Loved this small town romance from Wisconsin in Good Hope of the Bloom Sisters. Marigold has returned home for a short time, at least that was her plans until her love for Cade began to grow. Cade is the interim sheriff to Good Hope. Both with failed relationships but both with such big hearts, that I fell in love with.
Marigold is "still searching for that one place that will allow me to soar." Only to soon find that place right under her nose. Loved Cade, so ready to settle down in this small town and find his happiness ever after.
Get ready to swoon away with this wonderful book of romance and have plenty of wine and chooclate.
I received this book from Netgalley for an honest reveiw.
Sweet small town romance. The hero was a real treat, unfotunately I had trouble connecting with Marigold and liking her. It made it impossible for me to really enjoy the story.
4 - "You and me..." Stars!
The third book in the Good Hope series brings Marigold Bloom back to town, and I love nothing more than a couple who have a one night stand in their history reconnecting.

If you read the previous book in the series, there were hints that all was not well with Marigold’s high flying life in Chicago, as hair stylist to the rich and famous, turns out a few weeks on, and the only thing Marigold is styling when she returns to Good Hope with a car full of possessions, is her responses to why she is back in town. One thing she tries to make very, very clear from the start though is that it’s not permanent.
After five successful years, she found herself now back at square one…
This gives her and Police Chief Cade Rallis the perfect opportunity to explore further the mad chemistry that developed between them the one night they did spend together, and because their time together has an expiry date they agree to keep things on the fun side. Thing is one of them is not completely sure that ‘fun’ is all they want, and the longer Marigold is in town the deeper those feelings grow.
"I won’t ask for more than you are willing to give."
Cindy Kirk has such an easy to get along with writing style it was no problem to fall right into this story, my one gripe was the repetition on which Marigold went on about her time in town not being permanent, it seemed to be thrown in almost every other paragraph at points and got a little wearing, it also made her look a little selfish as well. But for all that it was only a mild gripe, because I loved getting back into the Good Hope community, catching up with recurring characters, and finally seeing others get their just-desserts, all the while enjoying Cade gently wooing Marigold with his many and varied charms.
In Good Hope you were never alone. Someone always had your back.
This is a series that has massive scope and although there is only one Bloom sibling left to have their story told now, and the author dropped enough hints about Delphinium Blooms current circumstances to know that her and Jeremy are going to be the focus of the next book, I hope that the series extends beyond that. Forever in Good Hope looks to be set for release August 17, I cannot wait to go back again!
ARC generously provided via Netgalley, it was my absolute pleasure to provide the above honest review in exchange.
Marigold Bloom is the next sister to return to Good Hope. She's not staying though....NO WAY!! After losing her glamorous hair styling job in Chicago, she returns to Good Hope to regroup and figure out her next move. Meeting up with the sexy town sheriff Cade Rallis was never in her plans but in a town as small as Good Hope it doesn't take long for him to track her down. After spending an amazing weekend with him previously, she knows resisting him now will be almost impossible and it appears he doesn't plan on giving her that option. Could he ever get Marigold to want to stay? Would he ever be enough?
This was a great read and one I would definitely recommend.
I love this series by CK. This release is the third one in Good Hope series and they keep getter better and better. This is Marigold's and Cade's story but we visit all our players in Good Hope.
I love Marigold and Cade together. They had great chemistry and we just needed Marigold to figure out what she wanted was all there for her. It takes the whole book but the story does not drag and isn't too repetitive. We visit with the town folks and the last sister makes a surprise visit in the end. Fin and Jeremy's story should be great, can't wait.
I love the writing style of CK. She keeps the story flowing, not to graphic on the sex scenes (which doesn't bother me but I know some who don't appreciate the details of sex scenes ). Her characters and flawed and lovable. The Bliom family is wonderful and I look forward to the next in the series.
This is the third book in the Good hope series. The series is centered on the four bloom sisters. In this novel the baby of the family Marigold has lost her job in Chicago and has come home to heal her wounds of being fired by the famous Stephan salon. As she is back and attending her sister's new years eve party she runs into sheriff Cade who she had a one night stand with months ago. She quickly let her family and Cade know she's only back in Good Hope for a short time. Though she has told Cade this the attraction between the two of them heats up and he mentions to her about staying but she keeps saying she still will be moving. Along the way we catch to the other two sisters who are now married Ami(who is now pregnant) and Prim with her new hubby Max. In the end Marigold realizes she can still have her dream and still be in her small hometown and be happy. Loved other extensions of characters we get to reconnect with Hadley Izzie Eliza etc. Review will be on Goodreads and amazon.com
Oh my! I loved this! The complexities in Marigolds personality and watching her work through her issues gave this story depth and heart. I enjoyed watching her come into her own. And Cade was just as yummy to read! Good Hope is one of those places created for a story but makes you want to move there and make friends all the lovely citizens. And how about Mr. Bloom? He’s my dream dad! This was a fantastic read from start to finish. I know there is only 1 Bloom sister left but maybe we can convince the author we need to live there just a little longer? I’m sure there are other HEA’s to be made in Good Hope!
