This is book 4 in The Ethan Frost Series. This is Tori and MIles story.
I can say that I have not read any other books in this series and I was able to follow along just fine. I do think in order to know more about Chloe and Ethan and Chloe’s background and why Tori isn’t a MIles fan you should likely read that book first
Tori is best friends with Chloe who is married to Ethan Frost. Tori has it all and is a trust fund baby, doesn’t work yet and just graduated college. She has been a partier, loves to have a good time and isn’t afraid of sex. She then decides it’s time to clean her act up. Miles, what can I say about him? Miles is a man trying to make up for past wrongs and is Chloe’s brother. Tori can’t stand him. Tori feels Chloe was violated by her brother at the request of her parents, by brushing off what had happened to her. So to Tori’s surprise when her past comes back to the present and wreaks havoc for her, the person she would never think, would help her, is there for her.
Chloe is disowned by her father when said past comes back to haunt her. Bad choice. Remember? Completely cut off, no bank account, no home, and now no cell phone to call for help. Her father takes it all and rips her rug out from under her. Though she never felt like she fit in. Her father doesn’t care, even though she has truly been trying to get it together and be a better person. She walks the two miles to her best friend Chloe and her husband Ethan’s home for the next couple of days. She has no clue that Miles is living there.
Miles steamrolls his way in and he wants to help Tori. He has a big heart and is really a great guy. I loved reading about him and the man he can be and wants to be. Tori wants to make it without getting a handout. She doesn’t want to follow her father and brother in the line of work. He wants to protect her and give what he thinks she needs. She is so strong willed and doesn’t want to do it. They are both great people but I think Tori speaks before she thinks and hurts Miles. Miles makes choices for her like her father did. There is fiery passion when these two are together. Before we know it it grows and progresses.
This was a good read and the flow and writing were good. I was pulled in from the first page and was cheering them. I was laughing at the things Tori would say and do. I wasn’t let down and I would enjoy reading more about these two or even more in general from this author.
Let me start this review by saying WOW what a perfect addition to the Ethan Frost novels. Already a huge fan of Tracy Wolfe and her work I'm honored to be able to review this book.
Miles and Tori are a truly dysfunctional mess. The absent minded engineer and the party girl trying to get her life together. This book starts with a perfect bang that pushes these two together at a anniversary party for mutual friends. After a year of sniping and growling at each other Miles wonders if she'll ever forgive him for hurting her bff and his sister. Read the first three books and find out why. WARNING DAYS OFF TO READ ALL THREE BOOKS MAY BE REQUIRED. After seeing each other at the party Tori's world crashes down around her leaving her penniless and homeless. This results in her staying at her friend Chloe's home that she believes is empty since Ethan, Chloe and the baby no longer live there since they went away for her to go to college. What she discovers is Miles is living in the home. These two have chemistry will they act on it? Will she battle her way out of the mess her life is in. Will Miles be able to show her the man he truly is?
This book was amazing, well written, great story that is believable and hot hot hot. This book was another slam dunk Tracy Wolfe.
I am a huge Ethan Frost fan and was so excited to be getting another book...it didn't matter that Ethan was only in it a little, it was still awesome. Flawed is about Chloe's best friend, Tori Reed and Chloe's brother Miles Girard. These two can't stand each other, but sometimes that makes for the most fun. Tori is mad Miles accepted the "hush" money his parents received to cover up Chloe's rape from years ago to start his inventions to make money for the family business. Miles didn't realize that is where that money came from. He was too preoccupied in his own little world, being the really smart, really nerd tech geek! (one of my favorites!!!!)
For the past year, Tori and Miles have had a love/hate relationship but what neither of them realize is that they both have attractions to each other. These two run into each other at a mutual friend's engagement party and really heat up the dance floor, not by Tori's choice! Such a great scene! Just before Tori leaves the party she runs into her ex and has a rather unfortunate experience. What she doesn't realize is that the next morning her world as she knows it is going to implode.
Imagine who comes to her rescue, but Miles. What starts out as just a guy helping a girl when she is down, quickly evolves into something more meaningful. If you love a sassy mouthed female and a sexy, techie geek, read this book! You get a really good look into what makes each of these characters be the person that they really are. I just adore Miles....A LOT! Tori was always the "fun" friend but you really get a different look at her life in the story...it will really pull at your heartstrings.
Overall, I loved this book, loved the characters and really enjoyed Miles and Tori's journey to their happy ending!
Flawed by Tracy Wolff is an interesting romance book that balances erotica with two people who are flawed. The story line is an oldie, but good one with falling in love with your bff’s brother. What makes this different is the amount of angst by the main character Tori and how Miles offers to help, but ends up missing the boat. A hot hot read with very human characters.
This one was just OK for me. I didn't particularly like Tori. She came across a bit like a bitchy waste of space, to be honest. Instead of doing something about her problems she pretty much just whined about her shitty life and her bad decisions. The whole poor rich socialite that everyone misunderstands gig was strong in this one. You don't want people to label you a hot mess then maybe stop acting like a drunk slut. It's not rocket science.
That said, she does improve somewhat as the book goes on. Unfortunately then the book turns super preachy about how women are thought about. How they take the brunt of the bad press when a sex tape in leaked...yadda...yadda...yadda.
Like I said, just ok for me. The writing itself was fine and the plot (though annoying) moved along at a nice pace. Mile's was a decent hero and the sex scenes were decently hot.
Tori and Miles have a stormy relationship. She blames him for what happened to his sister, Chloe, and has no problems being a royal, pompous a** to him. Tori was not likable to me at all in this book. She claimed to be strong, and then wilted on the vine and lashed out at those who were trying to help her. Yes, her father was not supportive and used and verbally abused her, but she went out of her way to be the bad child in order to get even. The only one she wound up hurting was herself. She dressed trashy, acted trashy and drank too much. She would say that she was going to start down a new path and then do exactly what she claimed she wasn't. Miles knows to steer clear of her when she gets her sights set on him at a party. She verbally abused him throughout this book and I was not a fan of that at all. When he called her on her crap, she would try and spew even more BS at him. She ran when things got tough and was a mess. Miles treated her with kid gloves at points, called her out on her BS at points, and tried to support her throughout the book. I liked Miles a lot and he was the only redeeming character that kept me reading the book. Tori was shown on a sex tape and Miles set about destroying the evidence, even though she treated him like gum on the bottom of her shoe. When he went about trying to help her get some necessities, she flew off the handle and acted like a spoiled brat. The things she spewed at him were ridiculous, especially in light of the fact that he clearly ordered them the day before without any knowledge of what would happen that night. I did like how he called her out and didn't just let her spew all of her pent up venom on him. He also had to call her out on running away and not staying to let him get his side of the story in when another incident happens. Overall an okay read but you need to be able to get past the h's many issues. I was graciously provided an ARC of this book by NetGalley for an honest review.
Tori and Miles have a tumultuous relationship. They have done nothing but fight and snip at each other for the past year. But when Tori's life is blown apart Miles steps in and tries to help. They bond and start to get along and then another situation has them snapping at each other again. Will these two be able to quit fighting long enough for the to realize the deep feelings they have for one another? You will definitely have to read this one, it will keep you on your toes just waiting to see what will happen between the two and to see just how they will handle all these new feelings. i really liked this book and can't wait for more books from this author.
I didn't realize this was the 4th book in the series, but it was okay. I was filled in on most of the back story from the previous books. It was an easy read, and the characters were great.
I have been waiting for Flawed before I fully dove into Tracy Wolff's Ethan Frost series. I have to also tell you that this is the first Tracy Wolff book/ series that I have read. OMG..... I am so in love with this series!!!!
The first three books focus on Ethan Frost & Chloe Girard's love story. Finally in Flawed we read Miles Girard & Tori Reed's love story. If you are a lover of the Ethan Frost series, then you know who Miles & Tori are.... Miles is Chloe's brother and Tori is Chloe's best friend.
I had so many mixed emotions reading this book, mainly because I had mixed emotions about Miles. You all know what I am talking about if you have read the series.... but, about 30% in Flawed, I was in love with him. He really is a good guy. Tori, on the other hand, was one character that I loved in the first three books, but not so much in Flawed. I will say that I loved how she was with Miles - mainly because she changed Miles.
As Flawed continued on my love for Tracy Wolff's writing grew. Throughout the entire Ethan Frost series, Tracy quickly became a future go to author for me. I am excited to read more of her work. Her characters and storylines sucked me in. I felt part of the Frost world from the first paragraph in Ruined.
Thank you Tracy for allowing me to read Flawed prior to its release. It was a treat. I am so glad that I spend a week in the Frost world.

I couldn't put this down. The suspense that was woven into to the story made me want to keep turnng the pages to see what would happen next. The battle of wills along with steamy scenes just made the story that much more exciting.
I would like to thank Tracy Wolff, Random House- Loveswept and Netgalley for giving me an advance copy of this book for my honest review.

4 Stars
This is the 4th book in this amazing series! They totally can be read as stand alones but why would you want to miss out on a great series?!?!
Miles and Tori’s insta love story as super fun. These two complete each other so perfectly. I really loved their story. Tracy’s writing is so enjoyable! She is a sure thing to me for a book that will be fun, romance and with a HEA.
I cannot wait to read more from Tracy.
This is your enemy to lovers story!
Miles is a wonderful guy. I enojed him from start to finish. I loved his nerdy side and even his tender loving side towards Tori.
I liked seeing Tori be herself with Miles and their crazy amazing relationship quarrels.
This book is hot, filled with drama, pain, funny moments and even filled with fabulous sounding food.
3 stars from me.
This is a great book. When 2 enemies who surprisingly have the hots for each other are brought together because of an ex who is trying to get ahead in the game of Hollywood. Definitely a must read.
What a book! This story had me sucked in from the first page and didn't let me go until the very last sentence. I love the way this a author writes, full of emotion, very easy to be apart of the characters story, and man were those love scenes incredible. Miles and Tory have a chemistry that just fits, even though they spent a number of years hating each other. You wanted to smack her father, and don't even get me started about Parsons, the scumbag. Really warmed my heart the way Miles wanted to help and protect Tori, gotta love those nerds! Loved everything about this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
First of all this book this book was amazing!
Miles Girard the sexy nerd who happens to be Chloe's older brother. Also Tori Reed is the sexy feisty best friend of Chloe. Tori has never like Miles after what happen to Chloe years ago. Until one night Tori runs in to her cheating ex boyfriend. Next morning she wakes up to everything in her life in chaos. After her dad disowned her she has nowhere to go but to her bff's house. Little did she know that someone was staying at their house.
Miles has been living at Ethan's and Chloe's house in San Diego while his house is going through renovations. He has been working on a new invention for Frost Industries. Then one morning a visitor shows up at his place. The visitor is the one and only Tori Reed. Ever since Miles meet Tori he has had a thing for her.
Now that they are in the same house will they be able to tolerate each other? Will Miles be able to help Tori through this chaos? Is Tori gonna let him in during this difficult time?
Received an ARC from Net Galley for a honest review.
Book four in the Ethan Frost series and as I haven't read the others I did wonder if I would enjoy this book, no worries there in fact I'm going to go back and read the rest of this series.
Tori's ex posts a sex tape of them on the net, it goes viral and Tori finds herself out on the street with no money, not many clothes and no shoes on her feet, the only place she can go is her friend Chloe's home after fighting her way through the paparazzi the last thing she needs to deal with is Miles who is Chloe's brother. These two have never really got along but you know what they say opposites attract. He is a hot neardy computer geek and she is a hot mess and the chemistry is sizzling.
I fell for Miles in a big way, he is the man trying to do the right thing but he just doesn't understand a woman's mind it's not always black and white.....
This was an easy book to read, it's a love story, it's two people realising their true feelings for each other and sometimes the last person you expect is the one who steps up and protects you. At times I had a little giggle on just how wrong Miles got it but his heart was always in the right place and that has to count for something right.....
Great Read looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
This book had passion in spades! Tori and Miles, even when they are fighting you can feel the sexual tension between them. When Tori loses everything she has ever known, Miles is there to help whether she wants him to be or not. But she soon learns that he is so much more than she ever could have hoped. But will he take things too far in trying to help her out, or will they both figure out that love can conquer all?
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book provided by NetGalley.
I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received in exchange for the review.
I’m not sure what I was expecting on page one but it sure wasn’t what was written! Dang! Jump right into BDSM and then run! It’s not a novel about that but it sets a reader up to expect the unexpected. The author caught me off guard by that but it segued into a hilarious scene. Definitely set the tone of the book and kept me reading well past my normal bedtime! One of those books that you just want to read one more chapter, and then another.
The character development is done well. From the beginning you have two complex people doing things you least predict and then moving together to face challenges as partners instead of adversaries.
Tori Reed was on another blind date, compliments of her best friend, Chloe and her hot husband Ethan Frost. They seem to think she needs a man in her life and are determined to make it happen one way or another. But this guy was over the top and made her realize that she needed to settle down from her party girl ways and grow up. She had been trying but when she attends an engagement party, turns down an ex, and he posts a sex video online that she knows nothing about, her life becomes a disaster.
When her father kicks her out of her apartment and takes away her trust fund, she attempts to hide out at Chloe’s old house since she is now living with Ethan. She finds Chloe’s brother Miles living there and he’s just who she doesn’t want to see. But he’s also the only one who can help her get on with her life. He has the skills to get revenge on the guy who ruined her life.
The only downside to the novel is that the situation with her father remained unresolved at the end with no prospect for it to conclude in the next novel. Otherwise a well written book with the possibility of more books.
This book was okay. I haven't read any other 3 books in this series, so I had no preconceived notions about the characters. Miles was a hot, computer geek, and Tori, was just a hot mess. Miles I liked, Tori not so much. There’s chemistry between Miles and Tori, but I didn’t a feeling of an emotional connection. Maybe because they both had some major unresolved family issues. I did like the book, and it made me want to find out what happened with Ethan and Chloe, so I would read more books by this author.
