I really liked the characters and I'm so happy there was no Big Lie situation, but I wasn't as into the plot as I would have liked to be. But Ms Milan is still one of my favorites!

I want to kick myself for putting this aside for so long but I also blame my reading slump; I've been rereading my fave romance instead.

Anyway, this has been delightful. Angsty, but delightful all the same.

I was looking forward to this book for so long that I actually put it off because I was scared it wouldn't live up to my expectations. I'm so glad that I was wrong in my fear! This absolutely lived up to everything it should have been. I love, love, love the normalization of diversity throughout the book, and especially with the heroine, who is trans. Truly well done.

Great romance with a fresh take on tropes. I loved the h, she was extremely to die for and the hero was smokin hot. The only reason for a four was because book 1 was amazing and this one didn't live up to book 1.
