This was an ARC for a honest review, this is my first book I've read by this author. The storyline was full of suspence, Sophie left the life of a mob wife trying to protect her son when she met an FBI agent.

A good story full of suspense with Sophia leaving the life of a mob wife behind trying to protect her son and wanting to be with Logan, the FBI agent. He always is on alert for anything or anyone that is out of place. When everything goes back into her fear of her former life, with her son missing and nieces. She trusts Logan will get them back unharmed. For the people that took them well? A good quick story with a lot of action and love.

Sofia Capri is still worried her old life as the wife of a mob boss is going to somehow interfere with her new life. However, Logan Stone isn't about to let that happen, no matter what, but there's no ignoring the phone call Sofia receives. Yet, first Sofia needs to get through Christmas and spending it with Logan's family. Will this Christmas be the best yet, or will Sofia's past ruin everything she's worked so hard to overcome?

This series brings readers enthralling characters that go through so much to achieve their happy ever after, and this Christmas novella was such a delight to read because Sofia has finally escaped the horrible situation she was in as the wife of a mob boss and she's finally found the happiness she deserves. Will her new life be threatened by the past? Will Logan be able to make this Christmas the best one Sofia has ever had? The way this story started had me sympathizing with both the hero and heroine, as Logan has been a godsend for Sofia, yet she still has moments where she's afraid the nightmare of her past will catch up with her.

As for the dialogue, it was well-written and I loved the interactions between Sofia and Logan's family, as they welcome the heroine and her son into the family. Moreover, the heroine is resilient and courageous with everything she's been through in her past. Yet, I couldn't help but feel sorry for her because she's still adjusting to her new life with Logan. Will she ever feel completely normal again? I also liked how the heroine handles everything including something that has her scared her past troubles have returned. While the hero, he's confident, a good FBI agent, and I liked how protective he was of the heroine and her son. I also liked the tight bond he shares with his two friends, as they give him a hard time for settling down. They made me laugh in the moments they interacted, because Logan knows what he wants and that's a future with Sofia, no matter what other obstacles they face ahead of them.

Overall, Ms. Skaggs has delivered a wonderful Christmas novella for her Untouchables series where the chemistry between Sofia and Logan is strong; and the ending had me smiling because Sofia means everything to Logan and there's no better way to prove that than what he does. I would recommend An Untouchable Christmas by Cindy Skaggs, if you enjoy the opposites attract trope, are looking for a quick read, or enjoy reading books by authors Laura Griffin, AJ Nuest, Tee O'Fallon and Scarlett Cole.
