimate party girl. At the age of twenty-three, she decided it is time to straighten out her life and stop her partying ways. Tori is best friends with Chloe, who is married to Ethan Frost. And Tori sees the relationship that they have and she wants that kind of love, but she has seen way too many frogs and hasn't found her prince yet.

Miles Girard is Chloe's older brother and he is brilliant, nerdy, and very sexy. He has a one-track mind when he is working, and nothing gets in the way of a new invention. That is, until Tori comes alone and turns his world upside down.

With Tori's world falling to pieces, will she let Miles help her? Can Miles make her see that he just wants to help without an ulterior motive? Or will they continue to bicker with each other? They just might kill each other or they will fall in love.

I have loved everything about this series and couldn't wait for this one, but it is worth the wait. I loved Miles's unwavering protection and Tori's "I can do it on my own" attitude. It is what makes them the perfect pair.

If you are looking of a new author, then give Tracy Wolff a try, you will not be disappointed.

This is a follow up book – which puts the spotlight on Chloe's brother, Miles, and her best friend, Tori. They have been in each's company due to Chloe and Ethan, but have never exactly clicked – things most definitely change in this story.

Tori is seen as a rebellious trust fund girl, who has no filter, and behaves just as she wishes – mainly to antagonise her father. She is greatly wronged, and Miles steps in to try and reduce the impact and make her world return to normality. He can't help but be attracted to her, even when she is incredibly direct (rude) to him. It is great fun being a witness to some of their exchanges! Obviously the 'protest too much' scenario soon changes, as they are pitched together due to paparazzi surrounding the house. Miles is one seriously hot geek, and his behaviour is without doubt always meant well, even if Tori takes some time to recognise how to split physical intensity from emotional importance.

I really enjoyed getting an update on Ethan and Chloe, but also getting Tori and Miles’s story. Thank you Ms. Wolff.

Oh man! I loved Miles and Tori's story! Their journey wasn't an easy one, but they were definitely perfect for each other.

Miles has a hard time not beating himself up for what happened to his sister. Tori has been Chloe's biggest supporter and there has always been animosity between her and Miles. They have always argued and bickered. but when forced to be under the same roof, things begin to shift. Tori is at the bottom of the barrel and has nowhere else to go but up. She's strong, a fighter, but she's human. Miles begins seeing past her persona and can't help his alpha male coming out when it comes to Tori.

I loved watching the two of them go from frenemies to something so much more! They were real around each other and in her lowest time, Miles was there for Tori and completely supported her. Spending as much time together as they were, they begin seeing more to the other than just Chloe's brother or best friend. Miles was sweet and tender and completely endearing. He's swoon worthy! Watching him take care of Tori and fall for her brought all the feels! Tori was a tough nut to crack. She was trying to change the way people (and her horrible parents) saw her when her world came tumbling down. And let me tell you, I was ready to throat punch her dad. My heart broke for this poor girl and was glad she had someone there, lending her a hand. Tori and Miles' chemistry was seriously hot and I wanted them to make it.

I have read all of the previous Ethan Frost novels so these characters weren't new to me but it has been awhile since I was in their world. Tracy reminded me (and let someone new to the series) know a little history behind them. This story moved quickly and I found myself unable to put the book down. Highly recommend this read! And get the rest of the books in the series while you're at it!

Final Score - 5 HAWT Nerd Alert Stars!!!

I love Miles Girard. The fact that he's a fictional character doesn't phase me in the least. I love him. love, Love, LOVE HIM!!!

I hadn't always felt this way about him of course. When were first heard of him, from Chloe (his sister's series of books), he was absent minded and in the dark about what had happened to her back in high school. He didn't understand or seem to care. When we find him in the book, we get a closer look into what makes Miles Girard tick and I have to say - he is my new nerdy BBF (book boyfriend)!

In this book, Miles can always be found in his workshop, glued to his computer screen ... working on the next great invention. Then Tori Reed lands in on his radar. And that's when the magic happens! Of course, she hates him as blames him in part for the heartache suffered by his sister Chloe (Tori's best friend) but right now she needs him.

After being disowned and left homeless, Tori doesn't have many places to turn ... so staying at Chloe's San Diego home seems like the perfect plan. That is until she finds out that Miles lives there as well. This is when they kinda/sorta air out their feelings about one another. And they both soon discover that maybe, they don't know each other as well as they thought they did. A spark of attraction is ignited and POOF - both go down in flames of passion!

Tori also needs Miles' help, but she's too proud to admit to this. And of course, friction and misunderstanding ensue. I loved the banter between these two - you could tell that either they would kill each or have the greatest, most passionate love affair since Chloe & Ethan's story.

This is definite must have!

I absolutely loved this book! So sad to see this series come to an end. Review on the blog, and on goodreads.

This is the first book that I have read by Tracy Wolff and it won't be my last! This is book 4 in the series and although it follows a different couple, I want to go back and read books 1 to 3 because they hint about what happened in those books in "Flawed" and I'm curious as to the whole story.

Anyway, this book is about Miles and Tori. Miles is a brilliant engineer and plans to change the world. He is sweet and sexy, but doesn't know it. Tori is the girl who parties too much and has lots of one night stands ... weird hey! Roles are reversed and I quite enjoyed that. In the year that Miles and Tori have known each other, all they do is fight ... they hate each other. But as they say, there is a fine line between love and hate. When Tori is forced to move the in with Miles, they begin to see each other in a different light. I found their story full of arguing and lots of sexy making up ... a great read!

Great Read, help comes from the ones you least expect.
Love this series.

Read it all in one sitting. I just couldn't put it down. Even without reading the first three books in this series, I still enjoyed these characters and their history with each other and with the ancillary characters.

I'm not going to finish this book. I, mostly, liked the characters separately, but I'm 40% in and I'm not able to believe that the relationship between them would ever happen.

Sorry and thanks for the chance.

3.5 stars- Sweet and spicy enemies to lovers

Enemies to lovers is always a fun trope for me. The banter immediately got my attention and had me eager to see how this couple would come together. The writing was fluid and the characters interesting. I always like when it’s the heroine who is hesitant to commit, and Tori was a good-albeit frustrating- character to fill that role. Flawed is the fourth book in the Ethan Frost series but can certainly be read as a standalone, which is what I did. It involves characters and references conflicts from previous books but never leaves the reader grasping to understand the dynamic. The main conflict within the book is brought to attention quickly. It was a different set up forcing the enemies together so they’ll see each other fully. I liked that aspect. The couple did get together rather quickly. While I liked that because it meant lots of steam and room to build the relationship, I did miss the little sniping remarks between them. I also liked how well the alternating first person POV provided insight to what triggered the animosity. I appreciated that Miles POV explained the guilt he harbored, rather than let the reader’s view to be colored by Tori’s opinion.

The romance between Tori and Miles was steamy and sweet. I found the immediate lust that grows into more deep feelings believable and was rooting for the couple right away because they came across as a good match. Miss Wolff certainly writes fantastic sex scenes loaded with heat. The humor is also noteworthy. The author inserts funny moments during the emotional and tense scenes using both dialogue and internal thoughts. These spots of laughter made the book flow and feel natural, keeping it light but not superficial. As much as I enjoyed the start of the book, the pacing drug a little during the middle. There was a lot of set up to the final conflict, and I found myself less glued to the pages. I loved the banter so much at the start and I missed it later in the book. Perhaps that’s what slowed the book for me. However, the conclusion was really interesting and unexpected, resolving the conflicts and leaving me content. I really enjoyed how Wolff wove current news stories into the fictional story, enabling the reader to connect with the characters. Overall, I enjoyed this book and think that fans of this series or fans of enemies to lovers romances will too.

3.5 - "I'm going to fix myself." Stars.

Tracy Wolff, returns to the world of the Ethan Frost series, with book four; Flawed. Although this book gives us Miles Girard and Tori Reed’s story, with Ethan and Chloe as secondary characters.

IMAGE.

I have had mixed success with this series, and this book falls somewhere near the middle. It doesn’t quite match the emotion and surprises of the first book; Ruined but it was heaps better than the middle two books, which if I am being truthful were just all over the place and too full of drama and angst. But the nosey-bird in me was interested to see what sort of story the author would give this couple, as there has been a healthy mutual dislike and animosity between them from their first meeting way back when, and straight through to the first couple of chapters in this book.

I’m not even sure I like the woman- and I know she doesn’t like me- but that hasn’t stopped me from having any number of fantasies about that drop-dead-sexy mouth of hers.

But then the unthinkable happens to Tori and the chips are down, she quickly discovers that Miles is actually a guy worth having in your corner. The resentments and dislike Tori holds for Miles and vice-versa, are all explained in the previous three books, as Chloe (his sister & her best friend) is the woman that Ethan Frost falls in love with. I’m not going to go in depth on the reasonings why here because of the massive spoilers it would give away if you haven’t read those books, but to say that their dislike for each other is in certain aspects reasonable, but in others wholly unreasonable, gives you an indication just how difficult bringing this couple together should be, but Tracy handled it for the most part well. And I think the dual POV helped with that greatly.

It’s hard to hate a guy when he already hates himself.

One thing this author has always succeeded in doing no matter how bad or good the rest of the story, is give good sex for her couples, and although the sexy times between this pair were spicy, I also found the two main occasions to be very similar in their writing, lots of lip-licking and begging throughout each session, and at points it felt like I was reading a repeat of the same scene again.

The drama in this one, although full blown is actually pretty light compared to all the crap that Ethan and Chloe waded through which is another reason why I probably enjoyed the book more, because in comparison too the middle two books, this story is a winner for me.

I didn’t love it, I didn't hate it, I was glad to see Miles in a better light, and also see Tori get a happy ending, I would have however liked to see Tori’s father get his just desserts, after acting like such a tool at the point in her life when she needed him the most, but then his actions are why the relationship between her and Miles blossomed, but it would have been good have had that plot line tied off a little more securely than it was. All-in-all, easy-going and not a struggle to get through, but not the best book I have read by this author. I am eager to see what she has in store for 2017 now this series has been wrapped up.

Flawed was a great read. It gives us Tori Reed and Miles Girard story. Miles is Tori's enemy because of what happened between Miles and his sister Chloe years ago. Chloe is Tori's best friend and they would do anything for each other. Tori's past literally breaks her and with nowhere to go she ends up in her enemy's house. However, Miles shows Tori that he's better than she thinks he is and he is actually sweet, caring and thoughtful. Tori has never experienced what Miles does for her with anyone else, and this completely confuses her. This story was my perfect type of book because even though Tori frustrated me at times, I was just waiting for the moment for her to realize Miles was the one for her and hoping it wouldn't be too late. I would definitely read more books from this author.

Tori is a riches to rags girl. She has rebelled her whole life against her parents and after one too many bad decisions she has decided to turn her life around. She is doing well until she turns an ex down and now her life is in turmoil again and her family cuts her off completely even though the decision she made was 2 years prior.

Ethan Frost is Tori's best friends brother and she hates him with every fiber in her being. Ethan has made bad decisions in the past but has done everything in his power to make up for them.

Tori & Ethan are now thrown together and the sparks fly.

The book wasn't my favorite as I couldnt get connected to the characters very much. The book is good though.

I read my first Tracy Wolff book, Accelerate, last year and fell in love! So, when I saw Flawed, I grabbed it right away. I hadn't read the previous Ethan Frost books. Its not necessary really, but I do plan to go back. The events mentioned sound really interesting.

Tori, our heroine, is your classic 'poor little rich girl' with a trust fund to boot. She is Chloe Frost's BFF. Tori has recently graduated college and is trying to clean up her life. She plans to drink and party less, and find a job. A run in with an ex boyfriend (who happens to be a famous actor) quickly puts a wrench in her plans. The hero is Miles, who is Chloe's brother. Tori and Miles hate each other. Tori holds Miles responsible for something that happen to Chloe in the past and she does not hide her disdain.

I thought the conflict of this story is an important current cultural issue. Tori is slut shamed when an ex releases a sex tape. Wolff does a good job of exploring the struggles Tori goes through due to the ex's callous behavior. She is ashamed, angry, despondent, and lost. She has to decide if she should hide until some of the heat dies down or stand up and be a martyr for the cause. As a female, you can empathize with her and the struggle to make a decision. The double standard is frustrating, the broken trust is enough to make you never date again, and the shame makes it feel like life is over. Miles was a supportive hero who truly wanted to help Tori. He was furious about what happened to her, but wants her to make the decision about how to proceed. They quickly go from enemies to lovers. Miles is more of a beta hero; he is a nerdy guy who spends his time working on his inventions. Tori is so brash and outgoing, her personality overshadows Miles' at times. While I thought the conflict of the book was remarkable and timely, I wasn't 100% sold on the love story. The sex scenes felt repetitive and I found myself skimming. I didn't experience this in the previous Wolff book I read, so this might be an anomaly.
